Chapter Three

An Alien opened the stall door and is looking me up and down. It's small and light green with a giant head but a tiny body. He has four legs and very sharp teeth along with a super long tail that could kill me. I look at him as I hear a furious growl from an adult Alien. I look at the baby who's begging me to pick him up. I carefully pick him up and put him in my bag, not realizing how stupid of a decision that was until later. Thing is, that was a bad idea, I should've left him on the ground so he could run away.

I peek out the stall that I'm in and see that there are other people in here that I've never seen on campus before. There are four men in giant, yellow suits with the Factory logo stickers on them. Which is really just a logo that has a factory on it blowing out rainbows and sunshine when everyone in the universe knows it's a place where magical creatures die. The men have large batons in their hands, zapping the mother Alien with it.

She yells out a deathly scream in anger as she just wants to get her baby. A mother Alien is known to be the most violent Aliens when they can't find their baby. Since she's just an Acid Alien, she's not going to be as intense and determined as an Isolation Alien. An Acid Alien mother will only look for her baby for so long until they give up and mourn. While an Isolation Alien, on the other hand, will not. They'll search far and wide for their baby, and if they can't find it, they'll have more.

I watch as the mother Alien screams louder and picks up one of the men. The man cries, scared as she then tears him in half as the two other men run for their lives. The man's lifeless body is then thrown onto the ground. Blood squirts out of the guts that are all over the floor. My stomach churns and twists into knots. I then take out my phone and tell Ruby to pick me up ASAP before I die. The mother then bends down and drinks his blood, thirsty and trying to regenerate her powers from being hit and electrocuted.

I hurry and shut the door to the stall a little more so no one can notice me watching them do all of this to her. This should be known as Alien Abuse, they aren't supposed to use that type of stuff unless she's killing other people before they start to provoke her.

Within minutes, sixteen other men come into the girls' bathroom and cage the mother, Alien. She whines sadly as they take her out of the restroom and lead her back from wherever she came from.

I have her baby in my backpack, and even though she doesn't know, I'm making a promise to her right now that I'll keep it safe. I promise. As they take her away, I look at the baby Alien who's sad and looking at me nervously. It's almost as if he knows what's going on. I wonder if he knows that they're hurting his mother.

I then feel my cell phone vibrate three times, letting me know that I have a text message. I take it out of my pocket and see that it's Ruby. She's telling me that the doors are open and ready for me to run. I bet that Ruby is freaking out, scared that I'm going to die before she can get to me.

I run out of the bathroom and down the hall to where Mrs. Avernol is waiting for me. I start to go farther down the hall, not seeing her at first. But when I do, I stop running and look at her knowing I'm in big trouble. One, for hiding a baby Alien, and two, for running in the halls without a pass.

"Where do you think, you're going Miss. Norwood? The school is on an immediate lockdown!" Mrs. Avernol asks me, she starts walking towards me with one of her hands in her pocket. I think that she's planning on shooting me. I didn't even know that teachers were allowed to have any sort of weapons on campus.

I feel my neck sweating as I know I'm going to be in jail if she finds out that I have the baby. As she keeps moving towards me, the baby Alien starts moving in my bag, worrying me that she might see that he's there. I stand there not answering as my mouth won't open, no matter how much my brain tells it to speak. I then feel the Alien jump out of my bag and hit the ground with a little plop.

He goes in front of me and starts growling at Mrs. Avernol who reaches in her pocket and takes out a zapper ray-gun, that will make him unable to move for the perfect amount of time for anyone to take it and move him to a sanctuary.

I breathe in petrified as I 've never thought I'd ever be in this kind of situation. This is one of those one in a million chances of happening, and of course, I'm the one out of the millions of people who gets to live through this. I feel like Karma picks me on purpose.

The Alien opens his mouth widely and spits its toxic, acid spit at her. She tries to dodge it but instead, it gets all in her face, and she screams as her grey hair starts disappearing from the acid.

I run up to the Alien and pick it up and put it in my bag as I start to run out the doors before people start coming out to see what's wrong. I run into my ship and take a few breaths as I push specific buttons so it'll go home as quick as it can.

