A Mathematics Question Paper
Oh dear, Amn't I dreaded. I cannot explain how students stare at me like awestruck chickens. And throughout the test, their expression keeps changing like: Stunt. Serious. Earnest. Droopy. Relaxed. Sleepy. Confused. Pain stricken. Almost crying.
Then comes the torture . Real cruel torments. They slash at me, throw me in crumbles, fold me at uncomfortable angles. One child even burnt me out and dissolved my ashes in his goldfish bowl. Harsh.
I am aware I'm am not famous or wanted but so many people kill time thinking about me before the test that I actually blush. I wonder how many things have existed in this universe that can make pretty girls fidget with their hair, bite their nails and can bring tears to their eyes, just by letting them have a quick glimpse. Sometimes it is really difficult to agree to the terms that 2 cows will eat the grass of a 100 hectare wide field in few days or a 345 litre tank will fill in 1 hour, but I have to bear with that.
All thanks to the teachers who makes me. I particularly remember one of them who used to create papers for standard nine. I don't know why, but even the best of students couldn't pass in her papers. Once she had left, and I had had a look at the book she was referring to. In bold letters it was grandly printed- "Mathematics - For Class Twelve".
