Chapter 3

I went on to tell the princess how I came here, including the randomly appearing book. She told me we were in Canterlot, the main city of Equestria. She showed me a mirror and I gasped when I saw the horn atop my head!

Princess Celestia giggled when I peered through the colorful glass windows and gazed at the world of which they call Equestria.

We were on a tour in the library, when I interrupted the description, "Princess, do you know why I'm here? Are you the reason I have somehow teleported to this strange world of fillies and colts?"

"Child, I do know why you are here."

"So why am I here? What is going on?"

"I have watched you for your entire life. The day you were born, I saw something special in you! I knew that one day you would visit Equestria, but I was not expecting it so soon!"

"I still do not understand why?"

"You are here to learn a very important lesson. One that you have taken for granted your whole life! You are here to learn that friendship is magic. You are here to find your true element!", the princess exclaimed!

"But why is it me that has to go to this bizzare world?!" I asked, then added quickly, "no offense."

"None taken. You are more special than you think. That is all I am going to say, so please, no protesting!"

I thanked Celestia for all she has said to me. She wanted to introduce me to her sister, bearing the name Luna. I was led down a hall to a door with a crescent moon shape on it. Princess Celestia's horn lit up, and she knocked on the door, which in the process, swung open. Light filtered into the room from the window. The room was dark, and had posters of moons and star constellations on the walls. On the purple bed with light blue covers, lied a dark blue alicorn with a purple, flowing mane and tail. This must be Luna! She was as gorgeous as a fashion model!

Celestia greeted her first, "sister, I would like you to meet a young filly named Sugar Blossom! She is a delight to be around, and is very entertaining. Sugar, this is my sister, Princess Luna."

I was so nervous, I felt my mane standing on end, but I managed to squeak out, "h-hello y-your m-m-majesty." I bowed so my nose touched the floor. I heard a giggle from across the room.

"Oh silly!" Luna laughed, "did Celie teach you that? Oh, no need for it Sugar! All I want is a nice, unnervous greeting. I am not the snob I may look like. "

"Oh" I relaxed a bit, not realizing the tension in my legs.

"Oh, no! You must have heard of Nightmare Moon! She was a nasty mare. I can't blame you though! Oh, and not to scare you or anything, but the truth is, I was her. Anyways, where are you from?"

"I am from Canada, your highness."

"Is this the one you've been restless worrying about, Celie?" Luna shifted her gaze to the other royal mare.

"Yes, she's the one!"
