The car passed through a tall gate revealing a huge mansion. "Baby, get down", Radha said and arohi stepped out without any protest. "This is our house. Do you like it?", Arjun asked bending down to her height. Arohi stared at him without replying anything while he waited for her answer impatiently. "Come, let's go inside", he said taking her hand in his and walking in. She looked around and found it to be too huge. She was amazed to see so many people walking around the house, which didn't go unnoticed by Arjun. "They are all our servants. They will be working here throughout the day and some will be here at night too. And radha is your care taker, she will be with you all the time", he said and she looked at Radha who smiled at her widely. There were so many people around her, but still she felt lonely.

"Come, I will show you one more thing", he said and took her upstairs. "Do you like it?", he asked her who was amazed to see the room painted in pink with her favourite princess theme and so many toys around. "This is your room", he said and she looked at him for a while and then walked forward. Suddenly he received a call and walked out from there followed by Radha. Arohi sat on the bed and silently stared at the walls. The walls that contained beautiful sketches of Disney princesses.

**Flashback(6 months ago)**

It was a bright Sunday morning and Sonakshi had been calling Dev and Arohi to have their breakfast for the past 15 minutes. But the father-daughter duo seemed to be missing. She knew that they must be doing something secretive from her and wished to find it soon. Giving up, she started searching for them throughout the house and finally found them in Arohi's room. And the scene infront of her, made her eyes pop out.

"What are you both doing here?", she asked in shock seeing both of them scribbling something on the wall. "Oops.. Danger!", Dev murmured to Arohi without turning around and she nodded her head quickly. They both turned around and was shocked to face an angry sonakshi. They both smiled at her meekly increasing her anger all the more. "What have you done to the wall?", she gasped in shock as he moved a little. He quickly moved back and covered what he has done and she hiped her hands angrily. "Move, you two!", she said strictly and they immediately moved aside giving her a clearer view of what's there on the wall.

Her eyes widened in surprise and her lips curved up into a smile as she saw the sketch but she covered it up and walked towards them with a straight face. "I know who did this", she said seriously and they both stared at her nervously. "Sonakshi, it's me", Dev tried to rescue arohi but Sonakshi stopped him. "It's arohi, right?", she asked angrily and arohi gulped down. Arohi had never seen her anger. It was always Dev who would get angry easily among the two. Sonakshi was a cool, chirpy person but now her pregnancy harmones made her crazier sometimes but still she had never seen her in such an angry avatar before.

"Mumma.. I.. we.. ", Arohi's fumbled as sonakshi neared her. She bent down to her height with a straight face and arohi closed her eyes in fear. Sonakshi pulled her towards her and kissed her cheeks one by one. Arohi opened her eyes and saw sonakshi smiling at her widely while Dev gawked at both of them. "It's beautiful", Sonakshi said with all smiles, making arohi smile widely. "Then why did you act as if you are angry?", Dev asked sonakshi irritatedly. "I wished to see how you both will react when you see me angrily", she said grinning widely and Dev shook his head unbelievably. "You are getting even more crazier with every passing day", he said while she chuckled. "It's because of your junior only", she said pointing towards her abdomen while Dev furrowed his eyebrows in return.

"Hello! Stop blaming my junior for everything. It's you who's already crazy", he said. "No it's you", she shouted back and they both were about to begin a quarrel but Arohi interrupted in between. "Mumma Papa, I guess you both are crazy", she said and they both gave her a oh-you-guessed-it-right kind of look and broke into laughter making arohi all the more confused. But they quickly composed themselves back and sonakshi sat beside arohi. "Arohi, why did you draw this picture on your wall?", she asked and arohi flashed one of her brightest smiles in return. "Mumma, papa told me that I should for few more months for baby to arrive. So I've drawn this sketch of four of us together. This is me, papa, you and baby. So that when baby comes here, he will get surprised", she said grinning widely and they both couldn't hide their smiles.

"But you should have called me also right? Why did you call your obhodro daddy only for this? He didn't even know how to draw", sonakshi said while Dev looked at her wide eyed. "Then did you know how to draw?", Arohi asked sonakshi and she nodded in a proud yes. "Ofcourse she knows. When they were in darjeeling, your Mumma and elena maasi used to scribble something not only in our house but also on the walls of every house in her street. And one day everyone on the streets complained about it to your dadu. You know what happened then?", Dev asked arohi and she nodded in a no. "He asked both of them to white wash every house in their streets. And for the next 10 days they both completely changed themselves into professional cleaners and painters", Dev said laughing aloud while arohi giggled covering her mouth with her hands. Sonakshi gave him a death glare and he quickly shut his mouth.

"Come and have your breakfast you both", she said angrily and was about to walk out but arohi called her. "Mumma see my hands are so dirty", she said showing her palms which were covered with colour paints. "I will feed you", Sonakshi said and asked kichu bhaiya to bring the breakfast. Suddenly an idea flashed Dev's mind and he dipped his fingers into the water colour bottles. "Sonakshi, see even my fingers are full of paint. Feed me also", he said showing her all his 10 fingers covered with colour and opened his mouth widely. "I won't", she said and started feeding arohi. He looked at arohi asking her to recommend him and she nodded at him. "Mumma, papa helped me a lot from morning. He must be hungry too. Feed him also", she said and winked at Dev, who smiled at her brightly, which didn't go unnoticed by sonakshi.

