CHAPTER 26

It was early-ish in the morning, and Deku was sound asleep in his bed. The time was around 5:30AM or so, meaning the sky outside was still dark.

There was a small light showing around the door across the room that suddenly turned on, not enough to wake the man though. Slowly the white painted door creaked open; letting more of the bright light into the room.

A little head could barely be seen partly level with the door handle that was twisted with someone's hand holding it. Eri had walked into the room looking for her father. Once she noticed the light that was flooding into the room she quickly, but quietly shut the food, hoping not to wake Deku.

Once closed she turned around and walked towards the bed on Bakugo's side. Because the bed was tall, there was a small struggle to climb on, but she was able to pull her self up and crawled over to Deku. She curled under the covers and snuggled up to Deku, waking him up.

"Eri? Is everything alright?" He asked softly. she gave a soft nod in response. "I couldn't fall asleep after I woke up, but I'm still tired..." her voice dragged a bit showing she really was exhausted. "Alright then, let's go to sleep, love-bug." His voice was sleepy and basically dripping with sweetness and care.

Deku's eyes were only half open as he started to settle in with Eri cuddling close to his chest and his arms wrapping around her softly and safely. She relaxed into his arms, making them both sink into each other's warmth and comfort.

They both soon fell asleep again within minutes and it felt nice. There was a beautiful vibe and aura in the room, making them both relax for hours more of rest.

~~Later~~

The room was peaceful and quiet... until Deku's phone went off. It only rang for 10-15 seconds before Deku woke up and realized and turned it off to not wake up Eri. A short sigh leftt his lips before he brought the phone to his ear to hear who would call at the time.

Deku- "Hello?" His voice was grouchy and tired as he spoke, not fully awake yet.

Bkaugo- "Izuku, please come pick." His voice was a bit shaken, sounding like he was mad or scared.

Deku- "Kacchan, what's wrong? Is everything okay?"Deku was now more awake, worried why Bakugo was up and awake like that, making him concerned.

Bakugo- "Just please, come pick me up." His voice went lower, like he had to hide it. Like he had to hide the fact he was talking. His breath seemed hitched and shortened, like he was nervous about something.

Deku- "Okay, okay, I'm coming over. i'll pick you up, take a breath baby, it's alright." He said. He was now fully awake. His eyebrows furrowed and his face turned to one full of worry for his lover. "I'll be there soon. relax, okay?"

Bakugo- "Just get here, please."  A short sigh escaped his lips and was heard through the phone. Suddenly, he hung up. No explanation, no noting.

Deku's mind now raced with worries, wandering everywhere of what could've happened for Katsuki to panic like that. He quickly jumped out of the bed while also making sure not to bother Eri while she slept. He threw on a pair of ripped baggy jeans, a white tanktop, and a oversized hoodie.

While changing he called Momo to come watch Eri, to make sure she would be alright while he was gone, and left.

He had memorized the address when he was younger, so knew where to go. He drove Quickly, but also stayed under the speed limit so he wouldn't be pulled over, but maybe ran a few red lights.

After a while he arrived at the house, but parked a few houses down so they wouldn't see him. Unsure if he could call, he sent a text.

{IN IZUKU AND BAKUGO PRIVATE CHAT}

Deku- "Kacchan I'm here, are you ready?"

The text was seen within the second it was sent, like he was waiting for it to appear.

Bakugo- "I'm coming outside."

The text had been sent before Deku could've even put down the phone or look away.

Deku- "Okay."

{OUT OF THE CHAT}

Deku watched out the Window, waiting for him to come out. 1 minute after the text had been sent Bakugo walked out of the house with his bag of things. He looked as if he was run-walking. Like he wanted to run, but didn't want to attract attention from anyone.

It didn't take him more than 5 seconds to spot the car, as he'd seen it hundreds of times now. He quickly went over to the car and got in, throwing his bag in the back.

"Hey, Kacchan, what's wrong?" Deku asked. He moved one hand to rub Bakugo's hunched over back and the other to hold his hands, trying to calm him down. 'What the hell happened? I swear if they hurt him... breathe... focus on him right now.'

"Take your time... just breathe...." Deku started whispering little nothings to the blonde, trying to soothe him. It took a few minutes, but soon his breathing was normal again. "Kacchan, are you alright?" Deku asked in a sweet tone.

"Y-Yeah... I'm alright now." Bakugo's response sent a chill down Deku's spine. 'What... What the hell? Did Kacchan stutter? He never stutters.' He was in absolute shock. He didn't want to make Bakugo uncomfortable, but he had to ask.

"Kacchan, what happened?" he started calmly. "You never stutter, I'm worried." His eyes showed care and a bit of sorrow laced across his face. He clearly saw his lover in distress and he wanted to know why.  "You don't hav-"

"No I do have to, nerd." Bakugo said just above a whisper. He knew what the guy was about to say before he even said it. A small sigh released from his lips as he started to explain...

