Jaden's (POV)

I was sitting outside on the porch when (Y/N) came up behind me.

"Hey Jaden. Can I ask you something?" She says almost unsure of herself.

"You can always ask me anything." I tell her.

"What's up?" I ask looking at her seeing a little bit of a worried look in her eyes.

"How did Phoenix get Banished from your Glade? Like did he really set it on FIRE and put everyone in Danger?" She asks me.

I take a deep breath and reply "HYDRO it's a long story."

Jaden's Maze Flashback:

It was a normal day in the Glade I lived in.. Phoenix and I were friends talked all kind of Klunk..

Then one day Phoenix just went Shucking crazy talking about burning the Glade to the ground because according to the runners there was NO WAY OUT of the Maze..

I thought he was talking crazy and didn't think anything more of what he said.. but then.. Jaden says looking out at the shoreline..  Then getting to his feet..

(Y/N) follows him as she hears the next words that come out of his mouth..

(Y/N) he went through with what he said he was going to do.. He set the glade on FIRE.. Phoenix destroyed the only HOME I'd ever known.. my friends ran in fear..
We had NO choice but to banish him."

                      Y/N'S (POV)

I feel myself sad that Jaden lost everything.. I hug him and tell him "Don't worry you've got me. We won't lose each other. I promise."

He smiles at me and kisses my forehead then tells me that it's late and we should get some sleep..

I take the bed again and notice that he's sleeping in the chair again.. I reluctantly sigh and give into sleep..

Hours pass but neither of us hear as someone comes into the hut..

Unaware of the intruder as we are both fast asleep.. until I suddenly feel an intense heat all around me..

I try to figure out what's wrong and it suddenly clicks.. The hut is on FIRE!

The smoke is so thick I almost can't see anything.. when I suddenly feel a pair of rough hands pick me up and drag me out of the hut..

PHOENIX has set Jaden's hut on FIRE.

"Oh don't worry Jaden won't be following us if he wants to protect his precious HYDRO. Same goes for that brother of your's and his friends."

Just before I'm taken away from the hut I hear Jaden say "Phoenix I will come after you that's a promise."

I then hear Phoenix laughs..  "Yes if you survive the FIRE!"

As Phoenix drags me away from the hut I see it almost fully engulfed in flames.. terror swells in my chest as I know Jaden is still trapped in the hut..

I'm terrified of where Phoenix is taking me and I'm also terrified thinking Jaden hasn't survived the FIRE.

As I'm being dragged through the woods I can feel myself getting weaker from the smoke..

I'm hoping Tommy finds me before anything else happens..
