Alex whimpered quietly, biting her bottom lip.

One may stop and ask the question of what's going on. Well, allow me to explain. It seems that our friends (the countries) had found their way into the wondrous mansion of horrors yet again. As of right now, they had all died. Except for three; Alex, Alfred, and Feli. Though the two siblings currently awaited Feli to reset the time loop, so the Italian currently wasn't present.

Worries began to flood to the two that Feli may have died trying to save them and everyone else. At the thought of this being the true end, for everyone, Alex hands shook. Alfred noticed this and reached over, grabbing her hand and gripping it tightly to ease her nerves. Alex whimpered and moved closer to Alfred, nuzzling into Alfred's side with her head hidden in his shoulder.

CRACK!
CRACK!
CRACK!

The wood of the door began to budge and snap. The end was nearing close, the siblings knew it.

"I love you," Alex whimpered, clinging to Alfred.

Alfred quickly took off his jacket, wrapping it around his sister before hugging her close again.

"I love you too," Alfred mumbled into his sister's hair. "I'm sorry for everything." He added.

"I'm sorry too." Alex sniffled, tears of fear running down her face.

Alfred planted a kiss on the top of his sister's head, pulling her into his lap.

CLANK!

The wood hit the floor, telling the brother and sister their time was up. Telling them that the monster had arrived.
