Oh, wait! Let's go to the dimensional stairs! Those are fun!

The staircase at the very end of the hall jumps dimensions, so we have to remember which floor we started on and which one we ended on.

...Why?

Well you see, the floor you started on is (obviously) our dimension. Let's say we started here, on the first floor.

If we went to the fifth floor dimension via the dimensional stairway, we'd be on the fifth floor of the fifth floor dimension.

Let's say from the fifth floor of the fifth floor dimension, we go to the third floor of the fifth floor dimension.

From the third floor of the fifth floor dimension, we go to the seventh floor dimension through the dimensional stairway and then back down to what would be our dimension from there.

We'd be in a different dimension and have to do it backwards. It's a little complicated, but we have to do it in the exact order otherwise we'll never get back.

Kinda interesting. Anyway, it should be around the time the really good marketplace down the street is open in the sixth floor dimension, we should get some stuff there and then make our way to the roof to watch the stars.

Because then we'll have snacks.

And everything's better with snacks.
