She didn't like that everyone called her rich and stuck-up.

Her family wasn't exactly rich but they were the at the top of the upper class in her area. They wore the latest fashion and owned the latest technology. They appeared on tv often and attended fancy parties.

What people didn't know about was all the work that was put into it. Her mom was a hardworking doctor, and her dad was a business man. They always donated to others and helped the community.

Now you see why they were
"stuck-up"?

Not really?

Well here's the reason why. Lori was polite to everyone and had a high vocabulary. She was a sort of "teachers pet". She helped others and was nice.

Like everyone else who had those traits she was popular.
