Flynn was now sitting next to me, we were in Macia's dining room at her table and Macia herself was still in her shop, sewing and away from the two of us.
Flynn awkwardly slipped on his hat and then looked over at me with an innocent smile on his lips, as if the whole thing was absolutely nothing, "What would you like to know?"
"I'm not entirely sure," I admitted. The only thing I did know was that I needed answers and Flynn seemed to be the one to know them.
"Well, we can continue this tomorrow?" He asked, almost insisting. It was like he wanted me to drop the subject, well, I already knew that. It was obvious. Macia even seemed like she was pushing me to sleep, maybe to try to convince me in the morning that it was all a dream.
"No, Flynn, I really need to know. This whole thing has been so confusing to me and I'm just getting a little upset that I don't know anything," I told him honestly. I've always been out of everything and after a while it grows old.
First, I never understood why I couldn't go outside and then I was being practically shoved out which caused everything to get even more messed up.
Then there was strange noises coming from the forest and Flynn was lying to me about being hurt when I swear he was.
"How about I tell you what was in the forest and you take what you can from that?" He offered.
"Yes," I paused, "yes, that sounds fair." He smiled at my answer.
"Good! You see, Amoret, this place is one of the many human only territories. The forest we were in was kind of like a between area, a free for all, that basically means anyone can go in there," he informed me, leaning back into his seat almost carelessly.
"Even werewolves?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.
"Uh, yeah, even werewolves," he nodded, "anyway, the growls you heard was just from a few rogues."
"What are rogues?" I asked.
"What?" He said, confused and a little shocked from the look of it. He then started to mock Mama and Papa, "You seriously don't know rogues? So, basically, your parents warn you of these so called big bad beasts, but they can't warn you of rogues, the werewolves that are ten times worse than regular wolves who follow the rules? That's just great."
"They're worse than regular werewolves?" I asked and frowned, not bothering to take offence to what he was saying. Rogues would have been a good thing to know of, that I agree with. I bit lightly at my nails, "Mama never told me of them."
"All werewolves are the same, Amoret. They're all vicious creatures full of anger, they're violent and find pleasure in other's pain," Mama's voice popped into my head.
"Much worse. Rogues don't listen, they don't follow rules, they lash out, they always think with their wolf and not their human side, they-"
I lifted up my hand, interrupting him, "Aren't all werewolves like that?"
Flynn frowned, putting his lips into a thin line, "That is not fair, all werewolves are not like typical rogues. Some werewolves can barely kill flies, they could be sweeter than your own mother and you wouldn't even know it."
"But Mama said-"
Flynn cut me off by speaking in a high-pitched voice, copying me, "Mama said this, Mama said that, blah, blah, blah, I couldn't care less!" He stopped for a moment, "She's not always right, Amoret. She got the whole werewolf thing wrong. Not all werewolves are as bad as she says they are, sure they can be impulsive and hard to handle but not all of them."
"I'm sorry," I apologized, "I've just never heard anyone talk so nice about them."
"You shouldn't be sorry," he sighed, "it's not your fault that you don't know but I don't want you to feel that you can't trust werewolves. Werewolves are nicer than you think, trust me on that."
"I do trust you," I stated, "I think I trust you more than Macia and Henrik."
"Good!" Flynn grinned at me, "You can always trust me."
"You can trust me as well," I told him.
"Believe me, I know," Flynn said. He got up from his seat and looked out of the window behind me, I twisted to see whatever he was looking at.
I never realized it was nighttime.
"I should go," Flynn said, "I need to bring the clothes back to America by morning."
"Will you come back?" I asked, getting out of my seat.
"Yeah," he said. He glanced back at me as he told me his answer, there was a certain glow in his eyes when he watched the moon shining in the pitch black sky. "Amoret?"
"Yes?" I looked up at him.
"I guess I haven't been completely honest about rogues. Not all of them are the same either. There's the typical rogues that you're warned of and then there's another type, the innocent ones," Flynn paused and sighed as if this conversation was tiring for him, "the typical type are the rogues who were kicked out of their pack for good reason, you should avoid them. Then the other type are the rogues who run away from their pack if they feel unsafe, or they could have just been born outside of a pack, those are the ones who are okay."
"I understand that," I nodded.
Flynn laughed, "Who knew I would be giving you a lesson in werewolf."
I laughed along with him, "Who knew I would ever get to talk about the good side of werewolves."
Macia entered the room after our small laugh, "I have your stuff packed up, Flynn. Your ride is outside as we speak."
Flynn nodded at her then turned back to me, "Goodnight, Amoret."
Flynn left after saying his goodbyes to Macia. Henrik was out, Macia was the only one home besides myself. She ended up walking me back to my room and staying a few minutes to chat, we had a small talk about dress patterns but that was really it.
Macia was just about to leave my room when I stopped her, "Macia, what's your take on werewolves?"
"I never agreed with your mother, Amoret," she smiled at me, "that's all you need to know."

So, I haven't posted in a while. I know it hasn't been too long but I'm starting to think I should have a set in updating day.
Although, I think it's okay to keep doing what I'm doing right now.
Hope you enjoy this one even though it's just a small bit on rogues!
