Friends (again)
I don't like people sometimes.
Allow me to introduce my friends(fake names):
Pete - was Wynnie, is now gender fluid/trans
Grace/Jane - discussed earlier(I changed Jane into Grace, they're the same person, sorry)
Laine - discussed
Tommy - discussed
Ashley - quiet, now goes to private school
Samantha - manipulating, diva/drama queen
Twerp - I literally just call him twerp so that's his name here. I believe I mentioned him in the first chapter, he's the one who likes me(why)
Dan - Twerp's friend, goes to all-boys school with twerp, he's pretty cool
Estelle - artist, now goes to 'Quaker school,' quiet but good leader
I think that's it but I might be missing someone. I'll fix it later. Maybe.
Now allow me to introduce my not friends:
Daisy - popular girl, targets me for some reason, I'll get into that in this chapter
Yvonne - diva, general mean girl, targets me because I'm a 'teachers pet'
Grace/Jane - discussed
Samantha - more of a frenemy, see above
Kiara - Samantha's 'sidekick'
Okay, I think that's it.
This is hard to write because I have to keep all their real names straight in my head, so pardon my screw-ups.
Fourth grade: Samantha, Wynnie(identified as female when referred to as Wynnie, fluid as Wyn, and male as Pete), Estelle, Laine, and I were in a sort of 'clique' and since we were all sort of artsy we decided to make some iron-on T-shirts. Wynnie and did designs, Laine and Estelle did the art, Estelle was going to supply the shirts and iron ons since she already had them, and Samantha sat there for twenty minutes watching us before she decided to boss is around because 'we aren't good enough to do it ourselves.'
She made it a 'company' called Sam's Shirts(I changed her name so this is different), told us to change basically everything, and ripped up a drawing I had been working on for 10 minutes because it wasn't what she wanted.
Naturally, Estelle told her off because it had been her(Estelle's) idea in the first place, and I was really upset(I'm not usually good at sketches and it was a good drawing for me at that age) at which point Samantha went to a teacher fake crying and saying we were excluding her, which resulted in us all(except her) missing recess the next day.
After a few similar incidents, we all stopped hanging out with her. To his day, she tells stories to teachers(who know nothing about it) the story of how in fourth grade all her friends dumped her for 'no apparent reason.'
How thick can you get?
I already told you the spiel about Grace and Twerp, so I'll not repeat those.
Sixth grade: About halfway through the year, I think a little more because it wasn't snowing, Wynnie was being bullied by Samantha and Kiara. I'll give you some background information on Wynnie.
1) was born with her intestines screwed up
2) has severe asthma
3) is very sensitive(not to say she isn't badass, she is, she just has certain subjects that shouldn't be pushed)
4) has few friends(according to her, the list is me and Ashley)
5) does fencing
6) goes to therapy
I won't go into details because I'll get super pissed and start cursing all over the place and it's after midnight, but basically Samantha decided to take something I said, twist it on its head, take it out of context, and basically told Wynnie that I hated her and didn't want to be her friend.
She went to the guidance counsellor crying and left school early. The next day the bullying went from just Samantha and Kiara to a large chunk of students.
Naturally, I explained what happened, she decided we were good, and we went to the guidance counsellor about Samantha and Kiara.
As you may know, school guidance counsellors are completely and utterly useless.
She basically took Samantha and Kiara's side for everything, didn't even listen to us, and told us off for blowing a little teasing out of proportion.
Seventh grade: I joined the tennis team that year. On the team were six girls including me: Sara, Francie, Lily, Anna, and Yvonne. The tennis coach happened to be the school photographer/a science teacher who I'd had the year before. I was the only one on the team who had had him in a class, and since I was a bit of a goody-two-shoes, he decided I was trustworthy(more so that the other girls).
He was right. All they ever did was pretend to hit the ball while gossiping, and I was the only one who actually practiced. When it was time to collect the balls and clean up, I was also the only one working.
After a couple weeks of this, the teacher had noticed and was being generally nicer to me than the others. Being the school photographer, he sometimes left us to practice serving while he went to visit other sports practices to take pictures. Every time he was gone, the girls on the team kept talking loudly and very rudely - I won't repeat it- about me and my friends.
I like tennis. It's one of the four sports I actually like.
I never joined the team again after that year.
This year: There's this girl who sits in front of me in ELA, and she's one of the 'popular girls.'
I'm super NOT photogenic, and I hate having my picture taken, especially without my permission.
It's worse if I don't even know it's happening and the photo gets sent to a bunch of other popular girls(all of whom I hate).
That's basically what Daisy does. Every. Freaking. Day. In. English.
My friend called her out on it once and she said 'I was just taking a selfie' but it literally had her forehead and hair and a full-body picture of me doing a worksheet at my desk behind her.
Again, sometimes I hate people.
I think that's everything, if there's something else I'll fix it later(maybe). This took me 2 days to write because I kept getting angry and/or falling asleep because I only ever write at night(I need to stop help). Bye for now!
HAPPY GOBBLE GOBBLE(thanksgiving) to my American readers!
