Recap: Lilly being enquired by the NIA for the second time.

Anika was going through the files Ishwar had given to sketch the design of the mansion he had asked for. Anika turned to Ishwar and sensing her gaze he turned to her and cocked his eye brows.

Ani: Mama, why does he want to build such a huge mansion in first place ?

Ish: He love his wife very much and want something magnificient to express his love. This should not be any less or ordinary building. 

Ani: Don't you think we should meet him to know his expectations in this ?

Ish: Not necessary. Now tell me what comes to your mind on hearing Taj Mahal ?

Ani: Shah Jahan's love for his wife Mumtaz what else ...

Ish: Good, if you happened to build a castle for me out of love what would it look ? Imagine atleast 10 generation of us would live there so plan it accordingly. How would you like the rooms for our children when they are young and how do you want them when they are grown and married and plan some rooms for grand children...

Ani: Wow, I have a lot of work to do..

Ish: Close your eyes and run a virtual image of whatever I said to you then you will be able to do it.

Ani: Ok, but will the client be happy because my design will be out of love for you.

Ish: Love is love and if the design is purely out of love then anyone will love it. So don't get that in your mind and just do your work and get the best of it.

Anika smiled nodding her head and continued working on the analysis. Jerry entered the room and showed the newspaper to Ishwar who smiled looking at it.

Ani: what is that you both are smiling at ?

Ishwar gave the paper to her and Anika saw Ishwar in admiration.

Ani: " The business tycoon Ishwar Vincent to sponsor the education of children of the farmers through his Educational Trust. Applications are invited for the academic. He is set to build colleges to benefit the children of the poor and also he has announced the start of constructing schools in villages to ensure the compulsory education of all children over there " Woww you run a educational trust is it ?

Jer: Boss is running the trust since the year he started making profits in business all these years it was not known publicly and we did through NGOs but this year he planned to help the farmer's children so we had to annouce it publicly. Not only this he also has a trust to help the people in needs. He has contributed so much everytime there was a natural calamity.

Ani: My god, such a great human you are mama...I love you more for this...and I m very proud.

Ish: We make profits and have some responsibility to the society so its not a big thing to help people around us and I hope we could help more people in needs in the coming years.

Ani: Yes, I wish I knew about you and could have used your trust for mine and Nancy's education. Granny struggled hard for our education. She told us that my father sent money but I highly doubt that. Sometimes I even wonder if my father is alive.

Ish: means???? ...

Ani: Granny said he went abroad to earn money but I never saw him after my mothers death. If he had loved me even for a bit then he must have come to me atleast once in all these years. Either he hates me and did not want to meet me or he must not be alive.

Ish: What if he really loved you but his situation was not in his favour ? No father will hate their children Anika.

Ani: Yes, the great love that stopped him from meeting his daughter. Anyway I really dont get his thoughts and unfortunately I got today. I don't want to talk any further so lets get back to work.

Anika placed the newspaper on the table and returned to her table. Jerry saw Ishwar watching Anika as she sighed rubbing her temples.

Ishwar's mood was completely off when Anika spoke about her father. His thoughts drifted to the cursed day when he held Alexander on his lap in a pool of blood. He walked out of the room and took the stairs to reach the terrace. He closed his eyes and clenched his fist on thinking of Alexander. 

He missed him badly and not to mention he missed his father very badly. He pulled out his mobile and walked to a plant and took a sim wrapped in a small zipper bag and inserted it in his mobile. 

He scrolled to the contact list of that sim and stopped at the particular contact " Home "  and hesitated if he should dial. After fighting with his heart for a long time he touched the green icon which started ringing on the other end. Ishwar's heart was pounding against his rib cage when he heard the ringing.

The call was answered and he heard the much yearned voice of the old man none other, his father.

Ish father: Hello yaarunga ? ( Hello who is this ?)

Ishwar gulped and tears rolled from his eyes when he heard his father's voice repeatedly. 

Ish: Appa...( Father) Ishwar's voice cracked as he called his father.

Ish fath: hmm, one minute...I will call your mother..

Ishwar's father did not speak further and placed the receiver. Ishwar waited to hear his voice but this time it was the voice he could even guess in his death bed. His mother spoke on the other end.

Ish mother: Ishwara ???? eppadi pa irukke ? ( Ishwara how are you ?)

