SURPRISE! GUESS WHO HAD A SECOND SNOW DAY!? So I decided to update again.
Also, I'm sorry if this chapter seemed rushed or something. Idk it seemed choppy maybe?
Blaire is definitely getting better with her speech! But everything is moving too fast for the poor girl!
Any ways, tell me what you think of the chapter after you've finished, please and thank you!

Blaire's POV
The next few days are very uneventful and very nice for me. To me they are days to process everything that has happened. Luke comes and we'll play Boggle and he's teaching me to read big books. Right now, he's ready a book to me, sometimes I read it to him. Luke is like the perfect teacher and friend.
"How old... are you?" I tilt my head.
"Well how old are you?" Luke asks, smiling a little.
"Eighteen." I reply.
"Well, I'm twenty three." Luke replies.
"How old is Darren?"
"He is twenty one."
"You are... Both old." I scrunch up my nose. "Do you have... Mate?"
"I do have a mate." Luke nods.
"Can I see her?" I tilt my head.
"Yes. Would you like to see her now? Darren will pick you up there." Luke says.
"Yes please."
Luke leads me out of the house and together we walk to a building sort of by the dungeon and the very big house.
Walking inside I recognize the building. Being in here for a brief time when I first came to the pack.
"This is the pack hospital." Luke explains. "My mate is in here." Luke opens a door and we walk inside.
A woman is laying on the bed perfectly. She has beautiful, long, black hair that is very straight. Her face is very beautiful even though her eyes are closed. There's some tubes coming from her wrists and a machine beeping beside her.
"Is she... Sleeping?" I whisper to Luke.
"Sort of." Luke replies in a normal voice. He walks over to the bed and sits down in a chair next to her. "You can talk to her, she just won't reply."
"She's sleeping... but listening?" I ask confused.
Luke chuckles and motions for me to take a seat in the chair on the other side of the bed.
"Hello Claire." Luke says to the girl and I gasp happily. That's like my name! Just it's a C. "You know how I was telling you about me having to guard the Luna? Well the Luna wanted to visit you. Here she is," Luke looks up at me expectantly.
"Do I... Talk to her?" I ask confused.
"Yes." Luke chuckles.
"Hullo Claire!" I smile, looking at her pretty face. "Our names... The same. Almost." I giggle. "You're really pretty." I say, leaning over her. "I like... Your hair."
"She is beautiful, is she." Luke says softly, brushing his fingers over her cheek.
"Why don't... You... wake her up?" I frown in confusion.
"I can't Blaire. She's in a certain kind of sleep, a coma, only she can wake up from it. And, no one knows when she will." Luke looks over her. "Or if she will." He says quietly.
"She will." I say in a duh tone. "Everyone... who sleeps... Wakes up at... One point." I smile.
Luke chuckles. "Thank you Blaire, for being optimistic."
I can hear Darren walk in and I smile, running over to him. "Look!" I point to Claire. "Claire," I say, then point to me. "Blaire!"
"Yes her name is very close to yours, isn't it?" Darren nods.
"She's pretty." I add.
"She is." Darren nods.
"Can you... Wake her up?" I tilt my head.
"No." Darren sighs.
"Oh." I frown.
"We're going to go back home, say goodbye?"
"Bye Luke! Bye Claire!" I wave to Luke as we leave.
Darren holds my hand as we walk back to the house. We walk in a comfortable silence back. Once inside, Darren looks a little nervous.
"What's wrong?" I frown.
"You... You remember when I told you about the alpha meeting? Well we have to leave tomorrow afternoon for it." Darren says.
What!? I'm not prepared for this! "I cannot go."
"You have to Blaire." Darren says, sounding hurt. "I don't want you to come but you have to."
"I... Just can't." I shake my head.
"I promise I'll never leave your side outside of our room." Darren says softly. "Unless of course, you want me too. And remember Darcy will be there. And I'm sure you'll make other friends."
I bite my lip. I can't do this. Darren leads me upstairs and as I go into our room, he goes somewhere else. He comes back with a single suitcase and starts packing both our clothes into it.
I watch him silently. He puts in a hair brush which I know is for me. He adds other little things and then closes the suitcase, zipping it up.
Darren sets it by the door before pulling off his clothes so he's left in his underwear. He climbs into bed and lays down, looking at me. I simply just look back at him. We stare at each other for a while before I slide off the bed and pull my clothes off, copying him and leaving my under thingies on. Then I join him on the bed.
"What are you doing?" Darren asks slowly.
"Going... to bed." I reply.
Darren pulls the covers over the both of us then wraps his arms around me. I smile and snuggle into his chest.
"Goodnight angel." Darren whisper.

I wake up pressed against an almost naked Darren. I smile a little and push myself up. Darren wakes probably at my movement.
"Good morning Blaire." He says in a groggy voice. I like it.
