"You ready?" Haven asked, holding up the bucket. I give her a nod and open the door that led to Sonic's room. Sure enough, Sonic was fast asleep on his bed, just as Haven predicted he would. That's a little creepy that she knew he was taking a nap but then again, they have known each other for a while. Haven already told me what I had to do. See if Sonic was fully asleep and then let her know.

I walk over to Sonic's sleeping form. His chest fell as his soft breath exited his body. Sonic look so peacefully sleeping... His blanket covered only up to his torso, leaving his bare chest exposed. My heart quickened as I neared him. Sonic's eyes are closed and he was completely relaxed. He's asleep alright.

I motioned for Haven to come on in. She walks in holding the bucket full of ice cold water. Oh boy... Sonic is going to kill us for this. Why did I agree to do this? Oh right, I like pulling pranks.

"1..." Haven whispered, a large, evil smirk on her face. "2..."

"3." We said in union. The water splattered all over Sonic and his bed.

"Ah!!!" Sonic shot out of his bed, shivering from the cold. "What in Möubis?!"

Haven fell over laughing. "Oh that's gold!"

I laugh as well. "Enjoy your bath blue boy?" Sonic glares at us.

"Way uncool!" He growled. "What was that for?!"

Haven shrugged. "We wanted to wake you up."

"And shaking me wouldn't have worked?" Sonic asked annoyed. "You guys know I hate water!"

I laughed. "That's why we did it."

Sonic gives me a death glare and a sly smile slides across his face. Uh oh.....

Almost as if someone pulled the trigger of a gun, we take off outside. Me running from Sonic as fast as I can. The sudden felling of adrenalin surged though my body and I almost trip as my speed skyrockets. A green light trails after me as I run.

"Whoa!" A force collided with me for the second time today. Weight pins me to the ground, again for the second time. Emerald eyes lock with silver.

Sonic smirked. "Where do you think your going?" I struggle to get out from under him. But then I stop. My face heats up as I realized that Sonic..... Didn't have a shirt on. I try not to stare at his chest, but ended up doing just that. What can I say? I'm a girl.

"Seeing something you like?" Haven asked, leaning on a tree.

"Hey Haven." Sonic got off of me. I quickly scramble to my feet, swallowing a blush.

"S-so uh...." The ground suddenly seemed interesting to me. Haven just saw a shirtless Sonic on top on me... How embarrassing.

Sonic stretched. "Let's head back. I need to get dressed." Sonic took off at top speed. Me and Haven follow.

"So," Haven keeps up with me in speed. "did you like the view?"

My face lit ablaze. "Wh-what?"

Haven smirked. "Did you like what you saw? You were staring at him."

I look away from her. "I-I was not!"

"Sure you wern't." Haven snickered. I growl and speed up, leaving Haven behind as the world flashes by me.

Rubber burned as I skid to a complete stop in front of Sonic's house. My breaths were heavy and everything swam left and right. I shake my head once my ears start ringing.

"What's wrong?" Sonic asked from the porch, now fully clothed.

I shake my head again. "Nothin', just a little dizzy."

Sonic laughed. "You must be dehydrated. Come in, I'll get ya something."

I follow Sonic inside and sit on the couch. My eyes grow heavy, but I don't mentally feel tired. My leg burned along with my chest but I felt alive. Fresh from my high speed run. Sonic comes back a moment later, holding two water bottles. He passed me one and I drink half of it in one gulp.

"Thanks." I took a deep breath to slow my heart. "I'm staring to feel better."

Sonic took a swig from his water. "You must not be used to breaking sound."

I gave him a puzzled look. "Breaking sound?"

"Yeah, you know. Breaking the sound barrier." Sonic gave me his cheeky smile. "When you ran from me, you broke the sound barrier."

I stare at him in shock. "I-Is that possible?"

Sonic nods. "Yeah, I do it all the time. I have to speed for it. Although, I didn't think anyone except me and Shadow could break sound."

"Shadow?"

"Shadow has the same speed as me. Heck, there are days I wonder if he's faster." Sonic chuckled. "But when we race I win."

"What about Haven?" I ask. "Dosen't she have super speed?"

"Yeah, but she's slightly slower than us. She's never broken sound. Maybe if she pushed herself hard enough she could." Sonic shrugged. "But Haven dosen't have to break sound, she can teleport."

"He's right about that." Haven said from behind us. I jump at her sudden voice.

"Teleport? How does that work?" I asked, tilting my head.

"I don't really know. I just focus on where I want to go and I'm there." Haven jumped over the couch, sitting by me. "I can teleport others with me too. Teleportation is useful."

"Oh, okay then." I lean my back against the warm couch. "Man, being fast enough to break sound? I knew I was fast but sound fast? Not in my dreams!"

Sonic chuckled. "Hard to wrap your head around ain't it?"

I nod, it is hard to believe that your fast as sound, or even faster. Now that I think about it... The tingling feeling I felt earlier, when Sonic was chasing me, and the green streak of light that followed me. Could that be signs that I broke sound? I open my mouth to ask but a knock on the door stops me.

"I'll get it!" Haven zooms to the door and throws it open. Her face lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw the ivory hedgehog standing in the doorway. "Silver!" Haven tackled him to the ground, holding him in a tight hug.

Silver was very unprepared for the attack. "H-Haven!?" Silver gasped, the wind knocked out of him.

Sonic chuckled and leaned on the door frame. "Hey Silv, where ya been?"

"I've... been...."

"Uh... Haven, I think you should let him go." I say pointing at Silver. "He's turning a odd shade of purple."

Haven looked down at Silver and let him go. "Oops! Sorry Silv!" She giggled.

Silver gasped for breath. "I swear Haven, one of these days your going to kill someone just from a hug! You know you have to be gentle."

Haven rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah, responsibility crap and what not."

I laugh at her sarcasm as Silver got off the ground, pulling Haven with him. "In any case, its good to see you again. It's been a while. How was the mission?"

"Mission?" I tilt my head to the side.

"Silver!" Haven slapped the back of his head. "I told you not to say anything!"

"Oops..."

"What mission? For what?" I asked the growling wolf.

"Can't say, top secret." Haven said bluntly.

I look down. "Oh, sorry to bug ya 'bout it..."

Haven offered me a sweet smile. "Its cool. Come on, lets get something to eat. I'm starving!" She walked inside followed by a chuckling Silver.

"I didn't mean to anger her."

"It's alright, she can get a little defensive. Just ignore it." Sonic opened the door. "Now c'mon, lets eat."

I follow him inside. "Can we have burgers?"