"Whatever is the matter Scarlet? Why would you text me saying that you're about to die? You look fine to me," Ruby asks me as it starts taking me home. I don't want to answer as I just sit there breathing. I try to wrap my head around what just happened. My teacher is probably dead because of me. If I would've just left the Alien alone, he wouldn't be in my backpack, and then he wouldn't have been able to attack my teacher.

"This! He crawled into the stall I was in! They took his mother! I have to protect him!" I say taking the Alien out of my bag and showing it to the computer inside my ship. Ruby gasps loudly, probably thinking that I'm insane.

"Oh dear! We must contact the police immediately!" My ship says as it starts dialing the cops. I cancel it quickly as I'll be in trouble too, not just the Alien.

"No! He's just a baby! He's the best thing that's happened to me this year. I'm going to keep him. He saved me." I say hugging him as I do he squeals and I stop immediately scared of what he will do if I don't. He gets out of my hands and jumps onto the back of my chair. I look at him as he lays down comfortable. I hope he's going to be okay at my house. I hope he doesn't rip things or go crazy. We reach my house, and I take him go inside as my ship automatically turns off.

I get out of the ship and then go inside of my house. As I do, I put the Alien down on the couch so I can think for a couple minutes. He looks at me like I'm stupid and then runs as fast as he can! I run after him and lose him in the process. For his short legs and big head, he sure can run.

This Alien needs a name, so when he does something like this again, I have something to call him, so maybe he'll come back. But what's the perfect name for a Lexnomorphis? What's the ideal name for that kind of Alien? Buddy! I know that's not a usual name for an Alien, but the first ever dog that I got with my aunt was named Buddy. Plus, the Alien is small for now, and he's going to follow me around as if he's my little buddy. That's a perfect name.

I get on my knees and look under my bed to make sure he's not under there. Thankfully, he's not, so I get off my knees and stand up straight again and see that my closet is a tiny bit open. It wasn't like that before, that's probably where he is. I walk over to my closet and open the doors shedding light inside of it. Buddy hisses in anger of the sunlight. I shut the door a little bit to get the sun out of his face. He stops hissing and then looks at me annoyed.

"The closet is off limits Buddy," I tell him as I crouch down and pick him up. He gets angry and jumps out of my hand and goes to my shoulder where he makes himself comfortable. I smile knowing that we're going to get along well. I go to my bed and get my laptop out of my bag and go to the school's newspaper. I set it down on my bed and then I sit down behind it and turn it facing me, and I start reading the newest update. It's a picture of my teacher Mrs. Avernol. Her face is like it was before she got hit with acid. That means they haven't got a new picture of her yet. I bet that she's in the hospital because of the acid. I feel terrible about what happened, but it's not like I can send her a get-well card because she knows that it's my fault it happened to her.

"Mrs. Avernol was attacked by a baby Alien that escaped the lab and is nowhere to be found. The Alien was able to get her off guard and spit its horrible acid on her face. For some who don't know, Acid Aliens have incredibly toxic spit. Unless it genuinely loves its owner, then the owner will be able to be licked and kissed by the Alien.

It then was said that the baby Alien ran outside where the entire police force is trying to find the deadly creature. The creature is about one-foot-tall and has four legs. It's a light green and is highly dangerous. Remember, Acid Aliens, are the second most hazardous Aliens in the universe. The first one is the Isolation Alien who kills all but its owner. The Acid Alien is a loyal but ill-tempered alien." It says I look at the baby Alien who fell asleep on my shoulder snuggled up next to my neck. His face is covered by my hair, and my neck is probably one of the warmest places on my body. He's a pretty smart Alien already.

I smile and shut the laptop and put it on the counter. I hear my stomach growl and look at the clock to see its lunch time. Time flies when you run off from school with an illegal pet. I get off my bed carefully and walk to the kitchen to make lunch. Somehow, he's attached himself to my shoulder, so he doesn't have to worry about falling off. It feels like he's becoming a part of my shoulder, but that's nonsense.

Sorry if it looks weird, this is on my laptop.
