I walk through the forest with the tall green trees giving me cool shade from the hot sun. I made sure to pick up some flowers and herbs as I made my way through the woods. Soon enough I hear the sounds of people talking and children's laughter carried by the wind. A village must be up ahead. I put my hood over my head to hide my face and (h/c) hair that was laid on my shoulder braided tied at the ends by a dark blue-purplish ribbon. They remind of his eyes. Howzer... I still think of him. I wonder how he's grown?

I smile to myself as I made my way out of the forest and into the town. I adjust my gloves as I take in the liveliness of this lovely town. So much life and the streets are covered in dirty gray cobblestones. Shops and trading stands along the streets covered with all sorts of colors and variety of different cultural items. I watch a few kids chase each other reminding me of my time as a castle maid. Veronica. Margaret.

"Elizabeth! Why don't we go look for more things for the Boar Hat," A small squeaky voice said as I turn over my shoulder holding my hood close to my face to see a pig and a beautiful young woman of a slender yet curvaceous figure and regular height. She has very pale skin, large light blue eyes and shimmering silver hair that was as long as down to her waist.

As soon as I caught glimpse of the girl my heart stopped. I felt my heart ache and tighten making me grab onto my chest forming hands into a fist. I held my composure to keep myself from crying. Once I got a better look at her as I pull off to the side to hide I knew that my eyes didn't defy me.

I went through the alley and jump from the ground to the top of the roof of a building following the pig and Elizabeth.

[Meliodas POV]

I wandered around the forest hunting down some food to cook for the tavern. Elizabeth and Hawk should be back soon so I guess I should be heading back as well. I carried a lot of fish and some wild animals over my shoulder making my way back.

"Meliodas!~" I heard a familiar female's voice across from me. I look up to see Elizabeth waving to me.

"Yo!~ Elizabeth!~" I waved back smiling brightly at her as the sun made her beauty glow. She has grown into such a strong and lovely woman.

"Did you enjoy going into town?"

"Oh yes! It was very lively today and we got extras from the nice people," she smiled at me with closed eyes as the wind caressed her hair as it sways in the wind.

I smiled back at her but something moving in the bushes caught my eyes. I pulled Elizabeth behind me and held onto my sword's green hilt. 

"Come out! I can see you!"

The figure quickly hid behind the tree making me run after it.

"Hawk! Watch over Elizabeth for me!"

"Don't tell me what to do!" he spouted snorting as he stood in front of her defensively.

"Sir Meliodas! What's wrong?!"

But before I could answer her I run over to the shadowy figure quickly and appeared in front of them.

"Hey there! Who are you? Don't you know it's not nice to snoop?" I place my hand on my hips as the person backed up against the tree but saw them reach for something behind them.

I took my broken blade at them making them jump a little in surprise as they raised their hands in hopes that the flowers in their hands would defend them.

"Wait! I...I am sorry!" I heard a female voice come from the person in front of me.

She held a small bouquet of wildflowers.

"Please don't hurt me! I just... I just wanted to see if I could talk to Elizabeth!"

"How do you know Elizabeth?" This raised suspicion.

"I used to be a maid for the royal family but I was banished from entering the castle," the woman begged making me sigh as I smiled in relief.

"Sure thing! But first, you should remove that hood over yours!" I quickly grabbed her hood and took it off her revealing her (s/c) skin, glowing (e/c) eyes and braided (h/c) hair with loose (h/c) strands.

She looks up at me and it hit me. I knew this girl!

"Haha... long time no see my lord Meliodas..." she stated smiling nervously rubbing the back of her neck.

"(y/n)?! Wow is that you?!" I was surprised to see her as a grown woman. She has really changed. She's less chubby.

(Kbell: RUDE!

Meliodas: What?! I am being honest!

Kbell: *sighs* Jeez whatever just say sorry later

Meliodas: Sure... *pouts a little*)

"Yep..." she smiles to me standing up straight as I put my sword away. I grab her arm and lead her over to Elizabeth and Hawk. The moment Elizabeth caught sight of us she took a moment to let this moment sink in as her eyes widened.

We stood in front of them pushing (y/n) towards Elizabeth.

[(y/n) POV]

My heart was racing with excitement but slightly anxious. I smile at her nervously handing out the wildflower bouquet as the sun shines brightly down on us. Her beautiful light sky blue eyes glow in delight as tears flow down her cheek. She places a hand over her mouth as she tried to hold back her cries.

"(y/n)?" she asked as her voice quivers.

I laugh smiling brightly to her.

"Aw don't cry, my princess. Your beautiful face will be ruined hehe~"

She quickly runs over to me and hugs me tightly wrapping her slender arms around my neck as I hug her back.

"Welcome back, (y/n)!~" She cried happily.
