Tittle: All I ask

Teacher's pet you are, always in first bench
While I sat in last,
Staring at you while you listen to class,
Sketching you while you're noting the points,
Smiling shyly at your sight in ease
Though smiling itself feels so foreign to me.

And that is where I am strange
To like a girl while I am a girl,
It is a mistake, crime, sin,
Breaking the rules to universe
It is wrong to like you.

And it hurts to know who I am,
how different I am,
how unacceptable I am.

So I try to change myself,
To change desperately
I scold myself, hit myself, hurt myself
But 'the end of day' proves me this is what I am
I accept my defect in front of myself.

So i hid then in darkness,
suffocate them in locked room,
preach them what a sin they are
But what hurts is ,
I will be hated if you know who I am.

But at end of day this is what I am! And all I ask is
Give a smile you give a stranger
Not disgust you give a sinner,
Let me have the pride of being
A human if not your lover.
