I kept taking glances at Flynn. He sat there, rubbing his nose and mumbling about how 'it hurts'.
"Wait," I stopped him by grabbing his arm, all I could see of his face was his wide eyes because his hand was held close to his nose, covering his features, "if your nose is irritated then you shouldn't rub it so hard."
"Yeah, I know, I just have a sensitive nose," he shrugged, "it'll be fine."
"Okay," I said hesitantly. I went back to looking out the carriage, watching the trees disappear and new ones replacing them.
"Are you looking out there for a reason? I mean, if you dropped something back there then I don't think you could get it back," Flynn spoke up from beside me.
"No, I'm just worried," I confessed with a sigh and started chewing at my nails.
"Why are you worried?" He asked.
"The bea-werewolves. The werewolves," I corrected myself. "They're out there."
"They won't be near us unless they're looking for something. They don't like cutting off the carriages, especially when the boat is coming in," Flynn reassured me.
"Are you sure you can trust them?" I asked.
I grew up thinking of the beasts as monsters. Wild and vicious animals. Mama told me stories of the wars created by them, the killings they did.
The things they did to get power over the humans.
"Of course! Amoret, you can trust me and if I trust them then you can too," Flynn told me, grinning. His voice snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Thank you, Flynn," I smiled back at him, "you've been helpful, more than you know."
"The werewolves aren't that bad and I'm sure you'll be able to figure that out for yourself."
"You should sleep, Flynn, it's almost midnight," I told him. It was late, I was falling asleep myself but I knew I had to stay on my task. Get to France and go see Macia.
"Okay, Amoret, thanks!" Flynn leaned back in his seat, arms folded behind him. I went back to looking out of the carriage, trying my best to ignore Flynn's snoring throughout the night.
I didn't want to wake him when we got to the boat. The driver was heading that way with the rest of the passengers, I paid for Flynn's ticket onto the boat.

"Flynn," I said as I shook him awake.
"Training doesn't start for another hour, Jack," Flynn mumbled, turning his head away from me, "let me sleep."
"Flynn," I tried again, "what are you talking about? It's time to go, it's our stop."
He looked back, squinting at me, "Amoret?"
"Yes, it's me. Come on-" I pointed to the driver glaring at us through the small window, "he's getting mad, we're the last ones on."
"Oh, Amoret!" Flynn jumped up out of his seat, shoving his hat on his head and practically flying out of the carriage. "I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay," I told him. We began walking, it was nearly morning and the sun was beginning to come up, it was easy to see the trail. I followed Flynn as he pointed to buildings and people, telling me who and what they are.
"Now," Flynn paused, "Macia's shop is just up the corner, you can't miss it, you'll see the dresses in the window."
Flynn pointed me towards a brick road, I took note of how many buildings were lined up next to it. "Thank you, Flynn, I'm sure I'll see you soon."
"You'll see me tomorrow, I still have to pick up some fancy clothes," he waved me goodbye and began walking his own trail, leaving me alone.
I followed the path he set me on, smiling to anyone who passed me. Going up to the very top of the street, at the turn there was a shop with dresses in the window. I stepped up onto the small set of stairs and opened the door, slowly entering and hearing a bell ring behind me once I closed the door.
"Hello!" Someone called from inside.
"Hello, Macia?" I greeted. I hoped it was her.
"It is I!" A woman walked towards the front of the store, with fabric hanging off her shoulders and her hair pulled back in a bun, black with messy curls lining her face. "Oh," she spoke, her face falling at the sight of me.
"Oh?" I asked, confused and scared. Papa wouldn't of sent me somewhere where I wasn't wanted, right?
"Oh, oh, oh!" She clapped. She began smiling and her eyes lit up as she got closer, pulling down her glasses and looking at me. "You must be Amoret! Oh, look how beautiful! Your mother was right, so gorgeous!"
"Thank you," I blushed as she pinched my cheeks, making them redder than they already were.
"Henrik!" She yelled, turning away from me, "Come quick!"
"Who is Henrik?" I asked her.
"Your mother didn't tell you, did she?" Macia asked me.
"Tell me what? Papa told me to come here and that's what I did."
"Oh, you poor thing!" Macia cooed, pulling me into her chest and wrapping me in a hug. "Your parents didn't tell you anything, out of it completely!"
"What do I need to know?" I asked, returning her hug.
"I'll explain it all tonight, my dear! As soon as we get you out of those clothes!" Macia told me as she let go, she pulled off my cloak in one swift move, "This just won't do!"
"Mom? What did you w-oh," a deep voice said. I looked over Macia's shoulder to see a tall man standing there, looking directly at me until I caught his blue eyes with my own. He quickly twisted and looked away with a pink tint to his cheeks.
"Henrik! You took your time!" Macia turned to scold him, "We have important things to do!"
"Mom," Henrik started with a cough, "you might want to give back her cloak."
"But why? Look at what they got her wearing!" Macia held up my cloak for her son to see, "Look!"
"Mom, look at what she's not wearing!" Henrik exclaimed, still covering me from his eyes and looking to the corner of the room.
Macia looked back at me, her eyes went from my head to my feet. She frowned, "Oh dear."
"Oh dear is right!" Henrik agreed.
"Why would you look at a lady like that, Henrik!" Macia scolded him, shielding me from his eyes, "I taught you better than that!"
I looked down to see for myself. I was still in my pale nightgown.

Okay, so, this is also a filler. They're all needed but I feel there's not much going on.
Although, I did need to add Macia and Henrik in.
It's working out.
Update: I completely forgot to add the boat part, I did quick fix it though, right after Flynn falls asleep I mention the boat ride.