"You both are so smart", Sonakshi said looking at them doing their eye talks and they both quickly stiffened in their places. "Open your mouth", she said to Dev and he opened his mouth widely. She want to feed him but then moved her hand towards arohi and fed her. Sonakshi and arohi giggled at Dev, who was still keeping his mouth wide open and hearing them he got what happened and looked at her with a sad pout, making her giggle. "Okay fine. Open your mouth", she said and he smiled opening his mouth. She quickly shoved a big morsel of food into his mouth and making his eyes pop out. She kept on feeding him until his mouth was full and they both giggled seeing him struggling to swallow the food with his eyes wide open in shock.

**End of flashback**

"Baby", Radha called her, bringing her back to the present. Arohi looked at her, who was holding a plate of food in her hand. "Have it", she said trying to feed her but she shook her head in a no. "Don't you like it? Should I bring some other food?", she asked and arohi again nodded in a no. Huffing in dismay, she placed the plate down and moved towards her. "What do you want then?", she asked slowly and arohi stared at her blankly. "Mumma", she replied with moist eyes and radha looked at her dejectedly. "Your Mumma is not alive", she said sternly but arohi shook her head from left to right. "Then whom are thinking about? That doctor and his wife right?", she asked and arohi nodded her head slowly in a yes.

"Baby, they are not your parents. Your parents are no more", Radha said and arohi stared at her with tears ready to spill from her eyes. "Baby, I know that they took care of you well for these many years. But now, since they are going to have their own child, they won't need you any more", she said and arohi stared at her blankly. "See, hereafter you are going to be here. And I will take care of you more than them. So now have your food", she said smiling and was about to feed her but she turned her face away. Radha shook her head angrily and walked away shutting the door leaving arohi alone.

"Sona", Dev called sonakshi, who was sitting down on the floor in arohi's room and staring at the wall, having their sketch. "One day without her, and our lives became colourless, right?", Sonakshi asked him still staring at the wall and he looked down, hiding his tears. "Have it", he said forwarding his hand to feed her but she turned away. "You didn't eat anything from morning. Please sona, it's evening already. You should take your medicines right?", he asked her but she didn't reply him. "Please sonakshi. Don't be adamant. Eat, atleast for our child", he said forwarding the food to feed her. "Arohi will be hungry now. Who will feed her?", she asked staring at the wall, her eyes filled with tears. "There are so many people there. And arjun, he will take care of her", Dev said convincing himself. "But she needs only us", Sonakshi replied and tears rolled down her cheeks. Dev shut his eyes, not letting his tears fall down and placed the plate on the floor.

"Sonakshi, I know that", he said wiping her tears. "But, try to understand. Arjun will look after her better than us. And now it's our duty to take care of our baby. We shouldn't make him starve like this. Why are you punishing him when he has no fault in this?", Dev asked her. "Even arohi has no fault in this", she said and he didn't know what to say. She wiped her tears and took his hands to feed her. "For our baby.. I don't want to punish him for a mistake what is not his, like we did to arohi", she said and ate the food silently. He hugged her one-sidedly and she rested her head on his shoulder, both shedding silent tears, unknown to each other.

"Where is arohi?", Arjun asked radha as he entered the house. He had planned to spend the whole day with her but he had to leave due to a sudden meeting. "She is sleeping", Radha said and he looked at her astonished. It was just evening then. "So soon?", he asked her surprised. "She was tired so she slept quickly", she replied and he looked convinced. "Did she had her dinner?", he asked and radha gulped down in fear. Only she knew that arohi didn't even have her lunch. "I'm asking you only", he yelled at she nodded her head in a yes unknowingly.

Without giving her any other glance, he walked towards Arohi's room. He opened the door and saw her sleeping peacefully. He pulled out a chair and sat beside her. She looked pale, her eyes were swollen but still she looked angelic. He could sense that something was wrong but couldn't figure out what it was. He held her hand and caressed her hair. His eyes moistened as flashes of past came before his eyes. "I won't leave you alone like your mother left me. I will take care of you till my last breath", he said and pecked her forehead lovingly.

"Dev.. Ahh.. Dev.. ", Sonakshi shouted waking up from her sleep. Dev, who slept just then woke up with a jolt hearing her cries. "Sonakshi, what happened?", he asked frightened, seeing her struggling. "Dev.. Aah.. It's paining.. Dev.. Ahh.. ", she cried wincing in pain scaring him more. "Relax.. Relax.. Nothing will happen. We will go to the hospital. Calm down", he said and scooped her up in his arms. Placing her inside the car, he dialled to the doctor and quickly drove to the hospital.

Note: I did a very big mistake in last chapter and I'm so sorry about it. Arjun is Arohi's mamu and not chachu 🙈 It's just that I'm very bad with these relationship names that sometimes I even call my mamu as chachu and vice versa 🙈🙈
