Hello. Hi. I guess this is where we start.
The introduction of a person plays an important part.
Just like hello's and goodbye's
A mask we put on to hide a disguise

All you need to know is that I'm just human
A female, a girl for the most part
Who hides herself like a superhuman
Okay that felt dramatic, let me restart

My name is Kathy or Kit, that's fine
My age is unimportant
Because I need to hide between the lines
Of my writings online

If my parents knew my true identity
My true self
I would never be free
My feeling hurt like they never felt

So if you know me, see me
keep your mouth closed
Because I just want to live
Not wanting to be exposed

A small piece of freedom
Comes a long way
Using the book as a museum
As here they shall stay

So join me in my quest of life
As I fight my way through
I'll try to stand tall with strife
Hopefully find something nice and new.
