(Twilight's POV)
"Pinkie? Can you hang a little more streamers over that tree over there?" I said happily, looking at my extremely organized check list. It was almost time for the Summer Sun Celebration, and all the ponies of Ponyville were busy preparing for the mass crowds.

"Okie dokie Twilight!" Pinkie said, jumping high up onto the branches of the tree.
"Pinkie I still have absolutely no idea how you are able to to that." I said, studying the pink mare. She just smiled and jumped back down.

"Twilight, I gotta go help Mrs.Cake with the cookies for the celebration. Is it ok if I go?" Pinkie asked, starting to trot away from the council building in the middle of Ponyville.

"Ya, that's fine Pinkie, but just be back soon! Rarity will need some help with the inside of City Hall." I said, tapping the end of my pencil to the paper. I scanned the checklist for a specific box, and then I checked it off. I loved my job of party overseer! It was right up my alley, and everyone seemed to like it as well.

"Hey Twilight, I just finished talking to the weather team, and we are clear skies for the celebration in 3 days." Said Rainbow Dash, making a little loop-de-loop in the air. She could never stand still, that mare.

"Great! Everything is coming together perfectly!" I cried happily, clapping my hooves together. This was the 1002nd anniversary of the Summer Sun Celebration, and I made it my duty to make it as perfect as possible.

"Rainbow, I gotta go help Applejack. Can you make sure everything goes smoothly while I'm gone?" I asked, looking up at the jumpy mare. She looked at me and saluted like a royal guard.

"Sir yes sir!" She said, and she flew off. I smiled, and headed off to Sweet Apple Acres.

(Ty's POV)
I laid on the ground for a few moments, all these emotions whirling in my brain. This couldn't be real. My own friend, betrayed me?
"Seto....why..." I mumbled....looking at my skin. It was starting to grow think, purple scales on it. A tear escaped my eye.
"My friends will think I'm some sort of freak. They will never take me back!" I cried sadly.
Come now Deadlox, we are going to have a kingdom to rule. Won't that be fun? The dragon said in a teasing tone.
"No, I won't let you take over our kingdom, or any kingdom." I said, standing up, looking into the mirror again. A small tear cascaded down my cheek as I saw that even more of my body was being covered in scales. In a matter of moments, I was fully covered in those thick scales. Ugly, ugly scales.

Oh Deadlox, you haven't made this much easier. I guess I will just have to do this myself. The dragon said, and I instantly felt a push right on my heart. A hard push.

"Arrgh!" I yelled as the dragon took over. I fell to my knees for a second, and then I, I mean the dragon, stood up, an evil grin plastered on his face.
"Hear we go Deadlox. Get ready to spread some terror not to only your friends, but an entirely new species." He said, and then he took off into the air, the wind catching under my wings. He looked around for a moment, and flew right towards Sky's Kingdom.
Wait...what?! Entirely new species?! What do you mean?!
"You will find out soon enough boy. For now, be quiet." I obliged.
