Your head was throbbing in pain. Your eyes were closed, and you could only see darkness, but you didn't want to open your eyes. It felt as if nausea would hit if you opened your eyes, so you didn't. Then, slowly, your senses returned to you, and you felt something soft underneath and around you. Your hand was being held gently and close to the person's face since you could feel a wave of heat every few seconds on your knuckles. Beside you, the person groaned, and you could hear their deep voice. 

   ' I need to see. '

As easy as possible, you opened your eyes, and the dark ceiling met your gaze. Hesitantly you sat up on the bed and looked around the dark room. You knew you were in a bed, but when you looked down at the sheets, they were colored black; even the comforter was black. There was a giant window on one side of the room, looking out at the world, but there were no neighbors or signs of life nearby. 

Your head turned toward the person beside you, and you recognized the man in milliseconds. His skin had gotten slightly paler, but there was no mistaking his blue hair.

   " Ciel. . ."

Ciel was holding your hand within his, close to his lips, where your hand felt the warm breath so often. Instantly, you reached over and placed your hand on his shoulder to shake the man awake. You shook him gently, and he opened his eyes, revealing his blue orb in one eye and his other eye, which held a contract with his butler, Sebastian Michaelis. 

   " Y/n, you're awake. "

Ciel's voice was deep from waking up, and his tone wasn't firm. Ciel rose and sat on the bed before bringing you into a hug. His left hand was behind your head, pushing your face over his shoulder, while his other hand rested on the side of your waist, where his arm kept you close to his body. 

   " I didn't know when you would wake up, so I stayed with you. I'm glad to see you awake, my lady. "

   " Ciel, where are we? This isn't the Trancy Manor, nor your room in the Phantomhive Manor. "

He didn't move or speak for a moment, but he eventually pulled away from your body, keeping his arms entangled around you. His forehead rested against yours, and his neutral expression remained on his face.

   " We are done with the Trancys. They are no longer our problem, and will never be the cause of trouble for us any more. "

   " But what happened? "

Then, it was when you noticed a red tint in Ciel's eyes. You saw the red pigment because you were so close, and when he pulled entirely away from you, the red tint disappeared. Ciel's expression remained the same and did not change when he told you the news.

   " I proclaimed that Sebastian was my butler forevermore and that I demand he eat my soul right away, or he shall remain my butler. But that Trancy took over my body and made a deal with Hannah. Hannah turned me into a demon so that when Sebastian won Sebastian could suffer forever. "

Ciel's eyes changed from purple and blue to red, just like Sebastian's. However, the color change was brief, and his eyes soon turned back into their regular colors.

   " But Trancy is gone, with all of his servants. "

There was only one question on your mind now, and you didn't know how he would answer, making you anxious.

   " So, what happens now? "

Ciel took a moment to think before responding to your question, and when he did, he took your hands within his.

   " Now, I plan to travel. I have given the Phantomhive Company to Tanaka and my estate. To everyone, Ciel Phantomhive died, leaving his belongings behind for Tanaka to control. Sebastian is forever tied to me because he cannot eat my soul. "

   " I see. "

It felt like you were out of place. Two demons were traveling together with no time to worry about. You, however, had companies, hospitals, and time to worry about, for you were not immortal and still bound to the earth. 

   " I brought you with me because I did not want to leave you behind. I've already left you once, and I never planned to leave you a second time. But I would be grateful if you could come with me on my adventures. "

   " Ciel, I'm not immortal. I have things I cannot leave behind--"

   " You will one day. In the future, you'll leave everything behind at some point. Right now, it would be just skipping a step, and we could be together with nothing holding us back--"

Ciel's face got closer, and one of his hands traveled to your cheek, caressing your face gently as if you were so precious you would break at his touch. 

   " --with no interruptions. "

   " Ciel. . . My parents--"

   " Already approved of our marriage when they saw the papers I sent to your father. They will miss you, but think of yourself, not others. "

Ciel's face was too close to yours. His breath was fanning your lips, and you could feel your heart pounding against your chest. You felt like you couldn't think, but you knew the decision in the end if you thought of yourself and not others. 

The distance between you and Ciel was closed by your body leaning forward and connecting his lips with yours. Ciel's eyes closed immediately, and he kissed you back, savoring the taste of your lips against his. The hand holding your cheek went to the back of your head, and he pulled on your waist, bringing you closer to him. His lips were stuck to yours, but he would let his lips leave yours for a millisecond to take in air before letting his lips reconnect with yours. Every kiss was the same, but every kiss set off fireworks. 

Ciel leaned back and pulled you with him, keeping your lips connected with his. Your hands landed beside his head when Ciel's back hit the sheets. Your lips disconnected as his head hit the pillow, and you hovered above him. Ciel's hands rested on your body, still, unmoving. Both of your breaths were ragged, and your chest rose and fell quickly to process air entering your lungs. Ciel smiled up at you, and his hand behind your head shifted back to your cheek, where he rubbed the skin on your cheek with his thumb. Instead of looking up into E/c eyes, Ciel looked into eyes of red, with tingles of pink in them.

   " Now, you'll forever be, my lady. "
