Recap: Anika gets into memories of the traumatic incident and Ishwar rushes her to the hospital

Ishwar and Anika tried to get up as soon as the doctor entered but he stopped them and sat beside them on the chair. Jerry and Nancy sat in the corner and watched silently. Doctor saw Anika fidgetting with Ishwars hand and his other hand caressing her hair. He forwarded a chocolate to Anika and smiled at her. Ishwar sighed her to take it and Anika took it from the doctor.

Doc: I had a very young patient who is getting discharged tomorrow after her treatment. She gave me this chocolate with so much of love and I thought you will love this.

Ani: Thank you.

Doc: Mrs. Anika, do you remember whom did you love the most for the first time ?

Ani: My mother...she was my everything....but she left me...then my father he too left me....

Doc: After your parents ?

Ani: My....gr....grann...

Tears were flowing from her eyes and Ishwar patted her to calm down.

Doc: Did your love for your parents vanished after your love for granny increased ?

Anika shook her head and sobbed.

Doc: Relax...You remember what happened that day Mrs. vincent ?

Ani: Yes....my granny...

Doc: close your eyes Mrs. Vincent and tell me some incidents when you trusted someone blindly and believed they would not leave you.

Ani: First time my father threw me in the air and caught me. I knew he would not leave me..My mother let me walk to the nearby shop alone and she followed me behind. I knew she not leave me. My granny hugged me when I lost my mother and I believed her that she will not leave me alone. My Nancy she saved me when a boy bullied me and I trusted her she will be with me always. Jerry anna helped me to save a kitten and I felt a bond with him.

Nancy cried silently hearing her words and the trust she has on her.

Ani: Ishwar mama....when I saw him for the first time...

Doc: You trusted him on your first sight ?

Ani: hmm..yes...I felt home just looking into his eyes.

Doc: Do you think you will be safe and comfortable with him ?

Ani: hmm yes doctor..

Doc: Why do you think your granny took that decision on that day ?

Ani: I don't know ?

Doc: Because she loved you. Though there was enough possibilities that she could have been saved by Mr. vincent, she took the decision because She didn't want the choice to be given to choose between her and you. She knew that you are in safe hands for the rest of the life. She wanted both her grand daughters to be safe and happy and she saw you both being happy with your partners.

Do you think she will be happy to see you broken and crying over her death ?

Anika broke down hearing his words confirming granny's death and Ishwar raked his fingers through her hair.

Doc: Your granny had a vision of your life in which you lived happily with a family which you yearned for. A normal life like you wished to live. A life where your partner protects you from everything and everyone. She is now happy seeing you and Mr. Vincent.

Do you want us to continue or we shall take break ?

Ani: I m ok....

Doc: Good Mrs. Vincent..Do you remember what happened after that day ?

Ani: Not completely...

Doc: What do you remember ?

Ani: me and mama......I saw a old lady in the park...london eye....I made a bouquet for mama...

Doc: Good...Whom do you love the most now that you cannot live without that person ?

Ani: mama....

Doc: Do you trust him and shall we test it ?

Anika nodded and doctor smiled as he got up from the chair. 

Doc: Now I want you both to get from the couch and Mrs. Vincent please stand facing me and Mr. Vincent will stand behind you.

Ishwar and Anika stood as the doctor said and he blindfolded Anika. He played an audio of wind and rustling leaves followed by birds chrping. He turned on the cooler which waved the cool air on her. He held her hand and caressed with his thumb.

Doc: Just listen to my words and nothing else Mrs. Vincent. Now tell me a place you wish to go or see.

Ani: A place full of flowers everywhere around me. Nothing other than flowers...

Doc: Woww....amazing..to see those flowers of all colors. I like the yellow flower very much.. which one do you like ?

Ani: All flowers but red and purple the most...

Doc: Raise your hands to your sides and feel the breeze and inhale the fragrance of the flowers Mrs. Vincent..Are you liking them ?

Anika inhaled as if she was really in the place and tilted her head smiling gently as she nodded to the doctor's question.

Doc: Looks like Mr. Vincent has made a surprise for you. He has made a flower bed for you with full red roses and purple flowers. 

Anika smiled hearing his words.

Doc: Do you trust Mr. Vincent ?

Ani: Yes...

Doc: Then what are you waiting for? Let yourself fall on the roses and tell me how it is and how do you feel ?

Anika slowly let herself fall backwards and before her body could touch the floor Ishwar caught her in his arms. Anika removed her blindfold and saw Ishwar holding her smiling at her. He kissed her forehead.

They heard claps and Anika straightened herself. Doctor smiled and sat on his chair and gestured Ishwar and Anika to sit before him.

Doc: You trust Mr. Vincent blindly so don't you think that he will never leave you or let something happen to him that will leave you in pain ?

