Chapter 4

(Jason's POV)
I looked at Ty, who looked so lifeless on those obsidian blocks. His rockstar hair blew slightly into his from the wind being created by the dragon's wings. I actually expected his hand to come up and brush it out of the way, but then my brain realized he wasn't going to be able to do that. I lifted my hand and slowly moved the hair out of his face for him. His head rolled slightly, and I jumped back.
"I-I..." I stuttered in complete shock. This wasn't possible. How could Ty be dead?! I mean literally, dead?! One minute he was as healthy as us, and now he is laying here, on a pile of rocks, dead.
I heard a sniffle come from behind me, and I realized Adam was actually crying. I don't think I ever recall Adam crying before. Wow, this must be bad.
"Adam...remember what we said back there? In the cave?" I asked, choking on half the words. Adam didn't make eye contact. He just stood still, like he were a statue in a city park.
"...yes." He said, walking towards Ty's Headphones. He picked them up and looked at the broken remains. One side was cracked and broken. His eyes grew with even more tears. He looked at me, then the edge of the land we were standing on, and back at the headphones. He stepped towards the edge of the land, and for a moment I actually though he was going to throw them over the side. But he withdrew, and threw them in his bag. He sighed and sat down.
I looked around, trying to find the dragon. Not having Deadlox was going to be a BIG setback to our plan. And I mean, there is no way out other than dying, and I really don't want to take the route Ty did, even though he didn't mean to. I didn't see the Dragon, so I decided to sit next to Adam and reheal. I pulled out some Notch Apples and gave one to Adam. He gingerly looked at it, and then took a small bite. We sat like that for a few moments in utter silence. I broke the silence with a quiet cough.
"So, uh...what do we do now?"
Adam looked at me and sighed.
"We destroyed all the crystals. The dragon can't reheal. It's time for the final actions." He said. I was taken aback.
"How will we kill the dragon without-!" I started to say, but I then felt the silky fabric of Adam's gloves come into contact with my face.
"P-please. Don't say "his" name." Adam said, sounding like he was trying to fight the oncoming emotions. Literally, I think if he even looks over there he will probably have a mental breakdown. I nodded and pulled his hand off my mouth.
"Come on Jason, let's finish this."
(Ty's POV)
The world seemed to fall in slow motion. I remember shooting the last Crystal, and yelling to Adam and Jason that I broke the last one. I then reached down to grab a scrape of the glass for keepsake when I saw a giant, black claw out of the corner of my eye. I flipped my head around just as the Enderdragon's massive paw hit the tower. I suddenly felt the ground under me collapse, and felt as if I were flying. I saw the world falling. Then right before I hit the ground, I remember a voice in my head.
Your friends don't know what they are doing. My master plan isn't just to die, but the place you and I will go will be our new kingdom. Get ready for chaos, Deadlox.
Then I remember hitting the ground. I gave a huge UGH! As what felt like my back shattered into a million pieces. I heard voices, but they sounded distant and echoey, and kind of...foreign.
Then the whole world went dark.
{*BTW that was a flashback from when...Ya...don't kill meh plz*}
(Sky's POV)
I yelled in anger as the dragon lunged at me for what felt like the 200th time.
"Come on Dragon! Give up already!" I said, frustrated. He was on his last hearts of health, and I could tell he was loosing his strength. His lunges weren't as powerful and he couldn't dodge our arrows. But boy, he put up a fight. We lost our Golden Apples over the edge of the world when I got hit with his massive tail and Jason suffered a nasty cut on his arm that really weakened him. He's been resting for a bit while I have been fighting this beast.
"Jason! You ready to fight?!" I yelled, as the dragon tried yet again with his purple magic. I heard a sound come from the base and saw a Jason running out of the camp with a sling on his arm, and something in his hand.
"Shoot this last arrow! Right in the heart!" He yelled, as he threw it. The dragon also saw the arrow and instantly lunged for it, but I was too quick. I snatched it out of the air and with quick aim, pulled the string back and shot. The last few seconds seemed to go in slow-motion. The arrow flew through his scaly chest and right into his heart. The dragon stood still for a second, not realizing what happened, when he let out a scream and the whole world seemed to shake. I fell to my knees, and Jason did the same. We looked at each other and smiled. We had done it. We both looked at the dragon to watch the light show. But I realized there was something off. The dragon was looking right at me. I was confused. Why was he looking at me? I was about to ask Jason why, when I got a mild headache and hear a voice in my head.
Foolish Sky. You don't know what you have just done to your friend, or to an entire dimension. Thanks to your contribution, I'll finally be able to get what I have wanted for the last 500 years. You just cursed your friend's life to a million years worth of chaos. I gasped at the voice, and whipped my head around to Jason. He didn't seem startled. I looked to see what he was looking at and I smiled. The dragon had exploded into thousands of experience points and his egg had appeared. The portal home had opened as well. We looked at eachother and smiled. We walked back to the base and collected our things. Once we were done and had everything, we stepped to the edge of the portal. I was about to jump through when I heard Jason.
"Adam...can I do one thing?" Jason asked. As if I read his mind, I nodded and stepped down towards the crumbled tower. We walked up to where Deadlox's body was. Or, where it was. I was dumbfounded.
"Um...Adam, where is his body?" Jason asked, a perplexed and scared look on his face.
"This is impossible." I said, confused. "Players don't depixelate, and no one else was here with us..." I whispered. Then my eyes grew wide. This suddenly made sense. The voice. I flipped my head towards Jason, my eyes wide with fear.
"Jason, I don't think the dragon is dead yet. I think he is still alive."
Jason looked at me as if I had befriended the squid.
"And I also think he did something with Ty."
Jason fainted.
