Just to give you an idea on Kato's backstory.

Kato stares at the snow covered grave. She used the back of her hand to gently brush off the snow so she could read the name on the stone.

Marbella Robbins

Totally random person, right? Well, not to Kato. You see, that was the girl that created the shark demon.

Marbella was such a bright girl, she created Kato when she was about twelve, so Kato ended up raising her a bit. As Marbella grew older, they two became the bestest of friends.

However... Word got out of Marbella's magic... Kato wasn't quick enough to save her. By the time she got to Marbella, she saw the girls body hanging by a rope, as villagers crowded, praying.

She'll never forget the girl, or the one lie she was told.

We're going to be at each other's sides the rest of eternity!

She could still see Marbella's cheerful smile as she replayed those words in her mind.

What a broken promise that was, such empty words...
