Shinsou was ambushed by the Bakusquad. First he wanted to go to his room and the thing he knew he was taken to a cafe. He tried to say no but the Bakusquad is infamous in their ability of not taking no for an answer. So there he was, holding his coffee while their leader begins to speak.

"You know you're so fucking hard headed it pisses me off."

"Bakugo!" Chastised Mina.

"What?! It's true isn't it? Damn extras..." Bakugo retorted before drinking his coffee. "Look I'll keep it short. We know you like Yumi so why are you being a coward about it?"

Shinsou tightened his grip on his coffee, finding the table as the most interesting place to look at right now. "Why do you say that?"

Sero passed him the camera where Shinsou could see the pictures the Bakusquad took. There were pictures of Yumi napping on him, him napping on Yumi, and moments when the pair were absolutely blushing. Shinsou couldn't help but be a little surprised to see Yumi blushing around him. Did she feel something too?

Shinsou laid his head on the table, cooling off his brain that was on overload at the moment. If Yumi was blushing, didn't that mean she at least found him sort of attractive? Or was that just wishful thinking?

"Earth to Shinsou? Hellooooo?" Said Kaminari as he waved his hand around Shinsou's face. He snapped back to reality and put his other thoughts on hold. "So do you like her or what?" Asked Kaminari.

Shinsou let out a heavy sigh before nodding yes. The bakusquad cheered, minus Bakugo who told them to shut up. Eventually Kirishima asked why Shinsou never asked her out. Shinsou sighed before briefly explaining that Yumi told him since they were younger that she never wanted to date. She never wanted to deal with a mate. Meaning Shinsou would never have a chance.

Mina looked at him confused before saying "But I'm pretty sure she likes you too." Shinsou nearly dropped his coffee after hearing that.

"Yeah like today when you didn't wanna fight with her she got so confused and asked the girls for help! She said she should have been happy that you were quiet but she wasn't. It's like she wants your attention but she doesn't know any other way of getting it except for fighting. I don't even think she understands that she likes you. Just give her time Shinsou, she'll realize it soon so you can ask her out! This whole 'will they won't they' stuff is eating me up!! I gotta know if she says yes!!!"

The group agreed with thumbs up and fists in the air. Shinsou felt a warm feeling in his chest. Did he actually have a shot at asking out Yumi? The sides of his lips formed into a small smile, imagining a life where he and Yumi don't have to fight to get each other's attention.
