This has been a long time coming. I'm gonna come out and say it

An Overpowered Mc isn't a good Mc

What do I mean by this? Well authors will throw so many powers, weapons, forms, and gimmicks at their characters it's ridiculous! I got two good examples, both Union stories some of you may have read-

One gave the protagonist all the Chakra natures from Naruto (I think just the basic 5), the Sharingan, the Rinnegan, the Gura Gura No Mi, the Yami Yami No Mi, all 3 Haki types and their sub abilities, Unlimited Blade Works (WITH Excalibur, Excalibur Morgan, Kanshou & Bakuya, and EA), and ALL of Meliodas's abilities (Darkness, Full Counter, Hellblaze, Assault Mode) without his Sacred Treasure, and his character was so fucking stale it's ridiculous. 

Another guy had a character that was the descendant of Kratos, meaning he had all of Kratos's magic, weapons, and equipment apart from the shit you get in the Online game. And guess what? All he uses is the Blades of Chaos. What I found REALLY fucking funny was when the Mc fought Thanos, he was losing until he used the power of Hope like he doesn't have the BLADE OF OLYMPUS or the fucking GAUNTLET OF ZEUS. 

Basically what both these, and a lot of other, stories have in common is they give their mc a fuck ton of powers and makes every single one of them redundant as fuck.
