And So the Real Adventure Begins
At some point that night, Law carried you back to his room to sleep in the bigger bed. It wasn't until after spending a few hours in your room having very loud, rough sex. You were grateful for getting on a contraceptive after your first few times with him. Condoms worked just fine but nothing beat lovemaking without having to deal with them.
He took you for multiple rounds in every way he could think of. He started by flipping you onto your belly on the small mattress and taking you from behind and then bending you over the bed afterwards. He fucked you against the wall, in the shower (originally in a failed attempt to get clean), and then even on the floor. By the time his insane libido had been tamed, you were ready to pass out. It was an amazing night to be sure, but you lacked the stamina to keep up.
You vaguely remember being carried down the hall to his room and being placed in bed carefully. Law purred sweet things into your ear until you gave into sleep, holding on to him tightly the entire time.
The next day you woke up sore and bruised. You ached from your thighs where he gripped you tightly to your wrists where he pinned you and everything in between. You were glad he was in somewhat similar shape, with lovebites decorating his neck that matched your own and claw marks covering his chest and back. Not to mention the cut on his lip from where you bit him. Though the crew didn't have to see the marks and how you limped to know what happened the night before. Your room was right across the hall from the men's and they heard much more than they had ever bargained for.
Law asked for a couple days before telling you the details of his life that led to him wanting Doflamingo dead, but he told you that day. After giving the crew a few lazy orders and coming back to bed with food, he filled you in. Explaining the death of his family, his fatal sickness, and his time with the Donquixote brothers wasn't easy for him. It was even harder when he detailed the death of Rosinante, the younger of the two brothers and the man he grew to respect.
It all made so much sense when he finished. And while talking about it was rough on Law, he seemed relieved to have it off his chest in the end. After taking some time to relax and enjoy each other's company, you two got to tweaking his plan. He'd stick with the idea of getting the shichibukai title and help you get into Impel Down. But instead of heading straight into a fight or toppling Doflamingo's assets in his own kingdom, he'd take down the man's scientist, a man named Caesar Clown. With him in hand, Law would be able to destroy a factory he oversaw that contributed to much of Doflamingo's business and be able to barter him back to Doflamingo for the small price of him giving up his title.
With that, he'd be an easy target to kill for Marines and pirates he'd been doing business with alike. Law wouldn't have to actually fight him and while it was still dangerous, it was the much safer option. Best of all, you would be included in the plan if you could improve your fighting abilities enough. He'd let you come along to capture Caesar as back up but you had to be able to take Bepo down in a sparring match to prove you could take care of yourself. It sounded easy enough. If you could kick enough ass to get a 300,000,000 Berri bounty, you could take Bepo on.
Once the crew was filled in on the new plan, things started getting put into motion. The ship stayed above water whenever possible in an attempt to run into other pirates more easily. The idea was that the crew would take any they came across without killing them and then let your captain use his devil fruit powers to take their hearts and send them on their way. Law had decided that the best way to become a shichibukai was to offer the hearts of 100 pirates along with an official application for the position. It was a little morbid, but effective in catching the attention of the Marines. After all, it would take a considerable amount of skill to hold so many pirates captive. Any man who could do that would have a good chance of earning such a title.
With the ship riding above the waves more often than not, you also had more time to properly spar with Bepo. Each day you spent on deck with him, the easier it got. Your body slowly remembered the movements and you found yourself fighting in ways you never thought you could. While Bepo tended to fight head on, you had an easier time using your small size to help duck, dodge, and work around him, aiming for unprotected areas with frightening speed and accuracy. It wasn't long until he was struggling to keep up with you.
Finally, the day came around when you could beat the bear. He lay sprawled out on the ground, fighting to catch his breath as you stood above him triumphantly. Law watched from a distance with a satisfied smirk plastered across his face.
"I-I'm sorry captain. I tried my best." Bepo puffed.
"It's fine Bepo-ya, she's too stubborn to beat."
