TRIS POV
"I HAD SPILLED COFFEE ON THE LEAD SINGER OF THE WORLD FAMOUS BAND 'DIVERGENT LOVE'!!"
As the others gather around Four, clicking pictures and taking autographs, I stand there, too ashamed to move or say anything. I am not ashamed of the fact that I spilled coffee on him. How could I not recognize him? I have heard his songs, sang his songs but never once thought about looking up the singer of those songs, the man behind that deep and bold voice, the man who could express emotions through songs. Maybe it was due to the fact that I loved the songs and not the singer. It was the meaning of the song and the music that attracted me, not the singer.
Even the song I sang just now was his song. That's when reality hits me, 'I just sang his song in front of him!' A deep voice brings me out of my trance.
"Hey. Tris, is it?" Four asks, stretching his palm out. I nod, placing my hand in his.
"Nice to meet you," he smiles shaking my hand.
"Yeah, you too," I say.
"I must say, you sang my song better than me," he says. I laugh.
"That's impossible. I'm not exaggerating but, no one can sing it better than you."He shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck,
"Maybe you are exaggerating," he says grinning.
"You know, I can argue on this all day, " I laugh. He laughs a deep throaty laugh, bringing a smile to my face. I don't know why, but seeing him laugh, I get the feeling that he doesn't do that very often. Looking around, I see all my friends look at me weirdly while Christina winks at me.
"Well, if you guys are done 'talking' Uriah says wiggling his eyebrows, "are you down for a game of never have I ever?"
"Yeah sure, " Four shrugs, walking over to sit beside Christina. I end up sitting in between Christina and Four.
"Ok, Since it's my party, I go first," Zeke says, his gaze landing on Four. "Never have I ever been famous, " Zeke says grinning as Four and Shauna take a sip. My confusion must be visible, because Four whispers in my ears,
"Shauna was the one who started the band. She is the main guitarist." I nod, passing him a grateful smile.
"Never have I ever been in love," Shauna says as she, Zeke, Uriah, and Marlene take a sip.
"Never have I ever shoplifted," Uriah says, as he and Zeke takes a sip.
"It was a dare," Zeke says, putting his hands up when he realizes that none of us took the shot.
"Never have I ever 'not' had a boyfriend," Christina says, grinning at me. I glare at her and take a shot.
"I had to make you drink," she slurs, low enough so that only I could hear.
"You've NEVER had A BOYFRIEND??" Uriah screams, a little too drunk.
"Umm, that's why I took the shot Uri," I shrug.
"So, who's next," I ask trying to divert the attention from me. Luckily, Uri and all others are too drunk to question me further.
"Why have you never had a boyfriend?" Four asks me. Well, I guess not everyone is too drunk.
"I just didn't. No particular reason," I say shrugging it off. He doesn't seem happy with my answer but decides not to ask more.
The game continues for about half an hour more. Everyone is pretty much wiped out by the end of the game. The only people, not so drunk, are me and Four.
"So, what do you do besides working at the cafe?" Four asks, sitting down next to me. All our friends have passed out and it's just the two of us.
"I also teach at a dance studio with Christina," I say, turning towards him.
"So you're a dancer as well!" he asks, his eyebrows raised, surprise evident in his eyes.
"I wouldn't call myself a dancer. Just a trainer, " I say wrapping my arms around myself.
"Are you cold?" Four asks, shrugging off his jacket.
"No, No. I am good," I say.
"You sure? You could have my jacket if you want, " he offers.
"Yep, positive. I'm fine, " I assure him. We spend the rest of the night talking and just simply enjoying the night. The silence between us was not awkward or weird, it was a calm and comfortable silence...
"Maybe all one can hope is to end up with the right regrets."

Soo, I'm back. Its been exactly one month since I last updated. My Mid-Terms went quite well and I'm free for some time now. I have a WHOLE month vacation coming up in December, so I'll try and update more often. This was kind of a filler chapter. The chapters will become better. Thank you guys sooooo much for your support. I seriously can't believe that I have 1k reads. Let me know what you think about the book so far.
BE BRAVE ♥️♥️
