Recap: Anika return home and wait for Ishwar

Ishwar sat on the floor watching Anika sleep. He couldn't avert his gaze from her and pecked her forehead gently without disturbing her sleep. He tuck the strand of hair that was disturbing her beautiful sleep and a smile appeared on his face when he saw her smile to his touch. Early in the morning he got ready and left the room not before placing a kiss on her cheek.

Morning Anika woke up and saw the sun rays falling over her face and got up immediately. She saw the time was 10 in the morning and got down from the bed and searched for Ishwar in the room, washroom and balcony. When he was not there she quickly reached the living and saw Nancy all ready for office along with Jerry.

Nancy smiled at her and hugged her but stopped on seeing her worried face.

Nan: what happened Ana, why are you worried ?

Ani: Ishwar...he didn't come at night...Did you see him ?

Jer: What??? We thought he has returned. Infact we did not knock on your room thinking you both would be spending time together.

Ani: I waited for him but I don't know when I slept and I just woke up. He is not in the room.

Jerry called the security and got to know that Ishwar returned home last night and left early in the morning. Hearing the information Anika cried hugging Nancy.

Ani: Is he avoiding me Nanu ? Is he angry on me for leaving him ? Is he not happy for my return ?

Nan: Ana, stop overthinking. He would be the first person to be happy on seeing you back. 

Jer: Ana, I told you already give him some time. He will sure come to you and explain everything. He is working on something and that involves you for sure. But doon't ask me about it. I m not the right person to explain you that. You do trust him and his love right ?

Ani: I trust him more than I trust myself. I love him that I can't even think of a moment without him.

Nan: Then stop crying and give him some time and also be prepared to accept everything he does for you. If you have any problem then be ready to question him. You have all rights to pull his ear to listen to you. Only you have rights on him.

Jer: Nancy stay home with Anika. I will go to office and check on boss.

Ani: shall I come to office ?

Jer: No Ana, not today. Just relax and wait for him.

Ishwar placed the chocolates on Anika's desk and sat in his seat remembering her face from the morning.

Ish: My baby has become so weak in a few days. Don't worry once I fix everything then I will get your old self back. She must be awake by this time.

He took out his mobile and checked if she left any messages for him and felt disappointed. When Jerry arrived at office Ishwar was in a meeting and waited for it to get over. Ishwar entered his room after the meeting and Jerry followed him.

Ishwar knew the reason behind Jerry's presence still stayed quite and waited for him to start the conversation. Jerry cleared his throat and sat opposite to him.

Jer: Can I speak to my friend Ishwar for sometime ?

Ish: I was always but it was you who saw me as your boss always. Now tell me what my friend wants to speak after so many years ?

Jer: why did you not speak to Anika. We all know she is not at fault on whatever happened. Infact she had every right to leave you even after knowing the truth. At the same time we knew she would definitely come back once her anger subsides. Now she is here and is ready to fix everything, why can't you talk to her ? It was suppose to be you the one who has to apologoze her and fix things but you are doing the opposite and making her cry again. I know you are doing something this time even I m not completely aware of your actions recently. What are you up to? 

Ish: Do you think I m not happy for her return and I m hurting her again ?

Jer: I know you are happy but why are you hurting her ? If you are my boss, friend, brother then she is my little sister. I can't see her hurting everytime.

Ish: Jerry, I m still the same mafia man, the reason she left me. She loves me a lot and decided to come back to me though I broke her heart hiding my identity, even if she is scared of the bitter truth that I kill people like hobby. Don't you think your little sister deserves more ? I know she is very innocent and pure that I don't deserve her but I love her that I m too selfish to let her go from my life. 

Jer: If you can't let her go then why don't you talk to her and accept her ?

Ish: If she is ready to give up her fear for a man like me, if she is ready to accept me even after she was fed a false accusation on me that I killed her father then don't you think that I need to do what she deserves ? I want to become the man she deserves Jerry. You know that will not happen over night.

Jer: So what are you planning ?

Ish: I want to come clean out of everything and before that I need to make sure my Anika is safe forever. Valery......Valery has to die for that...We have washed out his clan completely. Left his Valery alone...I m waiting for my final fight with him and then I will feel worthy of myself for her.

Jer: so why can't you tell her everything and then fix everything.

Ish: I feel guilty and ashamed for putting her through all these things. Deep down there was no other option still I can't face her before I complete everything.

Jer: I understand but think of her. She is becoming weak without you. Just look at her once then I m damn sure everything will be fixed.

Ish: I can't Jerry...Understand....She is my strength as well weakness. If I see her face to face then I might lose myself in her eyes and I don't want to stop myself from killing Valery. He has to die for us to be happy in our life until then we have to be like this. Its not easy for me to have her around me and stay away from her. 

Jer: I still request you to think again...I will go on hunting Valery if that is what you want..

Ish: This is my war for my love. I will do it and please stay away from this. I did not involve you because I don't want Nancy to suffer like Anika. Boris is working for me and you stay out of this.

Jer: Ishwar....

Ish: Jerryyyyy....

Ish: Sorry boss...I will take my leave.. best of luck for your war.

Jerry left the room and Ishwar rubbed his temples and reached the terrace with cigarettes in his hand. He started smoking until the packet was empty.

Nancy took lunch to Anika's room and saw her sitting in the balcony asleep on the couch. She woke her and wiped her eyes.

Nan: Ana, nothing will change if you keep crying. Now finish your lunch.

Nancy started feeding her and Ana laid her head on Nancy's lap without speaking a word.

Ani: what did he do in my absence Nanu ?

Nan: He was living like a beast and emotionless. Everyone was scared to death to face him. He fired atleast 50 employees this week. He never cared to eat or sleep. When he stayed sleepless for the continuous 48 hours I had no other way and gave him sleeping pill. He barely ate once a day. Only good thing happened is he won the president election of Association of builders and contractors. Again something happened that day at the venue. I saw him leaving the place in rage and he was completely dishelved. I never asked Jerry or Ishwar about it but it was the same day he got into accident.

Ani: I m so cruel Nanu. I feel ashamed on myself for leaving him like this. He suffered so much because of me. He will not forgive me Nanu..

Nan: Stop it Ana. If he suffered then what about you ? I know you would have been the same state as him. Its not time for blaming on your own self but have patience and handle everything maturely. 

Ani: Life has taught me so many things in all these years and I promise Nanu, I will solve everything. 

Nan: Thats my Ana...now don't let me lecture you from begining so stop wearing these hoodies and dress up.

Ani: He likes me in anything I wear.

Nan: Ohh, ok ok..Now sleep, look at your face with dark circles. 

Nancy waited until Anika fell asleep and left her room and prayed for the couple to get back together.

A/N:

So now you all got an idea of Ishwar's behaviour but we can't wait for him to fix everything and Anika will feel low so lets make some plan to disturb this Viswamitra's meditation.
