Don't Go (Short Story)
Soma stared down at Ciel, shocked. Truthfully, he didn't think the boy would have reacted in such a way. Often times Ciel acted like he wanted Soma to go back to India, but when Soma said he might have to, Ciel instantly clung to him and started crying.
"P-please don't!" Ciel sobbed onto Soma's shoulder.
Soma over came his shock and gently wrapped his arms around the small boy, resting his chin ontop of Ciel's. He didn't say anything, he just held the earl, letting him pour his emotions out. He pulled Ciel closer to him, giving him a smile when the boy looked up at him. Ciel returned the smile, though his lip shook with effort.
"Please don't go," Ciel sniffled. "I need my big brother..."
Soma smiled a bit at that, rubbing Ciel's back.
"Then I'll stay, just for my little brother."
The Indian didn't know if those words were true or not. He really didn't have s choice of his father came and dragged him back. Yet, he still hated to see Ciel so sad.
