Quite honestly, the world is an extremely corrupted place, where power and persuasion are more important than honesty and equality.

And no one has the ability to stop this, the human race is horrible. Not to say we haven't improved (a little), now most would shudder and wince if they saw someone's limbs being cut off. But all together the human race doesn't do much good for other organisms, they don't even do much good for themselves.

Sadly we might advance to a point where we could travel to another galaxy when earth goes down, only to ruin that planet.

That's beside the point though,(I have a tendency to ramble, my apologies) what I'm trying to say is technology is still a fun thing to have, even if it's pretty bad. And it is extremely useful.

Imagine you and your friend are at your friend's house alone and suddenly your friend starts choking. You need to call 911 fast! But before you can a message pops up saying you haven't payed money to call anyone. And your friend winds up dying a few minutes later.

If you can imagine that, I'm assuming you'd think that's pretty bad, right? Even if that's something you can use freely, there could be something similar to that, that could potentially happen.
