Mabel stared blankly at the new grave in front of her. Her right hand was a single rose. While the other was clutching the bloody hat of her deceased brother.

It was a sunny day when he died , a sunny day that is supposed to bring happiness to her and her twin. They were going back to gravity falls once more, they were going to meet their friends there after a year of separation.

But....

But then the bus driver started to scream , it was deafening. But that didn't stop the her twin from bolting from his seat and running to the driver to see what happened. But then she saw his eyes widen , horror filling the once happiness filled chocolate orbs .

He suddenly ran to his arms embracing her protectively , they were the only people inside the bus other than the driver.

A crash was heard then a huge log barreled into the front of the bus effectively killing the driver , but a stray  log bounced from the others hitting the spot where the twins were.

When the police managed to remove all the big logs only Mabel managed to make it out alive out of the three, thanks to her brother who protected we with his body.

Now because of his selflessness he's gone, forever. Mabel has yet to say a word after the incident which was about a week ago. And her brothers funeral was placed at Gravity Falls which was not protested by her parents , who now moved to Gravity falls permanently ,wanting to be close to their son as possible. And to not let Mabel travel back and forth anymore .

Mabel felt something drop from her eye across her cheek to he chin dripping to the ground. Suddenly more tears made its way to to her eyes. We session those tears for her lost brother, knowing that things will never be the same again .

No more mystery hunts with her bro-bro. She would never see the goofy smile on her brothers cute face ever again. She couldn't tease him anymore about anything. She's never going to get their awkward sibling hugs anymore.

Her brother was gone. Forever. And nothing's going to bring him back.

But she knows that her brother wouldn't want this. For Mabel to be sad. Or anyone for that matter because of his death . So she was going to live, live the life that her brother saved with his own. She was going to live it to the fullest . Even with the dull ache that will forever be in her heart, Mabel was going to continue forward , that's what her brother would want.

He wouldn't want this for them to be wallowing. So she stood from her chair her black dress bouncing slightly. Which startled the others near her. She placed the rose on her her brothers grave. Before turning around facing her audience , her eyes were full of determination which reminded others of her brother.

She pale the bloodied hat on we head and placed her hands on her hips.

" So I'm going straight to the point here everyone " she said looking at each and everyone's expressions, everyone in gravity falls was here, Grunkle Stan was sitting on his chair slumped tears tracks visible on his cheeks , he had his hand clenched , beside him was his brother Ford. Ford was looking at hi six fingered hand , his glasses were fogged overbuy you could see he was crying. Wendy was hugging her on and off boyfriend Robby , she was crying on his shoulder , grieving for her best pal. Soos had his cap covering his eyes but tears were still spilling from his eyes for the loss of his best friend. Mabel and Dippers parents were staring at her hugging each other for comfort.

" Dipper wouldn't want this" Mabel stared once more, all puffy red eyes were on her now, Mabel was raising her hand featuring at them all." He wouldn't want us to keep wallowing, he would want us to be happy and live our lives to the fullest , he sacrificed his life to save me , so he wanted me to live not to keep wallowing , so on this day I will let you mourn , but tomorrow we will move on , we will continue our lives and live them to the fullest. But remember this.." Mabel paused looking at everyone once again. " moving on doesn't mean forgetting him , only  accepting his death ,and living with it, so don't remember him as a bloody corpse" Mabel chocked out" Remember him as the goofy , mystery loving sweaty, paranoid, smart and petite , even though he won't admit it and claim he is manly," everyone chucked at this , causing the mood to lighten. " boy we know and love okay?" Mabel said cheerfully her heart felt lighter for some reason but brushed it off.

With that being said everyone had small grins etched on their faces and shouted their positive responses.

Mabel then whirled around looking at we brothers grave , now smiling softly , she whispered .

" You don't have to worry about us dip'n dot , we're going to be fine. So rest in peace ok?"

But unknown to the people in Gravity falls that during the young pines funeral, a few meters away from them behind the tree that led to the forest was a man leaning against it.

His arms crossed on his chest, he was staring at the sky unblinkingly , tears were streaming from his face , they seemed never ending to him. But he knew that yet we're going to dry up sooner or later.

He gritted his teeth then pushed his back against the tree to properly stand. He then walked away only one thought keeps replaying on his mind like a broken record.

You broke your promise.....
