After Sabrina and I spilt up and went our separate ways, I headed towards Petalburg City. Though, I only have one Pokémon and if I want to try and beat the gym leader, I should have another just incase Treecko faints. I really hope that one day I can become the Champion of the Hoenn Region, just like Steven, my father.

"Hey! Luna!" I heard someone call my name. I quickly turned around and saw a guy running towards me and waving. Wait could it be?!

"Jeremy?" I said. The guy stopped and began panting like crazy.

"Yeah." He answered.

"Wait! What are you doing here? Wouldn't you be in Johto at the Pokémon League?" I asked, remembering the last time I saw him.

"Yeah I was, until I defeated the Elite Four and the Champion. Now I'm the Champion of Johto." Jeremy answered.

"Oh congratulations!" I cheered happily.

"Thanks. I also came here to see a couple of friends. Then I saw you walking and called your name." Jeremy explained. I nodded. "So how about we go on a journey together, like how you did with me, along with Aila."

I had a long flashback about the times Aila, Jeremy, and I had when we traveled across the Johto Region together. Sure, I wasn't a true Pokémon trainer yet, but I wanted to get a good experience on what a trainer is.

"Hello! Earth to Luna!" I heard Jeremy mock.

I snapped out of my memories then back to reality. "What? Oh yeah you can join me!" I cheered even though I was confused at first. I wish I was more down to earth instead of having my head stuck in the clouds for all eternity.

"Great. Just one question, who's your starter." Jeremy asked. I grabbed the Pokéball containing Treecko in it out from my light brown tote bag, similar to Sabrina's but mine is slightly bigger. I gently threw the Pokéball and Treecko came out. "Whoa! A Treecko! Hey once it gets stronger, your Treecko and my Larvitar should battle, right Larvitar?"

"Lar!" Jeremy's Larvitar cheered. I let out a small laugh from Larvitar's cuteness. I haven't seen him in a long time and I bet he's way stronger.

"Haha you're so cute!" I happily beamed and patted Larvitar's head.

"Anyways, the first gym I have to go to is Petalburg City's so I'm gonna battle Pokémon, hopefully catch some, and go straight to the gym to show off my new skills." I said with high amount of enthusiasm.

"Haha great! I have high expectations for you! And one day you'll become the Champion of the Hoenn Region just like your father." Jeremy said.

"Thanks! But I'd have to train hard enough to earn all of my badges, then battle him. I really want to show him my skills and that I trained. When that day comes I'll have to focus and have a good team and defeat him." I answered with pride.

"That'll be a long time from now. And your Pokémon isn't going to get any stronger if you just stand there, where their are no Pokémon." Jeremy joked.

"Oh heh heh. Well maybe we should get going! I mean Treecko and I have to train and you can give me tips along the way!" I said. Jeremy answered with an 'okay' then smiled. "Yay! Let's get going." Then the both of us walked off finally heading onto route 101, and eventually find Pokémon and either battle or catch them.
