I stayed in my room for hours upset and thinking of ways to look normal. Makeup might work, but then I decided it wouldn't look right and it would be too expensive to buy the right powder for that. Finally, I just decided that nothing would make me look normal. I feel my right arm, and it leaves the goopy stuff on my hand. It looks like silly putty but stickier. I then put my right arm down on the sheets, and it doesn't leave anything. My right arm could be covered by clothing, a long sleeve shirt, and a glove. As I was thinking about this, I got interrupted when I heard a knock on the door.

"Yeah?" I say a little annoyed. I know it can only be Dave, who else is in the house, who wouldn't go through the vent, then come down from the ceiling and greet me?

"Hey, Scarlet. Someone is on the phone for you." Dave tells me. I sigh as I get off the bed and unlock the wooden door and open it.

"Who is it?" I ask as Sebastian shrugs. He answered the phone and didn't know who it was? Why would he do that?

"It is someone who knows you. She's also very interested in you." Sebastian tells me as he gives me the house phone. It is black metal, the dial numbers are bright white and lit up green from the lights below them.

"Hello?" I say as I put the phone up to my right ear. As I say that I hear a Japanese accent, you could never mistake!

"Hello? I am Mineu Yang. I'm a scientist that works with Aliens of all kinds! I was told a lot about you! You see, I'm interested in the Alien that you have. The Acid Alien, right?" Mineu says, my heart starts racing as Mineu Yang is the most famous Alien inspector in the world. She's risked getting eaten alive almost her entire life! When she was just four years old, she found a Water Alien in her pool. Not knowing it was a Water Alien, she thought it was drowning! She jumped into the pool and got the Alien out of the pool to save it. Because of that, the Alien was thankful for her fake courage. As it turned out, the Alien actually saved her from drowning! She and the Alien became friends until one day someone came and killed the Alien while everyone was sleeping in the middle of the night. It turned out that the person cut the Alien's head off. Mineu was devastated by this. The day the Alien was killed, was the day before her sixth birthday. Mineu refused to celebrate her birthday because her Alien, Buremu, wasn't there. The day of her birthday, she mourned over her Alien instead. They buried Buremu, had a funeral, and everything.

Her parents then sold everything they bought her for her birthday, plus more to buy her a new Diversity Alien. They gave her the Diversity Alien months after the other Alien she had was murdered. Once they gave her the Alien, she was immediately in love!

Mineu comes from a wealthy Japanese family who moved from Earth One to Erton when she was two. Planet Erton is where I live, apparently. Ever since that day, Mineu was forever in love with learning about Aliens. The Diversity Alien that she got for her sixth birthday is still alive and well. It lives with Mineu today in her four-story mansion. I think that Mineu is twenty-eight now.

"Yes! I have the Acid Aliens, a baby, and his mother," I say as I hear Mineu start writing something. I can listen to her pen scratching on paper. I begin to feel a little weird because I can't think of anything interesting to write down. I'm an average twenty-year-old girl who got licked by an Acid Alien.

"Huh, okay, well, I was wondering if you wanted to meet with me somewhere? My Alien would love to see your Aliens." Mineu says as I gulp. My heart is pumping faster than it ever has. But I don't want to see anyone because I'm not high in self-esteem right now and I'm still trying to figure out my new body.

"Can we meet later? Like maybe a couple of months from now?" I ask her. Mineu sighs as if I'm supposed to be really excited to meet her. Which, don't get me wrong, I am, I'm thrilled to meet her, but I want to get more comfortable in my new life before just adventuring out there for the world to judge me.

"I want to meet you now, I understand you were attacked, and now your arm is metal of some kind. You can come to my house and then you and I can talk while our Aliens play." Mineu says as I sigh. I don't want to be rude, I have to go, if I don't go, I would be disrespecting her. Doing that could ruin my life.

"Okay, I hope I do not sound rude. Could you send me your address to my car? Then I'll be on my way!" I tell her. Mineu writes some more on paper as I hear her pen scratching away. I wonder if she's writing everything I'm saying. If so, That's kind of weird. I wonder what she needs that for. Of course, before I can even give her my ship number, she answers.

"Sent, and now you're ready for liftoff!" Mineu chirps. I smile as I'm excited to meet someone who's kind of family. My aunt used to know her, and she came over all the time. Of course, I guess that Mineu doesn't remember that. That was a really long time ago.

"Okay, I'll be right there! I'll get dressed and get the Aliens ready." I say excitedly. I hear Minue's pen going crazy. "Excuse me, what are you writing?" I say as the thought of her taking notes on me makes me feel like I'm some kind of experiment.

"I'm just writing down your answers. Since it's required. I don't want you to say something important, and then I don't remember it because I didn't write it down." Mineu says as I nod.

I look towards my left and see my mirror, my eyes are bloodshot, hair's a mess, and makeup is streaming down my face. "I'll see you soon!" Mineu says as she hangs up before I can respond. I put the house phone down on my bed, and then go to my left and get to my dresser. I start to redo my makeup to make sure that I look better than a crying mess.

I got the Aliens in the shuttle, along with myself after explaining to David that I would be gone for a couple days. He didn't like the thought of me randomly leaving but didn't object either. Maybe he's happy for me.

I got directions that were sent, and Ruby drove us the whole way there. Once we get to the mansion, I see that it's painted a grayish blue, there are twenty windows in the front of the house that seem to be covered by shades or curtains.

The front door to the house is white with a doorbell that's shaped like an Alien head. The actual doorbell is inside of the Alien's mouth. Weird that the Alien looks like it's screaming in pain. In the front of her yard, she has a water fountain that's of an Alien jumping up and eating a butterfly. Not my taste in décor, but to each their own. I didn't know that Aliens were even known for eating butterflies.

I get out of the shuttle and pick up Buddy, walking away from the car as I know Orbit will follow behind me. Which she does without even thinking twice. She doesn't seem to mind that I touch her baby and start to take him away from her. I mean, I always give him back, so she must not care anymore.

I hug Buddy, and he hugs me back. His arm isn't long enough to go around my stomach just yet though. If I just wait a year or two, he'll be taller than me, and I'll wonder where the time went.

Once I get to the door I knock once, Buddy hits once, and then Orbit knocks once. As if I was playing the 'copy me' game with them. I guess that they both look up to me or something. Not like I'm that big of a role model since I make up most of my life as I do now. I don't have a schedule since I'm out of school, and I'm practically at the point I want to be in right now.