Ish: Maa, neenga eppadi irukkinga ? Appa yeppadi irukaru ? ( Maa, how are you and how is father?)

Ish moth: Naanga nalla irukkom pa..unna yeppo paakka porom nu theriyala adhukku dhan kaathutu irukkom. ( We are fine ...just dont when we could see you and we are waiting for it )

Ish: Appa pesa maatara .. ( Father won't speak is it ? )

Ish mom: Konjam Kovam avarukku....enakkum irukku (he is annoyed a little...even me) 

Ish: Maa...

Ish mom: Anika eppadi irukka ? Nee avasara pattu panniya illa yosichi panniya theriyala aana andha ponnu ku edhuvum aagama paathuko..unnala avalukku endha abathum vara paathuko..appa ku andha kovam oru appavi ponnoda vaazhkaila unnala prechana vara koodadhu nu bayapadraru..( How is Anika ? I don't know if you did out of a hurry or thought well before marrying her but take care she doesn't get into trouble because of you..your father is mad because of that...there should not be any problem in that innocent girl's life because of you)

Ish: Anika enkooda irukardhu neenga irukka madhiri irukku maa...avalukku onnum aaga vida matten ma adha vida ennoda uyira vitruven..( I feel like being with you around Anika maa..I will let anything happen to her and better I will give my life )

Ish mom: Amma paakka varuviya Ishwar ? ( Will you come to see your mother Ishwar ?)

Ish: Kandippa varuven maa appadi naa varala na Anika va neenga paathukuvinga nu enakku theriyum maa..( I will surely come maa, Even if I couldnt make then I believe you will take care of Anika.)

Ish mom: Unga rendu peraiyum onna papen nu enakku nambikka irukku. Jerald eppadi irukkan ? Naa vaazthu sonnen nu sollu...apram unnoda thangachi Nancy eppadi irukka ?(I have confidence that I will see you both together. how is Jerald ? and convey my wishes to him ..how is your sister Nancy ?)

Ish: Ava seriyana vaayadi ma...(she is a talkative girl ) Seri ma ...(fine maa)

Ish mom: cut panna poriya ? mobile switch off pannama vekkalam la ..( Are you going to cut the call...atleast you should keep the mobile ON)

Ish: Nane call panren maa...(I will call myself maa)

She hummed and Ishwar cut the call wiping his tears. Once he was calm he removed the sim and put it back in the zipper pack and placed it below the plant pot and washed his face before returning to his room.

All his worries flew away when he saw Anika sitting in his seat with her leg on the table and shoes removed. She had a pen behind her ear and was clicking her selfie with her one eye closed. 

Ish: Is this what your work is it ?

Ani: You took a break and left the room so I thought this is break time and was relaxing my mind for some time clicking selfies.

Ish: Shall we go out, I don't feel like working anymore.

Ani: Ohh polame...( ohh we shall go ) Even I don't feel like working now..

Ish: You always say that Mrs.Ishwar. Now tell me where shall we go ?

Ani: beach....its been a long time we went for a beach. 

Ishwar took his blazer and Anika held his hand as they walked out of office. Ishwar called Jerry and informed him on their plans.

They reached the resort and got changed to casuals before walking to the beach. They sat under the sun shade and watched the waves as they were munching on their lunch. 

Ani: what happened to you mama ? Did I upset you talking about my father ?

Ish: No baby, just like that I did not feel like working anymore. Nothing to do with what you spoke so relax and enjoy the lunch. We will have a nap and return in the evening.

After lunch they were cuddling in his suite and Ishwar was first to wake up. He rubbed his eyes and saw Anika sleeping with a pout. He pecked her pout and woke her. They refreshed and reached the shore and walked hand in hand as the waves kept washing their feet.

Ani: Are you ok now ?

Ish: Why will I not when you are with me ? I m good

Ani: You never spoke about your parents. Do you mind if I ask you ?

Ish: I will let you know but not now. Trust in me..

Ani: Okiee...

She ran to the water and he watched her playing splashing the water from the shore. Anika picked up some shells and gave it to him. He picked a cone shell of medium size and put in his pocket. Later Anika pulled him to join her and they played until it fell dark and returned to the suite. Ishwar felt his heart light after speaking to his mother and having spend some time in nature with Anika.
