Stupid fire alarm!

So my day has been a roller coaster. I hate roller coasters...
Anyways. So yeah the title may make you think something happened that didn't happen. I mean something happened, but I bet it's different than what you think.
Reader- just tell the damn story!
Me- ok fine! Jeez...

So let's start with-
I'm in pe, the day was going great. I was kinda tired, but I had been hanging out with a few of my friends. I was about to have a Christmas party the next day. Then I decided to play basketball with one of my friends.
After a while of playing I run over to where the ball fell on the ground. It was really close to the wall. When I start to stand up, I don't get very far. See I slammed my head into the fire alarm. (Told you it was different than what you were thinking.)

I collapse and black out for a second or two. I don't know how long, but it wasn't too long. I try to stand and as I do so I feel my head for a bump. Well my hand feels wet when I touch my head. At first I figured it was sweat. Then when I looked at my hand it was blood. A lot of blood. My friend who went to get the teacher is back and the coach takes me to the nurses.

Turns out when I hit my head on the fire alarm, I hit the edge really hard. The edge dug into my scalp and gave me a kinda deep cut. I'm crying in pain and shock, and the first thing the teacher says to me is-"it's a hood thing you aren't panicking, because that's a lot of blood." Which made me want to flip out. I have been touching my head so now my hands are covered in blood.

When I get to the nurses office, there are no nurses there. He tells me to sit down while he gies and finds one. (we have three.) turns out they are all on lunch break. So I have to sit for 10 minutes while a teacher runs to the elementary near by to get a nurse from there, with my head just poring out blood.

When the nurse gets here, he tell me to wash my hands first while he get's the medical stuff out. When i'm done washing my hands I walk back into the room to see gauze and pain medication and a few other things. I hear the coach and him talking saying I might need stitches. I nearly pass out at the thought, and i'm also light headed, very much so. I sit down and he starts to move around my hair. Then the other three nurses walk in and try to help him. I have really think hair ok. So while two of them hold my hair apart the other two put guazes on the cut to try and make it stop bleeding. It eventually stops kinda after about 5 minutes. 5 minutes might not seem like much but when you feel like your about to pass out and you have blood coming out your head it feels like forever. So now that the bleeding has stopped mostly, they decided to look and see if I would need stitches. I don't. Which I'm thankful for.

Now they have to make sure I don't have a concussion. They ask me a bunch of questions, then they do some tests on me. I have a minor concussion. But i'm fine. Concussions can be bad and last for months, others can last for a few hours. That's the difference between minor and major. They gave me an ice pack.

They called my parents and told them what happened. Both were at work and unable to pick me ip for hours. So I got to stay in class. I went to lunch and didn't eat anything, because I felt like I was gonna throw up. Then I went to class. I had to go back to the nurse because my head started to hurt even worse. She gave me some pain medicine, and I went back to class. Then she called me down to the office during homeroom. My dad would be able to get off work in an hour. It was my decision  wether or not to stay at school or not. I decided I wanted to stay I only had 4th hour left. They called my dad and told him. I went to 4th hour which was choir. My favorite class. We were having a party. A winter party. And tryouts for bel canto!
I was glad I stayed because I wanted to tryout. Then I got called to the office. Again. This tike to tell me that my dad was gonna pick me up, just after school so I wouldn't have to ride the bus. I go back to class.

At this point I'm really tired from it all. The pain medicine the bump and the long day. I tried out for bel canto.
This was the best part of my day! I made it into bel canto! This made me so happy.

I went home after that and did homework for 4-5 hours. Not fun. Now I'm writing this. I'm gonna go to bed soon. As soon as I'm dome doing this for tomorrow.

Anyways
Keep shipping on and have a good day or night! And I will see you in the next one my Tortugas!
