Jangmi

We all ran to the parking lot. Jimin, Yoongi and I got in the car while Da Hee and Taehyung got in theirs along with Hara because she insisted to come. Taehyung asked Shirae to go home. Everyone was panicking and only Hara couldn't understand the situation. Yoongi drove to Seokjin's restaurant as fast as he could.

I cried quietly. Is that just an accident? Did they do this on purpose? Is he okay? Did they do anything to him? Is he hurt?

"Everything will be okay." Jimin reached for my shoulder. I touched his hand and turned to him.

"That... that restaurant is his life. It's his dream. One time a customer accused his restaurant of having a pest on his food, he almost got depressed because they were investigated. He thought he's gonna lose his business."

"But he had it back, right?"

"Yes. The customer was proven guilty for putting the pest on the food then accusing someone else."

"And if he succeeded before, he can do it again." Yoongi looked to me. "Everything is going to be fine."

If he succeeded before, he can do it again. Everything will be okay. Everything will be alright. It will, right?

I have to calm myself.

"...G-Gomawo." I told them before sitting properly. We were able to reach the restaurant faster and as soon as we arrived, we saw a lot of people gathered in front of the restaurant.

"Jangmi!" Haejoo unnie ran towards me. We hugged each other and all of a sudden she started to break down which frightened me.

Haejoo unnie isn't the type to be this emotional. There are a lot of worse things that happened before too but she never seemed to look panicked as how she is now.

"He's still inside."

I looked at the restaurant in horror.

Andwae...

"Move aside move aside!" A guy in a rescue uniform shouted. He leads the way for a group of other rescuers who are carrying an emergency stretcher. And it's Seokjin oppa who is lying on it.

He has blood on his face, on his arm. He's unconscious.

The crowd walked near towards the ambulance to see him while others helped some of the injured people from the restaurant. We were alone on our place now and that's when I thought I was gonna faint.

My knees got weak so I used Haejoo unnie as support. She got shocked at my expression and turned around just to see her boyfriend being brought in the ambulance. She ran towards him and pleaded them to go with him to the hospital.

My energy has left me. I don't know what to do. Where is omma and appa?

"Jangmi unnie." Da Hee walked in front of me and held my arms. "Breathe. Follow what I will say. Inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale."

Despite of my shaky breath I did as I was told. Yoongi handed me a bottle of water and I hurried to drink it.

"We're not alone." Jimin murmured. We all looked at him while he quietly watched the alley behind us.

I looked behind him. What does he mean?

"We're not alone." He repeated and turned to us. "Run."

"Jangmi!"

Our heads turned towards appa who is standing from a distance. For a moment I was able to calm myself not until Da Hee screamed and all of a sudden a group of men had surrounded us already. Jimin and Yoongi began to fight others and I immediately pushed Da Hee away.

"Unnie! Who are they??"

"The cause of this disaster." I said before fighting the guy who was about to attack Da Hee. I punched him and kicked him thrice and he collapsed on the ground. I grabbed Da Hee's wrist.

"We have to get you out of here before they- ah!"

"Kim Jangmi!"

My sight went dizzy. Someone had hit me from behind. Where's... Da Hee?

"Da Hee! Andwae!"

Before I was able to bring Da Hee to a safe place, my body refused to move a muscle and I already collapsed on the ground.

Please, Jangmi... you can't be unconscious. You can't. Y-You...

Third Person

"Where is Taehyung??" Jimin shouted.

"I don't know! When did he- Kim Jangmi!"

"Da Hee! Andwae!"

The two used all their strength to fight the remaining enemies until they finally succeeded. But they failed to save the two from them. The car drove away, taking Da Hee and Jangmi.

"Fuck! Get in the car." Yoongi shouted. Quickly they followed the car. Jimin who sat at the back took the bag where Yoongi hid his weapons. He handed Yoongi what he will need and got some for himself.

"Are we going to be criminals again?" Jimin asked and loaded his guns.

"I'll do whatever it takes Jimin. I can't lose her."

Jimin stared at his gun.

He never killed someone before and he knew he already quitted in living a messy life like this. He swore to himself that he'll do anything to get away from any kind of chaos.

"I can't lose her either."

"KIM TAEHYUNG WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?"

"To Jungkook you pabo!"

"You'll tell him what happened today?"

"I need to ask him why he asked Mason and Lilac to burn noona's restaurant down."

"Isn't that a part of the plan??"

"No! That's why I need to go there. To talk to him face to face."

Taehyung's hands were shaking and he felt his heart beating fast. Hara bit her lip. She's not sure if doing that is a good idea. They are Jungkook's best friends. But now she's hesitating about him. Thinking that he really did order Lilac and Mason to burn some other person's property.

They arrived at Jungkook's mansion. Not the one where he hides Mason and Lilac but his real mansion where he lives with his parents. Taehyung and Hara barged inside and they were surprised to see a half-asleep Jungkook rubbing his tummy and walking out from the kitchen. He's wearing a cute panda onesie.

"Oh. Hyung! Noona!" His face brightened. Taehyung and Hara looked at each other.

"What were you doing all day?" Hara asked in confusion.

"Stayed in my room and slept?"

"Jungkook, I already told you to be careful to what to order Mason and Lilac! The restaurant of Jangmi noona's brother is on fire!"

Jungkook stood still on his place. Looking at them innocently.

"What fire?"

Taehyung had his eyes widened. "You didn't know?"

Everyone went silent for a moment. That's when Jungkook realized what was going on. He remembered now.

"Fuck!" Jungkook ran to his room and the two followed him. He quickly took his phone.