Ani: I m sorry...

Doc: Don't be sorry Mrs. Vincent. Life is not the same for everyone. No one is born immortal and has to leave this earth some day. Life has to move on becasue you have a loving husband, a caring brother and a wonderful friend waiting to cherish you for all their life. Am I right ?

Ani: Yes doctor..

Doc: Do you want to ask me something ? 

Ani: Am I fine now ? I mean I don't want to worry my family anymore. I must have caused enough troubles for them already. I know how stubborn I could have behaved all these days.

Ish: You did not worry or trouble us Anika. You were very very cute like a lovely baby.

Nan: Yes, Ishwar and we got trained on having a mini Anika in the future. Especially Ishwar bro he will be the best father.

Anika blushed and Ishwar caught her hand below the table.

Doc: I think we have taken enough time and I want you to rest for the night. 

 Ani: Can I go home ?

Doc: I m so sorry, I want you to stay for a day before discharging you and by morning I will introduce someone very special. Now I will instruct the nurse to shift you to the room and she will give you medicines. If you dont mind can I have Mr. Vincent with me and by the time you can finish your medicines.

Ani: Sure...

Nurse took Anika back to her room with Nancy and Jerry happily holding her hands. Ishwar was with the doctor.

Ish: Has she recovered completely doctor ?

Doc: She is fine now but for complete recovery you need to take care of her. Its better to continue the medicines for next 30 days and keep her in a better environment and main thing keep her occupied with some activities so that she doesn't let her mind in unwanted thoughts. 

Ish: Will it be safe to take her back home to India ?

Doc: She must be fine. She might want to visit her granny but take time and slowly talk to her about visiting her granny's memorial a little later. May be once you feel she is completely back to her normal or even you can consult your doctor back in India. He has observed her and those details helped us to treat her today. I will thank him later.

Ish: Thank you so much. I owe both of you for bringing her back to me.

 Doc: you should get back to her. She might be feeling good still she will look for you now.

Ishwar shook hand with the doctot and returned to the room and saw Nancy sitting on the bed with Anika leaning on her shoulder and Jerry playing stone paper scissor with them. On seeing Ishwar Anika smiled and patted the place next to her for him to sit. He sat and kissed her cheeks and she leaned on his chest.

Nan: Adhu seri bro vandha odane avar pakkam poitiya ? ( Right, once bro is here you move to him is it ?)

Ani: Nanu, unakku dhan yen anna irukkar avar kitta la podi..(Nanu, you have my brother right..go away to him )

Ish: Jerry, Nancy, you both return home to rest. I m here to take care of her. Come in the morning.

Nan: ok..you could have told that you need privacy to be with your wife. I dont mind it.

Ani: ditto..look behind someone is eager to leave already. 

Nancy face palmed and Jerry shrugged pulling her along leaving the couples to smile at their rantings as they left the room. 

Ishwar looked at Anika with a smile and she hugged him wounding her hands around his neck.

Ani: Romba kashta paduthitena ? ( Did I worry you too much ?)

Ish: No snow flake..you can never trouble me. You were an amazing kid and like Nancy said I got trained to handle our future princess. You know she will be a lovely child and I will spoil her with my everything.

Anika blushed and Ishwar joined his forehead with hers caressing her cheek.

Ish: I missed you a lot Anika...I was dying to see this eyes without fear and yearnings. 

Anika cupped his face and kissed his forehead and pressed her lips on his intiating the kiss and they kissed taking away all their pains and missings. When they broke the kiss Ishwar locked the room and removed his shirt and settled on the bed with her.

Anika laid her head on his chest and kissed his chest like she used to do.

Ish: I missed this a lot. It was the day before Nancy and Jerry's marriage you kissed your spot. I waited all these days and finally happened today.

Ani: I m sorry...I have been such a scaredycat and put you through all these. Tell me did you cry ?

Ish: A few times...

Ani: mamaaaaaaaa...god....why did you shave ?

Ish: baby,  You wanted to see me like this and you know I will never refuse anything you ask for. And it was you who shaved me today. You don't like it now ?

Ani: I will love you with all your styles and looks.

Ish: You said the same thing after shaving me. 

Ani: What else did I do and why am I not remembering everything but a little of some incidents alone ?

Ish: Neraya panne...but I will tell them later because you were very naughty sometimes. I want you to compensate for everall the missing days but now you should sleep and dont worry for not remembering everything.

Anika snuggled into him and he smiled contently inhaling her fragrance and they drifted to sleep.

A/N:

Many of you wanted to get Anika back to normal so I revised my plans of having more of innocent Anika and Ishwar's moments and she is back. Hope you are all happy.

This chapter took maximum time to cover the psychological conversations. Not sure if it came well. A little nervous so Please drop your comments on it.