"You're damn right!" You giggled and let yourself fall to the deck and lean against the bear's belly.
After spending so much intimate time with Law, it was easier to be touchy with the rest of the crew. They knew you were their Captain's girlfriend so they kept it friendly and you had few problems with it anymore. Bepo, being a mink, was by far the best with it. He had zero interest in you as a woman so you treated him more like your gay best friend.
Both of you stayed put, even after catching your breath. Getting off your feet for a short moment felt great and when Law joined you to lean into his navigator, getting up no longer became a necessity. Not if he was taking a break with you. Bepo didn't mind, he was accustomed to Law using him like a pillow so adding you to it was no big deal.
"We can now safely say you are one of the strongest members of my crew (Y/n)-ya." Law ruffled your hair affectionately. "Good job training her up Bepo-ya."
"No problem Captain."
"So we just wait to come across another pirate ship then? I figured we would have found one by now. It's been a few weeks..." You trailed off as you searched the horizon.
"It's harder to come by other ships in this part of the new world. Less pirates are strong enough to make it this far." Law replied, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
"You know what'd be great?" You beamed at him. "If we ran into the Kid Pirates and got to take their hearts."
"That would be great." He agreed. "But the chances of that are slim to none."
"Yeah....what about if we just went to a pirate friendly port? Wait for a ship to set sail and follow it out to quiet waters. It'd be a bit easier than hoping to stumble across another ship."
Law drummed his fingers across your shoulder thoughtfully. "Bepo, are we close to any ports like that?"
"I don't think so Captain but we can set course for one. We could reach a port in a few days or less."
"Let's do that. Just sailing to one can give us better odds."
"Yes Captain!" Bepo scrambled to his feet, leaving you and Law to sit on the deck alone as he headed inside to change the ship's course.
----
Two days passed and sure enough, you were close enough to an island port that you caught sight of another pirate ship. The Jolly Roger was one you were unfamiliar with but the ship was big enough that it had to have the right amount of pirates. Law wanted 100 and this one looked perfect. A one stop shop.
"Law!" You yelled, getting his attention from across the deck. "We've struck gold!"
He turned to Penguin who was just talking with him a second ago and said something. Penguin ran inside, probably to get the crew together for the upcoming fight and Law joined you at the railing. The other ship was far off but not too far that they couldn't have spotted the Polar Tang.
"Good." He broke into a wide smile. "It's about time you had practice in a real fight."
Just as you thought, they spotted the submarine and turned the ship to face it. They were raring for a fight.
"Sounds like fun to me." Your heart was already picking up speed and you were bouncing on your heels, ready to get into the thick of things.
"Follow orders this time (Y/n)-ya, I need you to keep close to either Bepo or me in case things get a little hectic."
"Okay Captain." You said in a playful tone, earning a kiss from him
"You guys are gross." Penguin said behind you. He was back on deck, Law's sword in hand, with the rest of the crew gathering.
"You're just jealous." You said.
"Doesn't mean you aren't gross." He handed the captain his sword as he made faces at you.
The enemy pirate ship was almost upon the smaller submarine. You could see and hear the other pirates as they prepared for a battle they didn't know they were going to undoubtedly lose. So you didn't pay too much attention to their sneers and vulgar comments they shouted in your direction. They seemed like the kind of men that didn't really need their hearts. It was nice knowing they'd go to a good cause.
They were too dumb to realize that by not running away, Law and the rest of the crew were not only willing to fight, but were more than able to take them out. As soon as they were close enough, Law gave the command.
"Take them down, keep them alive!"
Just like that everyone jumped on board the enemy ship. The vast majority of the Heart Pirates knew hand to hand combat and those that didn't stuck to using mechanics tools and knives to incapacitate those they came across as they stormed the deck. You grimaced as you watched Ikkaku slam a heavy looking wrench against a man's jaw, sending him flying across the deck. Hopefully that didn't kill him.