"Morning." I yawn, rubbing my eyes.
"Are you ready for today? I planned it so we get there at night and you don't have to meet anyone." Darren promises.
"Okay." I murmur.
Darren sighs. "I know this is a lot to ask of you, I'm sorry."
"Mm." I hum, laying back down tiredly.
Darren looks over me and kisses my forehead. "I'll bring you up something for breakfast." He walks downstairs.
I wait patiently, staring out the windows. Maybe I can say I'm sick. Or explain Lilian and Luke can take watch me. Just... I don't want to go.
Darren comes back in with my favourite breakfast, Fruit Loops. He goes into the bathroom and while I eat. When I'm finished I walk into the bathroom, Darren is in the shower so I leave him be. Instead I look at myself in the mirror.
I like my reflection. It's interesting to see myself. My hair is my favourite, it's perfect waves. I try to brush my teeth myself, Darren hadn't let me put the toothpaste on the brush myself yet. I end up getting it everywhere. I brush my teeth before washing the little mess.
Darren steps out of the shower as I finish, wrapping a towel around his waist. "We slept in, we have to leave soon." Darren informs as he walks out of the bathroom. I follow.
He finds himself clothes and puts them on before helping find me some clothes. I end with a black pair of leggings and a cozy blue sweatshirt. Darren braids my hair, saying he had to learn to do this by the force of Violet and his mom.
It's not long after we've gotten dressed and ready that Darren announces its already the afternoon. We must have woken up very late.
I finish tying my running shoes and Darren takes my hand. We go downstairs and out to Darren's fancy car. I slide into the passenger side and buckle myself up on my own.
Darren slides into the other side soon after and looks over. "It's going to be a long ride angel."
***
The car comes to a stop at a very fancy 'hotel.' That's what Darren told me it was called. I'm about to get out but Darren stops me.
"Blaire, listen, I haven't marked you yet—and I know you don't know what that is but don't ask. So I want you to always wear this." He slips a necklace with a wolf pendant over my head. "It has my scent strong enough that you'll be recognized as mine."
"It's pretty." I comment.
Darren nods and slides out of the car. It's night time now. I'm not sure how late though. I don't feel too tired yet.
Darren gets our bag and then takes my hand, leading me into the building. He 'checks in' then leads me to an 'elevator.' It's a strange box machine that carries us all the way to where we have to go. We go very high up.
Darren leads me into a beautiful room that's not even a bedroom. There's other adjoined rooms that I assume are the bedroom and bathroom? I sit on the couch, testing it in a way.
The room is very elegant. It's colours gold and white. Mostly white with gold accents. There's a big bouquet of red roses in the middle of a table. Oh it's lovely.
I follow Darren and we go into a big bedroom. He sets the suitcase down and looks around. The bed is maybe as big as the one at home, the blanket is a shiny red and there's see-through red-ish pink curtains around it.
There's even a little balcony! I quickly go out onto it. There's balconies on either side, though not attached. Probably to other rooms.
The cold night air makes me shiver. Looking down there's a pool, there's even a few people swimming in it.
I head back into the room and to the bed, sitting on it quietly. This is all happening too quickly, there's so much to take in. My few days were just not enough, especially when I hardly had any preparation for this.
Darren why did you bring me here?
"Ready for bed Blaire-bear?" Darren asks. "We have to get up early tomorrow."
I take my clothes off, leaving on my underwear. The, what did Lilian say it was, bra? Was uncomfortable last night so I took that off too. I leave my clothes in a pile on the floor, making myself comfortable in bed.
Darren soon joins me, though he seems a little hesitant. "Do you want a shirt?"
"No, too hot." I reply.
I can hear Darren swallow but he wraps his arms around me. "Alrighty then Blaire."
It seems like only seconds when Darren is shaking me. I push myself up and blink a few times. Since when did it become morning?
Darren throws some clothes at me and I can hear him go into the bathroom.
I slip the new clothes on and stretch out. I could really go for some breakfast.
"Darren! Hungry!" I call.
"I'll be out in a second Blaire!" Darren replies.
He comes out of the bathroom fully dressed and ready to go. He kisses my forehead and takes my hand. "Are you ready to go have some breakfast?"
An uneasy feeling settles in my stomach. Something didn't seem right, but I nod any way.
Darren takes me with him onto the elevator. We step out onto a floor I think is by the bottom. We walk to a double door with windows that make everything inside look blurry. I play with the necklace Darren gave to me nervously.
There's an overwhelming sense of power washing over me. Then Darren opens the door.
I take one glance around the alpha filled room. They're all talking, it's so loud, there's women too. And there's the smell of food but the smell of the alphas is stronger.
I take a step back into Darren, I can't go in there. My body goes all panicky, shaking violently and making my vision blurry until all I see is black.
