The next few days were confusing to Yumi. Shinsou wasn't his usual self. I mean he was himself but, more to himself. Without him making the first insult, Yumi couldn't bicker with him anymore. It's as if the moments they fought were good memories for her. She missed arguing with him.

Today she said "Good morning hurricane hair."

And all he said was "Morning."

What?

She waited but no other remark came. She even held her breath when she saw a stray cat. Strays were always a way for Shinsou to make a good comeback.

The cat walked, and walked, and eventually disappeared from their point of view. Nothing. Shinsou said nothing. Yumi was getting worried. He was never this quiet, even on his bad days. Even the day a girl full on rejected him he at least still had a catty attitude.

"Shinsou? Everything okay?" Yumi asked hesitantly.

He stopped in his tracks. Yumi stopped too, wondering what was causing him so much distress. He looked to be fighting with hinself when he turned to face her.

"Why do we fight so much?"

Yumi was taken aback. She thought the answer was simple. Because they hate each other right? Right? And yet, Yumi was unable to give him an answer. He sighed and pushed his hair back with his hand, a little frustrated at her lack of an answer.

He kept walking ahead, leaving Yumi behind in bewilderment. It should have been such an easy answer. They hate each other. They have since they were kids. Hearing him be so quiet should have been a relief to her; but instead it just made her worry. When he ignored her insults and arguments, it didn't make her more mad. It made her scared. Why was she scared of Shinsou ignoring her?

She made it to class a few minutes before the bell rang, slowly finding her seat. This morning through her through a loop, leaving her senses a bit more sensitive since she was on edge. Mina and the girls sat close to Yumi, making Yumi jump at their closeness.

"You okay Yumi?" Asked Tsu.

"Y-yeah, sorry my morning was just a little weird. So what's up?"

"What we wanna know, is why haven't you and Shinsou started dating yet?" Asked Mina, as blunt as ever. Yumi choked on the juice she drinking, not sure how to answer that.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"

"Girl we totally saw you and Shinsou cuddle for most of the field trip!" Said Hagakure, followed by a squeal of joy.

"T-that was circumstantial. Trust me, we hate each other in real life."

"Why do you hate each other?" Asked Ochako. Yumi again was baffled. Her old answer of what Shinsou said as a child seems so trivial now. There should be a better reason as to why they always bicker. But what is the reason?

"I....I don't know." Yumi sighed in defeat. She laid her head on her desk, her arms covering her head. The girls also looked a little lost for words. Yumi was never one to doubt herself. She learned to put on a good face no matter how bleak things seem.

"He ignored me today. I should have been happy he shut up...but I wasn't happy." Mumbled Yumi, not knowing what else to do with her feeling but give them to her friends so they can help decipher it.

Tsu was about to say something when Aizawa sensei appeared. The girls hurried back to their desks as class started.

After classes the students head to the dorms. Shinsou was heading to his room when he felt eyes on him. He turned around to see the Bakusquad approaching him.

"What is it?" He said.

Kirishima put a hand on his shoulder and said "let's have a talk."
