Recap: Ishwar inform Boris to announce reward for anyone who could give details about Valery.

Arul stopped the car and thy got down. Kanmani and Anika stood before the little home of Lakshmi paati. Kanmani held Anika's hand and pleaded her.

Kan: Anika, this is not like the usual tattoos of people who do from the city from professionals. You may get fever or fall ill. You are not used to this type of living of ours. Please think again. I don't want something bad to happen to you and I will be responsible. Moreover Radha ma and Krishnan ayya will scold me if you fall ill not only that just remember about your husband please.

Ani: Even if I don't believe in all these things our situation forces to believe in them that may give a positive feel for our broken heart right ? So let me do it Kanmani and nothing will happen so don't worry.

Kan: don't say the same which i told Anika. 

Anika smiled and walked towards the small home and Arul stayed back. Kanmani accompanied her and informed the old lady to tattoo as per Anika's request.

Lakshmi: yaru peru pacha kuthanum ma ( whose name do you want to tattoo ?)

Ani: husband...Ishwar ...

Lakshmi understood everything from Anika's face and informed her to remove the pallu and loosen her blouse. Anika removed her pallu and loosened her blouse. Lahsmi started preparing with her usual song and Anika hissed when the needle touched her bare skin on her left chest. Kanmani wrapped her hand around Anika as Lakshmi continued and all Anika could do was remember Ishwar and tears rolled her cheeks praying for the courage to face him and embrace him again. Once they were done Lakshmi smiled at Anika and caressed her hair.

Laks: Don't worry, you will see you husband very soon. Now don't bath for today and if you get fever drink some herbal juice. Sleep and rest well today. Eat well only then both of you will be happy.

Ani: En kitta money illa... ( I don't have money....)

Lak: After you return to your husband and if you get a chance to come here buy me a saree. 

Anika wore the saree and they returned home. Radha saw Anika's face and turned to Kanmani who informed everything.

Radh: Anika, everything will be alright. Now have lunch and get rest. Kanmani stay with Anika in her room. If she get fever call me I will get medicine.

Kanmani and Anika had lunch and Anika returned to her room. She saw a kitten sleeping in the window sill. She sat on the bed and saw cute creature which brought another memory of her and Ishwar when they were in London.

Anika was sleeping after their non stop love making post lunch. Ishwar entered the room and laid next to her nuzzling his face into her neck.

Ani: Mama, please let me sleep..

Ish: I just came to tell you something...

Ani: go ahead I m all ears..

Ish: I just saw a pussy...

Anika jerked and sat holding her hair from falling on her face. she saw the duet covering her completely and then turned her gaze to him with her nose flaring in anger.

Ani: What the hell are you saying ?

Ishwar chuckled at her understanding what she understood from his statement and pulled her nose. She swat his hand and he immediately carried her with the duvet around her  and stood by the window with her still in his arms.

Ish: Look at the pussy by yourself..

Anika gasped audibly and tried to hit him but he moved his head back and bit her cheeks.

Ish: Dirty girl....just turn your face and look out of the window first. 

Anika slowly turned and saw a kitten playing with a stick and shut her eyes in embarrasment,

Ish: How dirty minded you are Mrs. Ishwar.....you are spoiling an innocent man's mind. Don't you know pussy is just a kitten.

Ani:  don't forget you are anything but innocent. If there is anyone innocent then it is only me ..the poor Anika...who is learning all dirty things from you. rascal....put me down now.

Ish: What I want to see the pussy...

Ani: Stand here and watch however long you want and let me go to sleep.

Ish: How can I watch if I let you go. Lets go to bed and now I just don't want to watch but also...

He licked his lips and Anika pulled his hair and jumped from his arm and ran to the washroom while he was sitting on the bed laughing at her disappearing figure. He loved teasing her to watch her blushing.

Anika closed the door and removed the saree and blouse standing infront of the mirror. Her fingers traced the letters on her chest gently still she felt a pain and tears from eyes reached her chest which when came in contact to the tattoo that stinged with irritation.

Ani: I love you so much...pray for us to gain all the courage to get over this and be together like before. Why did you stay silent when I asked about my father ? where is he ? Is he alive or dead ?

She wiped her tears and changed into a night wear and unlocked the door. Kanmani who had been waiting for Anika outside smiled at her and entered inside. 

Kan: Anika, sleep now. I will sleep on the floor.

Ani: Stop it Kanmani and now come and sleep on the bed next to me. Its not like I will be rolling and even if I roll and crush you please endure it.

Kanmani tied her hair into a bun and laid next to Anika who was also facing her.

Ani: Kanmani shall I ask you something ?

Kanmani nodded her head and Anika sighed before proceeding.

Ani: I don't know what is the problem between you and Veera bro but i can see that he too love you a lot and you too love him so why are you avoiding him ? 

Kan: Love is not simple as it is said Anika. Yes I love him and he too loves me but there is a different in the love we talk about.

Anika got confused and sat leaning back on the wall. Kanmani too sat and leaned on the head board.

Ani: Love is love and what is the difference you are saying ?

Kan: I love him and he too does but he loves the Kanmani whom he had pictured the way he wanted me to be and not the real Kanmani for whom I am. Love doesn't work that way Anika. True love doesn't see the negatives of the person they love. If their love is strong enough then all the negatives and wrongs will never come in their way to stop them from being happy together.

Anika felt a prick in her heart.

Ani Mv: was my love so weak that his negative side stood like mountain between us. 

She remembered the way Veera saw Kanmani everytime and she remembered another pair of eyes which showed the same reaction towards Ishwar.

Ani Mv: Lilly, does she love him ? Did I stay too blind or so naive to not understand that she has feelings for him. 

She rememered how Nancy has tried to put some sense into her many times but she has always ignored them. She remembered how Lilly still continued to work for Ishwar even after the incident of getting shot on the day of Nancy and Jerry's wedding.

Ani Mv: Lilly did not get shot but she saved Ishwar and got the bullet on her. Did I take his love for granted and hurt him ?

Her thoughts were stopped when Kanmani spoke again.

Kanmani: There is love in this world that one can rely and trust without judging and that is mother's love which doesn't have any expectation. They only know to give love and in return they don't ask for anything unlike the love we do which always has expectations.

Anika broke down feeling how low she felt of herself the moment after hearing Kanmani's words. She always wanted to love Ishwar more than how he loved her but she felt disgusted that she let him down..no she let their love down..yes she had fears of certain things and like Kanmani said she too loved the perception of Ishwar she had in mind and the way she looked at him but if she had loved him truly then she might have given him a chance to explain himself atleast rather than leaving him alone inspite of knowing how broken he will be without her. He had never left her alone even for a day after they got married and stood by her in all her times even when she fell in disorder. He never slept alone and always wanted her by his side in his arms or he would stay awake all time without sleeping.

Anika hit her forehead and started crying and her whole body was shaking. Kanmani panicked looking at her and tried to calm her. when she could not she rushed and called for Radha who came running to Anika and hugged her. Anika threw her hands around her cried her heart out. Radha wiped her face with her pallu and made her lay with her head on her lap and caressed her head.

Radh: Evlo azhanamo azhu aana apram porumaiya yosi edhu seri edhu thappu enna seiyanum nu nidhanama mudivu pannu. Ippo thoongu ma.( Cry as long as you want but later think  which is right, which is wrong and then decide what you want to do. Now sleep)

Anika sobbed for a long time and then later she slept dozing off in Radha's lap and on the other hand Ishwar was also sleeping due to the effects of the medicine.

Did I do some justification taking Anika to think rationally ? We will have another round of talk which will give clarity to Anika's mind.