FLASHBACK TO A FEW HOURS AGO

It was around 5:27AM and Bakugo was peacefully sleeping in his room at his parents' house... But not for long. His sleep was rudely interrupted by a loud banging on the door.

"Jesus fuck-" "GET YOUR ASS UP BRAT!" Mitsuki yelled through the door and walls.

A few more bangs came through the door before it finally came to a stop. 'Ughhh... it's so fucking early. Why the hell is she waking me up so early...' Bakugo sighed as he stood himself up from the bed and sat on the edge. 'What time- ALMOST 5:30 IN THE MORNING?!'

He kept his screams down, not daring to make a sound knowing he'd just get an ear full of yelling from his mother if he yelled. After about a minute of sitting there he grabbed his phone and saw a few notifications, random news reports, and other random things. After scrolling though a few things, he was confused why there were two calls from Kirishima, but ignored it not wanting to deal with that shit.

A few more bangs were heard from the other side before he sighed and answered the repeated noises. "Yeah yeah I'm up! Stop bang on my door, Hag!" He then forced himself to get up and get dressed for the day, only really looking forward to when he'd be able to go back home in a few hours.

Once he was done he walked out of his room and the sound of sizzling with few pops filled his ears, and the smell of greasy meats filled his nose. Bakugo quickly hopped down the stairs to meet the view of his father cooking breakfast in the kitchen and his mother organizing the couch cushions and random throw pillows.

"What the hell? You never take out those things unless people are coming over." Katsuki said confused. "Maybe people are coming over, brat." Mitsuki spit. She was clearly still fired up about the night before, but didn't want to ignite the lowered fire for some reason. 'Did they seriously invite people without telling me?' The youngest in the room thought.

"Relax Dear. And Katsuki," Masaru said. "We only invited a few people. Friends, for a breakfast together. We didn't think you'd mind." He remarked, completely ignoring any chance for his son to give his opinion on the matter. "Tch. Whatever. Just make sure the extras don't bother me." Katsuki knew he couldn't win this, at least for a while, but he also didn't feel like arguing so damn early in the morning.

"When are they getting here?" He asked. "They should get here around 7:30AM" Masaru answered. The room was quiet for once. Small sizzles and pops came from the kitchen, and for once you could actually hear the washer and dryer running from the garage. That was before the typical explosive yelling started again.

"THEN WHY THE HELL AM I UP NOW?! IT ISN'T EVEN SIX IN THE DAMN MORNING YET!" Bakugo yelled. "SHUT UP!" Mitsuki screamed. "WE FIGURED YOU NEED TO DO SOME MORNING TRAINING BRAT!" She added.

The mother and son argued for a few more loud minutes, before Katsuki let out an angry sigh and walked out of the house; of course not without giving both his parents deadly glares as he left out the front door.

Both the parents felt a cold and sinful chill run from the roots of their hair to the balls of their feet when the son glared while leaving, but once the door shut there was a calming aura that replaced the once before tense surroundings. They took a moment to gather themselves, but made their way back to cooking and cleaning for the company which would arrive soon.

---------------------------------------

Katsuki shoved his hands in the pockets of his pants as he walked, muttering angry words under his breath. His eyes were directed at the ground in front of him as he walked, but he still noticed the movements around him. The soft breeze making the small bushes that scattered the neighborhood streets, and some squirrels running on trees or along the paths; most likely collecting walnuts and small fruits for the coming cold seasons.

Oddly enough, seeing the small animals hard at work helped himself calm down. After a short debate in his mind with himself he made a final choice that it would most likely be better to keep going on the walk for a while longer; unsure if his mother had calmed down from the fight. He checked the time, and was a little shocked that he had been walking for almost a full hour.

He glanced up at the sky for a short moment before realizing there wasn't much sun. some birds flew through the sky, a flock of geese and small humming birds flew quickly towards a tree that Bakugo assumed was where their nest was. He realized it was going to rain soon, so he reluctantly forced himself to walk back to his childhood home.

It took about 20 minutes to arrive back, and when he did there was a new car in the drive way. 'Are the people already here?' he thought. A memory of seeing the vehicle before flashed across his mind, but he couldn't remember who owned it. Yet that is...

He had an uneasy feeling turning in his stomach, but brushed it off not wanting to deal with it at the moment. He started walking towards the front door again, but this time his feet felt heavy and worn, like his body didn't want to continue into the house. He knew something was off. Both his body and gut were telling him so, but for some stupid reason he ignored the warnings and pulled the strength he had to walk up and into the house, that being his first mistake.

The second he opened the door he instantly regretted it more than anything he'd probably ever done.A wash of hatred and anger washed clear across his face and his body tensed up, feeling stiff and unmovable for good reasons. He saw the one face he never wanted to see; let alone in his house even if he didn't live there anymore.

Once the people in the room noticed the red eyed blonde boy standing in the door, one person bounced up with a smile spread in his face...

"Hey Bakubro! You're here man!"
