Get this: I actually helped in the lab today! I know right?! No, I'm not kidding. I literally helped today! Yesterday, I went home when it got late and Undyne was heading upstairs to her apartment/room. I took my pills (she's been making sure to remind me CONSTANTLY) so I slept pretty good all night, and when I woke up I already had a text from Undyne and Sans. Sans' said that he would be home Monday (today is Saturday), and that he loves me a lot. I said I love him too and to make sure to beat Al in their mock battle. Undyne texted good morning and asked if I'd like to help in the lab today. I agreed to it and she said she'd be waiting. I got out of bed and changed back into my normal hoodie. After making sure my bones didn't stink I teleported over. She was doing an expirement involving science, chemicals, and a little white dog. Why the dog? I have no idea. But don't worry, she does not harm animals, monsters, or humans in any of her experiments. She could never bring herself to do that. Anyways, I put my hands on her sides and was pretty damn sure that if I hadn't held onto her she would have jumped through the ceiling. I couldn't help but laugh. I mean, it's funny when you startle someone, but to startle Undyne? Priceless. Anyhoo, she squeaked in surprise and scolded me through stammers afterwards. I apologized, but it didn't really have an effect when mixed with the crap eating grin on my face. When she huffed and crossed her arms, I told her that I really didn't mean to scare her, but just to say hi. She still doesn't believe me, so I nuzzled her neck a little with my face, feeling her barely noticeable gills against my cheek bones. She nearly melted at that, slumping her shoulders and muttering "fine". I half expected her to say "what a world, what a world!" I smirked but didn't move away even after my apology was accepted, I was too wrapped up in the cool touch of her cold blooded scales, the hint of dew on grass from Waterfall, the faint earthy snow smell from Snowdin, a slight scent of heat from Hotlands. I 'nose' what those smell like.. Together, it smelled like her.. masked over with the watery salt smell that she usually had. Instead of moving, I mumbled to her and asked what we were doing today. I caught a glimpse of a smile when I peeked an eye socket open, trying to listen while she explained. She wanted to clone the dog and use that formula to clone the human souls we currently have, because Toriel doesn't like killing humans. I personally don't mind. Usually. Anyways, halfway through her explanation on how it would work, I dozed off, too comfortable against her. Literally against her. There was no space between our bodies. I could tell she took notice of that. But she didn't move away, didn't seem uncomfortable. Blushed furiously, but otherwise.. I would say she didn't want me to move. I think she felt as right as I am left. Wait, what? Well, eventually she heard me snore and slowly woke me up, laughing at the gurgled "But Sans.. it's too early..". When I couldn't process where I was or why I was hugging her from behind, she turned enough to kiss my cheek softly and whisper: "Good morning, sleepy head.". Damn. Shit. Fuck. Oh stars. Cheezus Rice. I usually try not to swear, especially around Sans, but I guess no one is reading my journal soo.. I couldn't handle that, even if I just smiled at her sleepily. That was.. it wasn't even sexual or flirty. Just a teasing greeting. My soul erupted in flames. Spontaneously combusted. If I was standing in front of her, it would have slapped me in the face. I'm glad my chest was to her back, my soul appeared behind us. I could feel it's aura, so powerful from the emotion that had been newly introduced to me, even more than the glimpses that I had caught before. Love. Not levels of execution. Actual love. That was the craziest thing I'd even experienced. So much of it that I felt what Chara must feel like when they.. Yeah. Anyways, I smiled at her, asked how she was. She said good. Asked how I was. I said good. Then she asked if I was ready to experiment. I asked what she meant. She told me I had come over to help her work. I blinked a few times before It clicked. Feeling like crap, I apologized frantically, pulling back a little and she laughed, placing her hands on mine so I wouldn't move. She told me not to let go yet. I was silent for a moment, but complied, sliding my hands back to her abdomen. Nuzzled against her shoulder. She smiled softly and leaned back against me. I relaxed. She closed her eyes. I've never seen her like this before. So comfortable and at peace. Blushing still (I was too), but not trembling, stammering, wringing her hands. Just relaxed. I wanted this so badly, even if I didn't realize it till now. And I had it. Had her. My soul listened for once when I made it disappear, lively with happiness and from the moment I shared with Undyne. Pure bliss. Eventually I asked her to re-explain her plan. She did. I guess this entry is getting pretty long.. I'll start a new one.