Another large pirate lunged at you with his sword drawn. You sidestepped and kicked him into the railing, watching his head hit the wood and knock him out. That was too simple. The next one you locked eyes with was more careful, keeping you from getting around him with a whip in hand. He was too focused on you though, completely missing Bepo who got behind him and gave him a swift chop on the back of the neck. His eyes rolled up and he crumbled down to the floorboards.
For the first time, you'd remembered your Captain's orders and chose to listen to them. You stuck by Bepo for the remainder of the scuffle. The two of you were an unstoppable team, taking down pirates left and right. The only "mistake" you really made was when you sent one guy overboard with a hard kick to the chest. You hoped he made it back on deck at some point but you couldn't be sure.
Law took out at least half of the ship by himself. As soon as everyone jumped on deck, he created his operating room with his devil fruit powers and cut apart the enemy pirates so they couldn't move. There was no blood or pain, just the sudden separation of limbs from bodies followed by the frightened screams of those affected by it, unable to fight back.
All in all, it was quick, finishing almost as soon as it had started. The opposing crew settled into cries and sobs as those who were still conscious begged to be left alone. Even if they were a bunch of cut throat pirates, it was hard to listen to. Sure they weren't going to die today, but their hearts were going to a bunch of marines and that alone would seal their fates.
While Law got to work collecting hearts you went around making sure no one on your side got hurt too badly. Besides a few cuts, scrapes, and bruises, everyone got away without anything major.
"(Y/n)-ya." Law got your attention as he threw a still beating heart into a crate. "If everyone is fine, take Shachi and Penguin with you below decks and check for any treasure or money."
"Sure thing!" You looked around to see both of the mentioned crew mates already making their way to you having heard their Captain's orders.
They trotted down the stairs leading below the ship's deck behind you cheerily. Nothing beat a good treasure hunt. You checked each room, pulling out drawers, moving furniture, flipping mattresses, until you'd collected a good sum of money. Both the boys were giddy with excitement, pillowcases used as improvised bags thrown over their shoulders and full of gold, jewels, and loose cash. It was definitely a good haul from a bunch of no name pirates.
You made sure to double check everything in case you'd missed anything as Penguin and Shachi trailed behind, talking about all the stuff they'd buy later. There was one door you didn't open. It was at the far end of a hallway, blending in with the surrounding wall. It probably didn't hold anything important but it wouldn't hurt to look.
"Hold on guys, we've got one last place to check." You giggled at them as they bumped each other around, nodding along so you'd know they were still listening as they goofed off.
You didn't hear the sounds of someone shuffling around behind the door over your friends chatting away. As soon as you turned the handle, it flung open as a giant, muscular man threw himself at you. A yelp escaped you as he tackled you to the ground, straddling you as he slashed down with a knife. You raised an arm fast enough that it took the hit, cutting from your wrist to your elbow in one clean motion.
You kneed his backside, sending him lurching forward so your fist could connect with his cheek. It wasn't enough to knock him out, but it definitely left him disoriented long enough for Shachi to come in, swinging his bag forward and sending the pirate flying back off of you with it.
"(Y/n)! Are you okay?" Penguin dropped the bag he was carrying and worried over you, checking your face and then noticing the blood quickly saturating your shirt from the long cut on your arm. "Ohhh shit captain isn't going to like that."
"It's fine." You winced as the wound started to throb. "Shachi, is he out?"
"Y-yeah." He glanced at the bleeding wound. "We should really get you to captain so he can stop the bleeding."
"It's not as bad as it looks." You pursed your lips, not excited for how much Law was going to chew you out for not being more observant of your surroundings. You got up, Penguin hovering over you just in case. "Let's get the haul up to him and let him know about our friend down here."
"Hey (Y/n)," Shachi started. "do you think Captain will still let us have a cut of this?"
You laughed, wiping some of the blood away and headed up the nearby stairs. "I like where your priorities are at."
"So is that a yes or no?"
