Camp (pt. Two)

"Well," Alois said, breaking the silence. "I didn't realize we were there that long."

Doll nodded in agreement. "Four hours is pretty crazy."

"Hard to believe we also missed the whole lunch period," Ciel put in. "We're going to have to hurry to our next activity. What do you guys have?"

"Me and Hope have arts and crafts." Alois replied.

"I got land sports," Doll said. "What about you Smile?"

"Library," Ciel responded. "Probably the most peaceful activity, yet, to get there I must suffer a hike through the woods."

"That's going to be fun," Hope chuckled at him. "Roots to trip over, bugs to eat you alive-"

"Possibility of asthma kicking in and killing me," Ciel added, forcing a big old grin. "Oh, such fun!" He forced a laugh. "At least it'll give me a chance to check how the investigations going on the other end."

Hope nodded. "Hopefully my cousins weren't just twirling their thumbs while we were stuck on the island."

The group of four looked up when the camp director, Tracy Anne, walked in. She was no older then fifty two, and was extremely active and in touch with the modern world. A kind smile was always on her face, and everyone loved her. Yet... Ciel could help but get the feeling the smiling and caring act was actually forced.

"Alright kiddos," Tracy chuckled, ruffling Doll and Ciel's hair. She would have ruffled Hope and Alois' hair too, but they made it very clear in their camp paperwork that they aren't to be touched. Ciel kind of forgot to add that in his paperwork, and he cringed at the hair ruffling, especially seeming he felt it was forced affection. "I know it's nice to talk to the squad when your not trapped on an island, but you do have to get your next activities."

The four nodded and stood, hurrying off to their own activities.

The arts and crafts room was dimly lighted, cold, and had lots of art supplies. So, who else would make a better CIT to run the activity then Gregory Violet?

He was quite for the most part, he'd let the kids to whatever craft they wanted unless they got hurt or didn't clean up their mess, and though he didn't seem like they type that would care, whenever a camper was having a bad day, he'd try his best to cheer them up. And despite his antisocial behavior, he would socialize with campers if he felt they poor kids were sitting in an uncomfortable silence, yet approach with caution at the same time. Needless to say, most of the campers adored him.

He looked up when campers Alois Trancy and Hope Everheart walked in, holding onto each other's hands. Everyone swore those two had a relationship going on behind the scenes, but he didn't see it. They had a type of friendship only those with extremely close friends understand, or had a sibling type relationship with a friend.

"We're part of the group that got trapped on the island..." Alois stated sheepishly, looking down. He squeezed Hope's hand a little tighter, and she moved closer to him.

Gregory chuckled a bit to himself. He had already heard. Though he didn't seem like he listened when Redmond talked, he did. And his story at lunch today was about his poor cousin getting stuck on the island.

"I heard," he told them, then smiled a bit. "Don't just stand there, come doodle or something. We got plenty of activities to do."

Hope smiled a bit and tugged Alois over to a table, Alois following close behind her.
