I'm back faster than I expected. How are you all? Hope you are staying safe. Lots of love to my dear friend kiaravinidatta who turned 18 this week. Without delay, let's jump into the chapter.
HAPPY READING...

TRIS POV

The campsite is an hour and a half away from Chicago. The entire ride, Chris and I spend talking and singing, enjoying the few moments that we get together. I told her all about the week at the cafe, the extra shifts, and the accident with the stranger while she told me all about Will, her store's increasing business, and her new ideas.

"Who all are coming again?" I ask Chris as we are nearing the campsite.

"For the last time Tris, It's mainly you, me, Al, Will, Lynn, Marlene, and Cara. Plus, there is a small chance that Marlene's boyfriend and his friends might also be joining us," she says. I nod, slowing down the car as I see a light in the distance. Nearing the blazing light, I see rows of cars parked one behind the other. Directing my car in between the parked cars, I park more or less close to the area. Stepping out of the car, I pat down my dress and hair.

Dragging myself behind Christina, the people's faces comes into view over the blazing fire. I see Marlene, Al, and Lynn with two other boys that I haven't seen before. Going towards them, Marlene comes up to me.

"Tris, " she screams. "You look gorgeous, honey, " she squeals hugging the life out of me. She is pushed off me by Christina.

"Calm down Mar, you're gonna ruin her make-up, " she says quickly glancing at me. Marlene rolls her eyes before grabbing my arms and pulling me toward the small gang.

"Come on, we have a few new people. Let me introduce you, " she says as we near the group. Lynn gives me a thumbs up and mouths 'All the best' while Al gives me a hug.

"Guys, this is my best friend and co-worker Tris, " she introduces me to the two boys and the girl.

"Tris, this is my boyfriend Uriah, " she says pointing to the tall boy with brown skin and dark eyes. He smiles at me extending his hand towards me.

"So this is the Trissy that I've heard so much about. Every 5 minutes your name comes up in her conversation, " he chuckles wrapping his arms around Mar and giving her a kiss. I laugh, a small blush creeping onto my face.

"Nothing bad, I hope, " I say as Mar rolls her eyes and turns towards me again.

"Don't worry. All good things, all good things. Anyway, this is his elder brother Zeke and his girlfriend, Shauna, " she says pointing to the slightly shorter boy and the girl. They look nothing like brothers apart from their coloring.

I find myself comparing how alike I and Caleb were. He was always the selfless one. He was also the smart one, but he always made time to spend time with me. We were pretty close and shared everything among ourselves. Shaking my head, I try to keep all these memories away for now. I don't want those memories to ruin the night for me or anyone else. I have become good at compartmentalizing all the memories and feelings. Snapping out of my trance, I see seven pairs of eyes looking at me, some in confusion, some in worry.

"Tris, are you okay," Chris asks,  concern filling her words. She is the only one who knows everything about my family and me.

"I'm sorry guys. I just zoned out. I'm fine, " I say smiling at them.

"Ok then. Let's begin the party people, " Christina shrieks grabbing my arms. "Let the fun begin, " Uriah screams making everyone stop what their doing.

As everyone gathers around the fire, Chris grabs my hand.

"Tris, are you okay, " she asks after everyone is ahead of us.

"Did you have a flashback?" she asks concern dripping from her voice.

"Yea, I went back to Caleb, " I say trying to keep my emotions at check.

"Oh Tris. Come here, " she says pulling me onto a hug. I relax in her arms, thankful to have someone who can help. Shaking all bad thoughts away from my head, I focus on the positive.

"Hey, what happened to ruining my make-up, " I laugh pulling away from the hug.

"Wow. Who are you and what have you done to my friend Tris, " she says joining in as we walk towards the group of people gathered around the fire.

After everyone has been introduced, the fun begins. We all gather around singing songs and telling jokes. Uriah and Zeke quickly warm up to our group. They constantly crack jokes, making us laugh our heads off. At first, I was surprised at how Mar is able to bear with Uriah, but as the night went on, I understood.

Even though Uriah may act stupid and dumb, he is really caring and very protective about those he loves. He hasn't taken his eyes off Marlene for more than a minute. Zeke is no less. Being the older one, he is a little bit more mature, just a teeny tiny bit. Otherwise, he is as crazy as Uriah. But you can't help loving them. They have this aura surrounding them that just pulls you towards them.

"Hey Tris, Anyone home?" Uriah pops up in front of me, waving his hands in front of my face.

"Yes Uriah," I laugh.

"Whom were you daydreaming about, huh?" he snickers, wiggling his eyebrows. Sometimes I wonder if he and Chris are related.

"I was thinking about how Marlene is handling you," I smile.

"You have no idea. It's a competition among us on who can be more crazy," he chuckles.

"Anyway, I came here to tell you to sing," he says grabbing my hand.

"Woah, wait wait. Ask who to sing?" I say sitting back down as he pulls me up.

"Your name's Tris isn't it. Mar told me you have a very good voice," he states pulling me to the centre.

"Uriah, I cannot," I grumble, trying to pull my hand away.

"Why can't you. Come on Tris, you can't be that bad. Give it a try. You do have a sweet voice," Uriah keeps persuading me. Finally I give in.

"Ok fine. I'll give it a try," I say as I walk back to the centre. As I see all pairs of eyes waiting for me to begin, I start feeling uncomfortable again. I've never liked being the centre of attraction.

"Now friends, we have our Tris, to sing a small song for us," he cheers, giving me a thumbs up. I smile and close my eyes, taking a deep breath before beginning..

🎵🎶Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the night's so long

'Cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy

Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you

When I look at you, I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone

Yeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you

You appear just like a dream to me
Just like Kaleidoscope colors that
Cover me, all I need
Every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful?
Yeah, yeah, yeah

When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
I look at you

You appear just like a dream to meeee......🎶🎵

As I complete, I notice complete silence. Everyone is staring at me, or something behind me in shock. Well, everyone except Zeke, Uriah and Shauna. Before I can turn around, a familiar voice speaks out.

"That was really nice. You have a really nice voice," a deep voice comes from behind me. Turning around, I face the deepest, darkest, blue eyes I've ever seen. The exact same man on whom I had spilled coffee all over the previous week, now stands before me, leaning against a tree with his hands crossed over his chest.

He is wearing a light grey shirt with a dark black leather jacket and navy blue jeans. The last time, he had his face partially covered, but not this time. His dark brown hair was slightly messy, with the wind gently tousling it. Realizing that I have been staring for way too long, I clear my throat.

"Thank you," I say, a bit too quickly.

"Where did you learn to sing like that?" he enquires coming towards me.

"Umm, I haven't," I say.

"You haven't?" his face scrunches up in confusion.

"I haven't learned music, just dance," I say as he stops in front of me. His confusion quickly morphs into surprise

"You haven't learned music! You are insanely talented," he exclaims. I smile, as I feel the blood rush to my cheeks.

"Am I painted on a wall or something," Uriah asks, running towards us. Before I can say something, Uriah and Zeke tackle the handsome stranger into a hug

"Four, my man. You forgot us, huh? As my brain registered the name, I gasp. 'FOUR!!' I turn to Christina. Her shocked face confirms my doubt.

I HAD SPILLED COFFEE ON THE LEAD SINGER OF THE WORLD FAMOUS BAND 'DIVERGENT LOVE'!!

"I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better."

A pretty long chapter. So Four is famous, I hope that answers your question Fortis_467. Do let me know your thoughts and ideas. The song is 'When I look at you' by Miley Cyrus. I will try to update without much delays.

BE BRAVE ♥️♥️
