I couldn't believe either my eyes or my ears. The necklace that appeared went around my neck, and I held my hoof up to it.
"What does this mean?" I looked up at the princesses.
"It means the prophesy came true. And it was about you. This is the seventh element of harmony, and you represent it." Princess Celestia explained.
"Princess, what will happen to the other elements when Sugar goes home? Will they still work with the seventh not present?" Twilight questioned.
"The other 6 elements of harmony worked fine without the element of peacekeeping, they should still function without it." Celestia said.
"What do I do now?" I asked.
"You say goodbye to us and we send you home. You can keep the necklace." Celestia smiled at me.
I said goodbye to everyone, including pinkie pie with her teary eyes, and walked up to the princess.
"How will you send me back?"
"You will see a bright light and wake up in your bed as if this was a dream. Thanks, you will go back to living your life like normal, hopefully using what you have learned here to help you. Goodbye, Sugar Blossom, you have been a great student." I hugged everyone, including the princesses, and stood in the middle of the room. Celestias horn glowed, and suddenly I saw a flash of light.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of my room. Whewf, I thought. It was just a dream. My alarm clock was blaring loudly, so I turned it off. I got out of bed on all fours and started trotting to my dresser to get changed. I was trying to open the drawer with magic, when I realized nothing was happening. I felt my head with my hand...hand! Not hoof! Anyways, I felt my head, to find that a had no horn.
Slowly, I stood up on shaky legs. I had to hold the dresser in order to stay standing. I felt weird standing on two legs again. I leaned against the wall, slowly making my way to the calendar. It was the same day it had been when I was 'magically transported' to the land of Equestria.
I reached out my hand and closed my fingers around the handle of my dresser, gently pulling it out. It felt weird, not using magic. I grabbed a pair of shorts and a t-shirt from the drawer and managed to change out of my pajamas.
As I walked downstairs, using the walls for balance, I began to remember what I had to do in order to get ready for school. I ate breakfast, a bowl of cereal, and packed my lunch. I looked at the clock. 7:45. Time to go out for the bus. I ran a brush through my hair, and slipped my bare feet into my purple converse. Then, I grabbed my back pack and made my way to the bus stop.
The bus driver came, and I stepped on the bus, looking around for a seat to sit in. All the seats were taken, except for the one beside Kylie. I walked down the aisle and settled down beside her. She looked up at me from the book she was reading and offered me a half smile. I smiled back.
"Hi Kylie. " I said quietly.
"Hello Sugar" she replied.
"I'm truly sorry for being mean to you. I guess I just thought My Little Pony was for little kids. Will you forgive me?" I asked, not meeting her eyes.
"Of course I forgive you. What changed your mind?"
"I guess it just came to me...in a dream." I grinned at her. "So, now that we're friends again, do you want to have a sleepover tonight?"
"Absolutely! We can watch Netflix and eat popcorn from my new popcorn machine! You can come to my house!"
For the rest of the bus ride, we planned what we would do during the sleepover, coming up with games we could play and snacks we could have. We were really excited.
The whole day, I couldn't stop hinting about my dream I had. Oh! And the sleepover I was going to attend. Kylie and I had asked our parents earlier if we could, and they agreed, luckily. While on the phone, I asked my parents where they were this morning. They reminded me about the get together they had planned with a few of the other kids in my school's parents really early at someone else's house.
During lunch, I was sitting in the cafeteria with a few people I had made friends with that day. Alyssa, I had bumped into earlier, and made her drop her books. I helped her retrieve them, and we became instant besties. Sam, I had offered a pencil when she didn't have one in math earlier. Tiana had been asking about who stole her ruler, and I had confessed to her, returning the ruler. Marissa was trying to tell some people jokes to make them laugh, but they glared at her and walked away. I tried to cheer her up with a joke of my own, and managed to plaster a huge smile on her face. Abi made the soccer team for school, and asked me to join the team, at exactly the same time someone from a different school asked me to join their team. I refused them, and Abi became my team mate and new friend. Madison was sitting at her desk, bored, when I came over with a deck of cards. I did a magic trick, correctly guessing her card, and earning myself a friend.
Kylie walked into the cafe with her lunch in hand. I called her name, and gestured for her to come over. She complied, and I introduced her to my new friends.
While we were talking about random things, I saw the school bully, Taylor Mascot, stand up out of the corner of my eye. There was a shorter girl sitting by herself in the corner of the cafe. Taylor seemed to have chosen her as his target. Before I knew what I was doing I stood up from the table. My friends looked at me, asking what I was doing, but I could barely hear them. My focus was on the tall figure cornering a smaller one.
"Hey pipsqueak," Taylor said to the girl. "Gimme your lunch, or else." The little girl cowered in fear.
"Or else what?!" Without thinking, I marched up right behind the bully. Slowly, he turned around. He had an ugly smirk on his face.
"Awww, look who it is. It's blossom the possum, here to save the day!" His friends laughed. "What are ya gonna do, bore me to death?"
"Leave her alone!" I glared at Taylor. He stared back at me, laughing.
"I can do what I want when I want. Some puny girl can't stand against me!"
"Aw, shut up, Taytertot! Pick on someone your own size!" I felt strength rise in me, making me stronger. I felt magic flooding my veins. I could have sworn my eyes melted due to the anger burning through me. I would never risk letting people know about my powers, so instead of unleashing it, I forced it all into my fist.
"Go ahead, wimp! Punch me. I dare you." Taylor held his arms open, exposing his chest. Once my power was combined into a ball inside my hand, I pulled back my arm and punched Taylor as hard as I could. I knew he would go flying, I just didn't expect him to hit the ceiling.
Once he fell to the floor, I kicked him.
"That should teach you not to mess with helpless children!" I slowly walked over to the girl who was still in the corner, and grab ed her hand. "Come sit with us at our table," I said softly, leading the girl. Only then did I hear the cheering and notice the crowd that had gathered. I sighed, and sat down, continuing my lunch, my friends sending me weird glances.
