The next school morning I found Cleo, Amy and Nick hanging out by the lockers.
I walked up to them with a big smile on my face. "Wow Zoe, you look happy" Amy said. "You bet I am, smartly" I replied. "Smarty?", Amy looked weirded out. I had never called her that before. "What's going on Zoe?" Cleo asked, smiling suspiciously. What? Did I not mention to them that I now had a new basketball player boyfriend?
"I'd like to know aswell", Tabitha came out from behind me, startling me. My big smile disappeared. I had completely forgotten about her.
"Um.......nothing" I said, innocently. Tabitha glared at me and walked away.
"I'll tell you after school" I whispered to Cleo and Amy. They nodded and we went on with the school day. Except it was no longer boring.
