Six Months Later

Credence was lying in a hammock on his house's porch, Caoimhe curled up by his side, gazing at the starry night sky. She sighed. "Sure is good to be home." "Sure is good to have you home," Credence said. She smiled. "I heard your patronus changed," she remarked. "What animal did it change into?"

Credence smiled as he pulled out his wand. "Expecto Patronum," he whispered. Out sprang the snow fox, leaping about gracefully. Caoimhe gazed in wonder before pulling out her own wand. Two snow foxes danced in the twilight, one clearly a male and the other a female. "I need to tell you something, Credence," she said slowly. Credence turned to look at her. "That's amazing!" he exclaimed, and she grinned. "Boy or girl?" "No idea yet," she sighed. "But I'd be happy either way." And with that, she drifted off to sleep.
