Today, I woke and immediately wondered what the heck I was thinking yesterday, committing to writing a brand new story to completion by September.

After all, there are several other projects I'd like to work on. My zombie story, sequels to existing stories, ONC and so much more. Yet, none of these are inspiring at the moment. For whatever reason, writing a story for the Wattys is.

Yes, I have two other stories that already qualifies for the Wattys. I'll clean them up a bit more but then I'm starting to write.

Today, I've settled on a Scrivener template. 

I've also decided on the story I'm going to write: The Departure Protocol.

TDP is a story I began to write for NaNoWriMo 2009 (!) but never finished. It's really more than just one story, but the first in a series that could span half a dozen stories or more. Time will tell where inspiration takes me, I suppose.

For now, look forward to the cover reveal, probably later today. It's all done, I just need to write up the synopsis.
