I have a fan girl rant I gotta get out and since none of my friends in real life will understand I'm gonna do it on here.

So I've had a pretty shitty day today (please don't ask because I'm not gonna explain) and I was driving back home from some store with my mom and little sister. I was in a bad mood from everything that's currently going on. But it all changed when I saw one of those road signs with random blinking messages on them. This one in particular said 'Expect Heavy Traffic Saturday'. I didn't think too much of it until I saw where we were though. We were driving right past the arena that Shawn's going to be singing at on Saturday. Now even though I'm sadly not able to go to the concert I'm very happy and grateful to know that he'll be less than 45 minutes away from me on Saturday singing his heart out. For some reason random it totally flipped around my whole mood and I sat in the car smiling like an idiot to myself the rest of the drive home.

It's so funny how whoever you fan girl about can do that. Make you feel so much better just by doing absolutely nothing at all.

Most people that aren't fan girls think we're crazy that we let whom ever that person may be effect us like that but in reality it makes a lot of sense. One of the reasons you fan over that person is typically because you truly feel a connection with them even though they don't know you exist. They can make you smile, laugh, and even cry just by doing the simplest of things or in the case above by doing nothing at all.

So to everyone who calls fangirling dumb and stupid I want you to know that I respect your opinion but I strongly disagree with it. Fangirling can actually save a persons life and give them hope for better brighter days. It can show people to be themselves no matter what other people say or think about them. It can show people to find the best in the darkest times in your life. It can show people to stand up for themselves. And honestly none of that is never a dumb or stupid thing.
