Chapter 2
(Ty's POV)
I gave a small gasp as we jumped in on three. I felt my body twist and turn for a moment, as if I was one of those contortionists from the circus, and then felt my feet hit sturdy ground. I looked at Adam and Jason, a smile on my face. We all looked around at the dark, mysterious dimension. The sky was all black, and we were standing on an obsidian platform.
"Hey Jason, can you make a bridge to the main land over there?" I asked, and Jason nodded. He pulled out some dirt from the bag that was on his back, and started placing it in a straight line, over the large void. Jason led the way with his dirt, while me and Adam listened closely for the Dragon. While we listened, I had to keep telling myself not to look down. I had an awful fear of heights, so this wasn't exactly a party for me. We didn't hear anything, at least, noting we didn't want go hear.

As Jason had placed the last block, I gave a little sigh of relief. We were now finally on the edge of the strange, almost sponge like stone, and all we had to do was mine ourselves into it. As Jason and Adam pulled out pick axes to mine, I listened closely for the boss we were going to battle. I listened for a while not hearing a thing, so I turned my attention over to my friends, but only for a second. Luckily though, not all my attention went to them, because I then heard the distant sound of flapping wings.
"GUYS! WE NEED COVER NOW!" I said, pulling out my own pickaxe and helping to mind into the stone. We had cleared out a good chunk of the ground in that short time, and soon it was large enough to fully house us all. While we were getting our final prep going, Jason spoke.
"Do you think we will all make it out alive?"

(PLAY MUSIC I ADDED NOW!)
Adam looked at him and sighed.
"Jason, you know that is a question non of us can answer."
Jason frowned, but nodded and looked at me. I looked back at him, and started to think about all the good times we shared over the last 18 years...
*Flashback*
"Come on Jason!" I yelled, my wood sword in hand. Jason ran behind me, his wood sword in his hand as well.
"Take that creeper!" He yelled, slicing at a tree inside of the young trainees outside yard. Unfortunately, he had missed the tree, and had hit a very young Sky, who hiding behind one of the guards that escorted him practically everywhere.
"Sky, meet Ty and Jason. They will be training with you."
He stepped out from behind the guard and held out his tiny, blocky hand. I grabbed his hand and shook it. Jason just saluted at him, probably out of respect. Even though he was our friend, he still was royalty.
"Um...can I join you two? I'm a pretty good fighter. Carson had been giving me private lessons." He said, pointing to the guard. The guard gave a smile. Adam smiled back and continued, "I could even teach you how to actually hit a creeper!" He said, looking at our wood swords.
Me and Jason smiled at one another, and grabbed Adam's hands.
"Of course silly! C'mon, teach us...!"
*End of Flashback*
I looked at both of them and sighed heavily.
"Adam is right Jason. We know, the recruits know, our friends know. But it's our duty to do this for the kingdom. Remember our pledge?" I said, silently reciting the lyrics in my head.
"We pledge alliance, to our lord, the great one who watches us all. And to the leaders, that selflessly fight, for dignity and freedom for all."
"Your right Ty. Let's do this." Jason said, standing up. He walked outside, with me and Adam following.
"So, uh, how are we suppose to get the dragon down here?" Jason asked Sky, looking at the dark, empty sky. Sky looked over at us, smirked, and said jokingly, "Like this." He than gave the loudest scream we had ever heard. Wow, I thought that was joke. I guess I was wrong, because we got a response back.
"RAWRRRRRR..."
