Day 17

In the side room 5 minutes later,

"So why are you two dressed up as a llama?" Brandon asked us curiously. I glanced at Harrison, and he nodded back at me, "Doesn't matter!" we answered, together.
"Aww come on!" Brandon said, "You owe me!" Then he looked at our expressions, "Okay, okay, looking at your faces, I don't think I want to know, but you can at least tell me one thing.."
"What?" I asked.
"Are you guys back together?"

Harrison turned to me, holding his breath. "Are you sure?" he asked me.
"Yes," I nodded, before facing Brandon. "We're back together!" I yelled, before clamping my hand over my mouth, as I realised that there was still a party going on inside. Brandon mouthed, "Yesss!" and pumped his fist in the air.. Is Brandon supposed to be more excited than both Harrison and I? To be honest, I was slightly worried why Harrison wasn't excited too.

Grabbing my hand and running out the side door and down to the beach, I gazed in amazement, as Harrison dragged me down the beach steps. Suddenly, he lunged forwards, picking me up, and swinging me round and round. "HARRY!" I shrieked, through bursts of surprised laughter.

Can I just point out that Harrison doesn't normally go around lifting best friends in the air?! "Well I couldn't show my excitement in there could I?" he gestured towards the building, gently putting me back on the floor again. "And," Harrison continued, "I wanted to surprise you. It was hilarious, you looked really worried when I didn't react," he pulled a face, and I shrieked again.

"Harrison James Kemp, I did not pull a face like that!" I told him, mock-sternly.
"What are you two doing?!" Brandon came up behind us, shaking his head, and jokingly wagging his finger at us. "The good news, " he continued, is that, after much searching, I've found outfits. I don't even want to know why they're sitting there, but there's a dress along with a shirt and trousers, in the room opposite the party."

Leaving Harrison and Brandon, I grabbed the clothes and ran into another room with it. I mean, I feel really sorry for the guy and girl who left their clothes lying around, because I have no idea how they are supposed to go home, now...

As Harrison, Brandon and I entered the ballroom, I gasped. The whole room was alive with people, dancing, talking, laughing. Brandon backed away, leaving Harrison and me alone. "Do you.. Wanna dance?" Harrison asked shyly, and I was about to answer when we were interrupted.

"Is this some sort of joke?!" somebody yelled from across the room to nobody in particular. Literally everyone in the room turned around to look at the person. My eyes widened, as I looked across to see who it was. But that was the thing. I couldn't tell, because there was actually two people. And they were wearing the two-piece llama costume.

I glanced at Harrison, who was stifling his laughter. "This is quite enough!" my father's voice rose from the crowd, "Get off this property now."
"But!" a familiar voice protested. With a gasp, I realised who the people were. It was Harrison's cousin, Natalie, and her so-called boyfriend. Harrison nodded at me. But what were they doing in the llama costume?

"Now!" my father firmly answered, not waiting for Natalie to finish her sentence. He showed them out of the room, and I turned to Harrison, "Bad luck for them, " I said, "Wait are we wearing their clothes?!"
Harrison nodded, "Apparently so." The party began again, and people continued to dance.

Looking at me, then back at the dancefloor, Harrison gave me a bashful smile, and asked, "So are we going to have this dance, or not?" I nodded, taking his hand, as he lead me out to the dancefloor. "But there's one issue, "I told him.
"What?" he asked me, looking concerned.
"I can't dance," I explained. Harrison stifled a laugh. "Harry!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry, sorry, I was just expecting another issue or something," Harrison told me.

I was expecting him to stop, once I had told him that I couldn't dance, however, he continued to lead his way onto the dance floor. "Harrison," I began.
"Yes?"
"But I can't dance! I said!" Harrison stopped when he got to the dancefloor.

"So I'll teach you," he answered, giving me a grin. Why not? I mean, other than my pride I have nothing to lose, right? When the song started, he told me, "Put your hands on my shoulders." Putting his hands around my waist, I could feel a blush rising up from the back of my neck. "Now," he continued, "When I move, you move, okay?"

The song continued, and it was like some sort of magic. I danced, Harrison danced. As I rested my head against his shoulder, he told me, "I'm really glad that we get to dance," and I nodded, genuinely meaning it. I'd liked Harrison for so long, we're finally going out, and it feels amazing.
"At least Natalie didn't see me and you wearing her, and her boyfriend's clothes, from inside that llama costume," I said.
"I don't know whether I should be laughing or horrified," Harrison mused, with a grin on his face. "I mean, why weren't they wearing their clothes?!" I shuddered. "In fact," I continued, "I don't think I want to know.."

Harrison laughed, and I looked up at him, "I really like you Harry," I told him, as we continued to dance. "Hey!" he joked, "That's my line!" He paused for a second, holding my gaze, "No, seriously though, I really like you too."
