Rainbow Dash:
Old: she was an earth pony and she was the fashionista like Rarity is now
New: she's a pegasus and the daredevil

Scootaloo:
Old: she was an earth pony, her sister was Cheerilee and she had her cutie mark
New: she's a pegasus, Cheerilees her teacher not her sister and she doesn't have a cutie mark

Spike:
Old: he appeared in two episode thingies (G3) called The Princess Promenade and The Runaway Rainbow, he was formal, in The Princess Promenade he was found by Wysteria and Pinkie, in The Runaway Rainbow he was found by Rarity and (I think) Rainbow Dash
New: he is usually in every episode and he's with Twilight most of the time

Rarity:
Old: she was only in The Runaway Rainbow, she was rainbow, her cutie mark was a heart and she was more curious
New: in mostly every episode, she's not rainbow, her cutie mark is diamonds