"Tell us what's happening." Hara sat on his bed.

"I told them to do something to scare Jangmi noona and Yoongi hyung but I guess they really are dumbasses aren't they?"

"Scaring and attacking are two different things." Taehyung slapped his forehead. "What do we do now?"

"I'll call Mason. And go along with what he did. I'll tell him he did a great job then... I'll just call you for updates."

He contacted Mason and the guy answered immediately. Excitedly reporting to his boss about what they did. Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair and sighed heavily.

"I'm on my way. Make sure no one else sees those two."

[Yes boss!]

He ended the call and headed to his closet.

"They kidnapped Jangmi noona and... Da Hee noona."

"I knew it." Taehyung panicked. "I left her with Jimin earlier!"

"This will be our plan." He hurriedly took some clothes and faced them. "They kidnapped two. This might be the best time to call the police and corner those two along with their group."

"We will call the police then." Hara nodded once.

"Arasso. Wait for me downstairs. And oh I have banana milk in case you want some."

"I want." Hara rushed downstairs and Taehyung followed. Jungkook went on to dress like the gangster he is in front of the group's eyes. Hoping that everything would go well.

Here it goes. My own plan for Min Yoongi.

"Officer! Help my daughter. Jebal!"

"Please calm down, ahjumma." The chief told Ye Sook, Jangmi's mother. Her husband, Hanri, helped her sit at the corner.

"I-I lost my daughter." Ye Sook hardly spoke. Her lips are shaking and her breathing turned very bad. "I lost her before and I lost her again. Earlier. I saw. Sh-She..."

She wasn't able to finish her sentence and now she is totally out of control. She covered her face with her hands and sobbed.

"And..." She struggled to continue. "My son, h-he's in a critical condition."

"Ye Sook-ah." Hanri held her shoulders and kneeled before her. "They will help us. Don't lose hope, jebal."

"I don't know what to do." She whispered in fear.

"Ahjumma." Chief Taehoo started talking. "I know it's hard. But the only way to solve all these is calm down and tell us everything you saw."

Hanri faced the chief. "My daughter was taken away."

"Taken away?"

"A tall girl had hit her with wood. She collapsed..."

The unbearable pain is painted all over his face that no one could not see it. But he just took deep breaths to regain strength.

"...w-with her friend. And... and they were both taken away."

Chief Taehoo sighed in frustration. "Kidnapped, ahjussi?"

Hanri nodded slowly.

The chief knew it will be a more difficult case. He knows about Jangmi's case when she went missing and now that she's gone again, it's definitely going to be a bigger issue. Especially the fact that the police department weren't able to interview Jangmi properly about what happened to her when she's gone. No details about her loss. No traces about suspects. No ways to seek a clear answer. Nothing except for the body of Jae Eun.

"Thank god Park Jimin and Min Yoongi were there to follow them but still... I know it will not be enough. W-What if they get hurt too?"

Chief Taehoo stood frozen on his place.

"I saw them do their best to fight the bad guys and they did succeed. But they couldn't rescue Jangmi and her friend immediately so they just tailed the car."

Hanri sighed, worried about her daughter, along with her three friends. He got too occupied that he failed to notice the bothered look on the chief's face.

Chief Taehoo's eyebrows furrowed. He shifted his gaze towards the old man. "Can you please repeat those names, ahjussi?"

Hanri returned the confused look to him but answered anyway. "Park Jimin. Min Yoongi."

I heard those names before. He told to himself. The list of wanted names are given to every police department and if I'm not mistaken... the whole team discussed the name Min Yoongi. Just like this girl, he was also reported missing by his family members. Then other reports from civilians followed, saying that they saw him with a suspicious gang.

Chief Taehoo excused himself for a minute and walked a few distance away from the aged couple. He took his handheld transceiver from his pocket and contacted the police department.

[Yes, chief?]

"Quickly, scan the wanted list. Look for the names Park Jimin and Min Yoongi. I repeat, scan the wanted list and look for the names Park Jimin and Min Yoongi."

[Roger that. I'll see what I can get.]

I don't know much about Park Jimin but for Min Yoongi, if I'm not mistaken, he is in the list for two reasons. One, being missing. And two, one of the unofficial suspects for numerous unsolved cases.

He watched the couple. Hanri is doing his best to comfort his afraid wife. He turned to look at the restaurant. It was now out of fire. He looked behind him. There were men lying unconscious on the ground.

If that Min Yoongi guy is really written on the list, it'll become three reasons.

The line suddenly went distorted. And then there was the voice of the officer from the other line.

[Chief Taehoo?]

"Listening."

[I found it.]

Chief Taehoo looked at the unconscious men one more time.

Third reason, he's a suspect for this disaster. Not only him, but both of them.

Sigh.

I don't get it. If they're on the wanted list, why would they fight these bad guys? If they are in the wanted list, why are they being thanked by that couple?

Perhaps... there is another gang involved?

"Chief, I got a call." A policeman who is in charge of staying in the car and waiting for emergency updates ran towards him. "A civilian reported something about two missing girls."

"Yes, their daughter was kidnapped along with a friend." Chief Taehoo referred to the couple.

"He said he knows where they will be heading to."

He knew? Is this some kind of a plan?

"Then we should go." Chief Taehoo demanded. The policeman turned around and quickly called the others.

"You still there?" The chief operated the handheld transceiver once again.

[Yes chief. What should we do?]

"Print out the pictures of those two. Gather everyone and tell them about this mission." He took a deep breath.

"We know just where to find them. Look out, they are our first suspects."
