Kotetsu's POV

Slowly I began to feel my knees begin to buck under me as I continued to run. I found it strange that the road had been blocked with no particular reason, well until Agnes called me. My heart sank as she told all the heroes about a terrorist attack on the silver stage local hospital. Bunny's current hospital! I didn't give her time to finish our assignments before dashing out of my car and down the blocked off road. Bunny needs me, he needed me and I wasn't there for him. What kind of partner am I?

As I stared to slow down the idea of using the hundred power came to me. I would be able to get to Bunny sooner but then if he's stuck I can't use my power after the minute. "Tiger!" I looked to the right of me, someone on a motorcycle was right beside me. "Hope in now!"

I gritted my teeth, it was Miss Chic, Why is a wild card hero here? Swallowing my pride I jumped as the bike slowed down momentarily before it sped back up. "You better be taking me to the hospital?" I warned.

"Of course," she responded. "As soon as you hung up from Agnes I knew I should come to you right away."

"What about -"

"Blue rose and Sky high have been sent to the scene, with any luck they have found Barnaby," miss Chic must have read my mind. "Don't worry, we'll get you there."

I held tighter int he anticipation we would arrive soon. The fear started to sink in. What if the worst has happened? No, don't think that way. The bike came an abrupt stop as we looked in front. My heart sank as I saw the fire growing. "Agnes have you tracked Barnaby?" I heard Miss Chic ask. I saw the flashing on the com bracelet from her left wrist.

"He was in the west wing according to the data, sky high and blue rose haven't found him yet," those words pushed me. I hoped of the bike, dashing for the west wing. He's in there still!

In the heat of the moment I activated my hundred power so I could hear out for Bunny's cries. "Come on," I growled.. "Bunny! Where are you?"

It remained quiet for another 10 seconds before I heard a small faint "Ko-" coming from the left. I dashed over, 40 seconds left! I felt tears prick my eyes, there he was. I immediately ran over to him and started to throw away the debris that fell on him while my power lasted. "Ko-Kotetsu," He whimpered trying to grab me.
I quickly removed another piece, freeing up his legs before leaning down and grabbing his hand. "It's okay baby," I coo'ed. "I got you."

I saw him cry is pain as I tried to throw him over my shoulder. Damnit! I scooped his legs into my arms, carrying him bridal style as we started to make our way. I won't lose anyone else I love! I won't! I refuse.

As we neared the exit another piece of debris fell in front of us blocking the path. "Damn!" I cried out trying to look for another path, my power has run out now so I can't just kick it down. I fell to my knees feeling defeated. Kaede, mom Everyone I've let them down.

Suddenly I felt a wash of cold air against me. Looking up there was ice everywhere, what the- next thing the debris has been broken down into tiny pieces. In front of us stood Blue Rose and Miss Chic. "Quickly," Blue rose ordered as Miss Chis used her Ribbon power to hold back the flames, creating a tunnel.

I rose up holding Bunny tighter as we moved towards the exit. I feel back to my knees as we safely made it to the open, I let the tears that I held back flow. Bunny was still breathing, thank heavens.

The paramedics from the gold stage hospital crowded us and took bunny away from me on a stretcher. "Wait please," I held my mouth as I began to cough. How much smoke have I taken in? I felt someone grabbing my arm trying to ease me up.

"We need to check you out sir," it was a paramedic.

"But Bunny needs me," I coughed harder with each word I spoke.

"I'll go with Barnaby," I looked up to see Miss Chic. "He needs you alive first and foremost. I promise I'll contact you if anything happens."

She leant down to my height. "He's preg-"

"I know," she smiled. "So I'll make sure he knows you're thinking of him and the baby. But you need to recover much quicker so you can be by his side as soon as possible."

The tears continued to fall. She was right and I'm too fearful of what could happen to Bunny that if anything happened to me, he's be under more stress. "But why?" I asked.

"Because I can look after my favourite heroes," she whispered in my ear before dashing to Bunny's side.

"Come sir," the paramedic ushered. "As she says the sooner the better."

I agreed to get into the ambulance that was just behind Bunny's. Please, whoever looks down on us, just let Bunny be okay. For this old mans heart, please down let another person I love be taken away.
