Today was the day of the field trip, and everyone hopped onto the bus. Yumi ran a little late because she overslept from a nap. She ran towards the bus only to see most of the seats taken. Her friends had no empty seats and neither did Kirishima, her guy friend. The only seats available were next to Mineta (which will maybe actually make you have a hairball in disgust), and Shinsou. You sigh in defeat as you sit next to Shinsou.

"Miss me that much?" He said with sarcasm.

"No I'd just rather not be groped by the grape predator over there." Shinsou let out a chuckle, genuinly amused by her description. Yumi couldn't help but blush a little. She never heard him laugh around her. And now, it's surprisingly calming. She shook anymore thoughts from her head as the bus started moving.

"Alright kids," started Aizawa. "The trip is pretty far so after a bit we'll stop for a bathroom break and snacks. You only get 20 minutes and we're back on the bus. You take 21 minutes, you'll be stranded there."

"That's kinda harsh" whispered Kaminari as he charged Kirishima's phone.

After riding for an hour and a half, Yumi fell asleep. Shinsou didn't really seem to care until the bus turned left and she slid closer to him, her head on his shoulder. He turned to look at her and saw her fluffy tail resting on her lap. He looked at her face and saw her sleeping face was so peaceful. No snippy comebacks, no sarcasm, just genuine peace. He couldn't help but blush when Yumi unknowingly nudged her head closer to him. He hesitantly laid a hand on her head. He lightly ruffled her hair, brushing lightly against her ears. She started to purr a little, making Shinsou blush even more. He lightly grapsed one ear and rolled it around his fingers, feeling how soft the fur was on it. She let out a small noise, one of enjoyment of the feeling. Shinsou slowly kept playing with her ears, her occassionaly giving a soft mewl of appreciation. This sweet moment did not go unnoticed though as Kirishima slyly took a picture of them. He smiled to himself before hiding it away.

The bus slowed to a stop as the bus parked close to a small convenience store. Aizawa stood up and started to bark out orders.

"Alright everyone!" He started. Yumi sat up quickly when she heard his voice, her nap cut short. Shinsou felt a little cold without her on his shoulder, but he remained silent. He just silently watched as she fixed her hair and listened to Aizawa sensei's instruction.

"We're at the halfway point of the trip so we're stopping for a bathroom break and snacks. Like I said you have 20 minutes. Any longer and you will be left behind. Now go." The kids hopped off the bus one by one as they head into the store for snacks and a very much needed bathroom break.
